Three more players toppled off the Suspension Tightrope this weekend, with Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas the most high-profile casualty for Fantasy managers. The Spaniard’s fifth yellow card of the campaign means he’s set to miss next weekend’s home encounter with Hull as Jose Mourinho’s men look to bounce back from their first defeat of the season.

Everton’s Gareth Barry and Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko are also unavailable for selection this time around after collecting their fifth cautions. Barry sits out the Toffees’ home clash with QPR on Monday evening, whilst Sissoko misses Newcastle’s trip to the Emirates.

We now have 24 players balancing on the Tightrope after a flurry of cards over the previous Gameweek. Man City’s Yaya Toure is one of the latest new entries after he incurred the referee’s wrath during Saturday evening’s narrow win over Everton. Toure, along with the likes of team-mate Vincent Kompany, Villa’s weekend scorer Alan Hutton, Newcastle right-back Daryl Janmaat and Southampton’s Graziano Pelle, needs to navigate the next four Gameweeks without a yellow in order to avoid an automatic one-match ban.

Five teams – Villa, Hull, City, Southampton and Stoke – are the most affected, with three players apiece all teetering on the Tightrope.

Elsewhere this weekend, Charlie Austin, Calum Chambers, Steven Taylor and Lukas Fabianski will also serve one-match suspensions after being sent off during the weekend. Swansea lost their appeal over Fabianksi’s dismissal at West Ham, after the hosts’ Diafra Sakho was guilty of handball prior to the incident which led to the keeper’s departure.

Leicester’s Paul Konchesky has successfully appealed a three-match ban imposed for violent conduct during the weekend loss at Villa and is available for selection with immediate effect.

In terms of returning players, Neil Taylor, Nemanja Matic, Andi Weimann and Wes Morgan are available once again, having completed their one-match bans. Gaston Ramirez and Claudio Yacob are back for Hull and West Brom respectively after sitting out the last three Gameweeks.

I love cheering English teams on in the Champion's League but I regret it years later. For example I wanted Chelsea to win the UCL under Di Matteo because they were underdogs but after they won it all I heard from Chelsea fans was "that was the greatest UCL run of all time"

Inter in 2010, that was the greatest UCL run of all time. Legendary stuff.

    Which one?

    A) Boyd and Aguero ➡ Nasri and Dzeko (and I will have money to get City defender)

    B) Boyd and Aguero ➡ Silva and Dzeko (stick with Clyne)

    C) Downing and Aguero ➡ Yaya and Dzeko?

I honestly couldn't care who plays up front for City, as long as that lovely Ivorian is in CAM.

Reduces his chances of that 5th booking and increases his goal threat. Set pieces too? Oooft!

Yes, but think I will wait and see what Pelle has anything to say about his fitness.
He is a class striker imo, and a decent ppg ratio.

Why does everyone on here think it's necessary to fill their team up with Man City players. Just because they have some "easy" fixtures? Surely that gives them more opportunities to rotate. Teams will be parking the bus and with no Kun, do they really look like scoring bucket loads. Can anyone honestly say that any of their defence is nailed on and fit? Hart isn't even worth it as there are better, cheaper options with save and BAPs potential. Everyone forgotten that Yaya spat the dummy out about his birthday cake. With no Kun I won't be getting any of them

Easy fixtures most likely means points - that's why most are interested - calculated decisions can be made on who to bring in

        Calculated risky decisions as follows:
Zaba - Rotation with Sagna and new baby
        Clichy - Rotation with Kolarov
        Kompany - injured
        Demichellis - Rotation with Mangala
Nasri no form and rotation risk
        Silva injured and rotation risk
Yaya 4 yellows and off to African holidays soon
Dzeko and Jovetic injured and rotation risk
Lampard, Milner and Navas rotation risk
Hart - too expensive and better options for saves and BAPs

The birthday cake may have been a joke or a cover story.

The real problem was his brother's death, and Yaya now appears to have recovered from that.

Maybe you're right, out of them all, he's the only one worth considering but his price and 4 yellows are still a risk. I'm seeing people take 4 and 8 point hits to get the others in! Panic buys to replace Kun. Look what happened to Spurs when they lost Bale and what Liverpool did when Suarez left. Quantity not quality

    My team is currently:

    Foster (Elliot)

    Ivanovic, Bertrand, N.Taylor (Hutton, Dummett)

    Sanchez, Cesc, Siggy, Chadli, Boyd

    Aguero, Costa (Austin)

So Cesc, Chadli, Aguero and Austin are all unavailable or unlikely to feature heavily.

    Should I, with 2 FT:

    A. Aguero, Chadli out > Rooney & Downing (Austin & Cesc on bench)
    B. Aguero, Cesc out > Rooney & Hazard (the safe option)
    C. Aguero, Cesc out > Rooney & Yaya (I really like the look of Man City's fixtures)
    D. Aguero, Chadli out > RVP & Downing (Austin & Cesc on bench)
