Assuming Kun's update is bad, I will use my 1 FT to bring in Lukaku or Rooney. This will allow me to get 11 out, assuming no random rotations.

a) Upgrade Chambers to Zaba/Terry - Chambers is dead to me anyway.
b) Boyd to Yaya (only afford with Lukaku) - Gives benching problems but great strength in depth for Xmas.

B) is certainly more exciting but means playing Yun against Everton and doubling up Villa, which is not ideal.

Problem with no Boyd is money tied up on your bench/costing extra transfers.
You kind of have to replace Siggy/Downing imo. Unless you get lucky with injuries have a couple of FT's in the future to get a cheap 4.5m enabler back again.True, but having a strong front 8 over the Christmas period could be very useful.
If it is a matter of getting rid of Siggy or Downing I think I would rather A) and improve my defence.
Seeing Yaya is on 4 yellows and your thin squad, I'd go with Rooney and leave it at that

Slight repost here, but I am the only one thinking falcao is a viable replacement for Aguero, if he starts tomorrow I think he will be coming into my team... I expect I will be told he's injury prone and isn't guaranteed starts, but would LVG have sanctioned the money spent on falcao for a bench player, and isn't Aguero considered injury prone? Hence the current dilemma lots of us are having?

After hastily doing Fab > Haz and Chambers to Yun yesterday with my 2 FTs, I am thinking of Aguero & Siggy > Sakho/Bony and Yaya for -8. Mostly likely Sakho to have the cash.
Just feel like Yaya is the most likely of all MF/Forwards to score big over the next few weeks, and Bony and Sakho are hot. Siggy is a great value, but his production is not really much the last 8 weeks (4 ppg), and is expendable for a heavy hitter. Ultimately, all of the forwards are arguably producing about the same, except for Aguero, so I am inclined to go value with Sakho and use $ to upgrade my defense.

Dzeko is an interesting one. Might be a rare window that he gets starts & fixtures. He's had a really sub-par season so far between rotation, injury, and loss of form. Could be a great little differential.
