Aguero and Chadli -> Yaya and Bony -4 = done

    1.5ITB

Considering Fab won't play and Boyd is his cover, is Fab -> Haz worth another hit?

I'd say yes it is likely to pay off this week. He is a captaincy option this week too.

possibly coz think haz will go well this week but more sensible to keep assuming you'd lose money, would rather have fab nest week

What are you blabbering on about. We had our best performance in years without him- the Everton game.

We've switched to 442 and he doesn't fit into that. From a fantasy perspective he may have goals but he's been absent otherwise in games. He is a bit part player again.

Ok, so I've made my two allowed changes this week (Alnwick and Kane In for Elliot and Austin), I'm top of my mini league by 20 points.

    But…

Im pondering a -8 this week what do you think of this?.

Aguero + Boyd OUT and Sakho + Yaya IN

    Next week

    Kane OUT - AUSTIN IN

Please advise people. I don't usually take it seriously but as Im top of my works league and there is money involved I need to get this right!.

Sahko - I'd want to be reassured he was a genuine starter before making any move for him. Now that Carroll is back, uncertainty seems to be the order of the day.

      Agree with getting Austin in.

Madness. You've taken a -4 hit to bring in Kane for Austin and then you'll swap back next week? That's effectively 8 points you're gambling on Kane scoring big time. I have both, and wish j didn't have Kane!

      1. Danstoke82
        • 11 Years
        11 years, 1 month ago

I made the Austin switch before Aguero went down injured. Probably not the wisest move but seeing as though he was suspended I acted quickly, stupidly. Wish I hadn't but mistakes happen I guess.

As it happens, I put Kane in due to the fact that they place Swansea Away followed by Burnley at Home. I fancy him to get something in return. Likewise Sakho has Sunderland Away followed by Leicester at home, hence my quandary about bringing him in as I really want Yaya and Sakho seems the cheaper option to put in alongside him with the Aguero funds.

I dropped a bollock on Austin but looking to bring him back for the WBA home match. However, at the expense of Kane OR Sakho. Problem is, both of them strikers, as I said above, have very tasty fixtures the week that Austin returns and WBA can quite easily shut out a team like QPR.

Kane was brought in due to his cheapness. In a team where I am extremely heavy in midfield with 2 x £10m midfielders plus Fab, I was content with my Costa/Aguero/Austin attack until the latter two messed it up.

Sakho seems like he could be a serious bargain but I am worried he won't start due to Carroll's form. However, at his price, it would allow me to bring my main target, Yaya in who has some very good fixtures coming up and considering he is the set piece and penalty taker, I think it would be insane not to bring him in?.

I think he's the only one this year to fall 0.3 in a week. He lost over 400,000 owners that week. I guess Aguero could lose a similar number but most transfers occur just after the games and just before the next GW so we should be in the lull now

          1. Pasqualinho
            • 16 Years

Costa dropped 0.3 too earlier in the season - quite rapidly too and a lot of NTO towards the end of the week were irrelevant. I think as Aguero's ownership is in the same ballpark the same will happen here - I'd guess he will drop 0.3 by Thursday.

Dzeko is very tempting but not sure if he could play more than 60-70mins per game, as per Pellegrini's comments.

so who do you think is the most reasonable player to replace Aguero with?

Here is my team (since the transfer also is indirectly related with the other players already in the team) http://fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/877284/history/

I'd highly consider Bony if I didn't have Siggy, but Bony + Siggy is too many Swans players for my liking. At the end of the day it's Swansea not Chelsea, there is a good chance they flop every other game.

Just can't get excited for Aguero to Rooney considering his position and how bad untied are

Have Siggy so don't want Bony
Have Yaya so not to watch worried about dzeko till we know more bout his game time
Villa are terrible so Benteke not that tempting

    Think it's gona be Lukaku.....

    Costa Bony Sakho

5.9m in the bank for Downing to Yaya next week

Did Hutton, Downing and Costa in for a Chambers, Chadli and Aguero for -8. Hope it will pay off.

have 5.6 in the bank (im so rich) and this team:

    Guzan, Elliot
    Azpilicueta, Hutton, Yun, Moore, S.Taylor
    Hazard, Sanchez, Yaya, Downing, Boyd
    Costa, Bony, Austin

if you go for a bigger hit you might as well get in Baines for Saylor, should more than make up for another 4 pts

I was thinking about that, but i have different plan:

moore and boyd out for oshea and di maria/eriksen/9.6 mid for a -4 hit

Can't afford Yaya so thinking of doing Fabregas to Silva -4 if he plays midweek. Already have Hazard and Costa don't want to treble on Chelsea attack as I may get a defender in soon?

im liking the look and price of silva though im kind of fearful of running with Fab + Silva when others have Yaya and Hazard

So I guess the template is officially gone?
    My team:
    Fabianski (Jakupovic)
    Baines, Terry, Hutton, Dummett, Yun
    Sanchez, Hazard, Downing, Siggy, Boyd
    Austin, Kun, Benteke

    What to do here?
    A) Kun --> Costa (boring as hell)
    B) Kun --> Costa AND Siggy --> Yaya (but Siggy plays Spurs so...)
    C) Kun --> Bony AND Boyd --> Yaya (benching dilemmas incoming !)

Note: I will sort out my keepers when the appeal is dismissed
Note 2: If I'm not going Costa, I'm going double Chelsea defence next week
