In light of Sergio Aguero’s knee injury, we delve into the data to highlight a number of forwards’ weekend displays. Wilfried Bony and Robin van Persie’s fine form arrives under the spotlight, whilst we also assess Diego Costa’s recent toils for Chelsea. The Gunners’ weekend scorers and Tottenham’s in-form Dane are also amongst this evening’s topics as Fantasy managers look to spend that left over budget from the Aguero fall-out.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Don't have 3 defs next week.

Dzeko > Austin (got Costa and bony)
    Moore > Demi

Best I can do you think?

3/4 home games for Austin so I think I'm keen but yeah it's not a bad thought.

Do Eriksen. Marney is going to be useless, next few weeks. You need a plethora of big hitters, imo.

3-5-2 works. Having 2 FT is always useful, but so is having your benched stocked as full as possible each week at this time of year.

Doing Clyne to a Chelsea or City player but no idea who.

Clichy - Cheaper, attacking but threat of Kolorov (which didn't happen even though fit)
Zabaleta - Attacking but another rotation risk

Terry - Solid, had a 'his break' mid week after Jose's roation talk.
Cahill - Stats betters (see article) but hasn't been rested recently.

        Thoughts?

        Morning all,

a question I've been mulling over, if you could only have 2 out of Costa, Fab and Haz, who would you take?

I'm swaying towards Haz and Fab, Costa is just a red card waiting to happen, I can see him getting targeted more by defences as the season goes on.

        all comments welcome.

          Hazard

& Costa , if only because there are loads of midfielder options and very little strikers screaming to be signed

true about striker options, I have RVP, Bony and costa at mo, if I release costa for a cheapy forward, (thinking Kane) I will have just that little extra to have a midfield of Sanchez, Erik, Fab, Haz and Cazorla, I think Cazorla is hitting form now, might be a gamble though I know.

Good fixtures for all over Christmas im thinking, if its a mess and blows up in my face, I can always sort it out on Jan wildcard.

I have A and I'm very happy with it but B is a good option too. I got rid of Downing a few weeks ago and have regretted it since

Doosra has a point though, would feel more comfortable having the midfield options
Kane & Sakho aren't too convincing
Austin wins the battle in the budget forward battle imo

I have no City cover whatsoever so looking to get some cover in with my FT this week. I have 3 options but unsure which is the best option: (1.5m in the bank)
        a) Azpi > Zabeleta/Demichelis
        b) Chambers > Zabeleta/Demichelis
        c) Forster > Hart

If going for A or B which is the better option? There is a good chance that Zaba will get dropped for 1 of the next 4 league games

Its something I only thought of a few minutes ago. Up till then I was thinking Chambers to Demichelis. Now it has me thinking...

Giroud, Benteke, Sakho. Probably Sakho the safe pick. Benteke for flair

So I need to get rid of dzeko. My options are:

        A) dzeko to bony/giroud/Austin/kane
        B) dzeko to Austin/kane, siggy to Silva (-4)
        C) dzeko to giroud, clyne to Clichy (-4)
        D) dzeko to Kane/Austin, duff to any man city defender (who?, -4)
        E) Another option

          A could also include Carroll

          sorry that doesn't help!

I think Austin is a good shout, has good fixtures too and frees up nice bit of cash for a transfer next week.

I wouldnt take a hit for Silva, just back from injury...

Clichy is not nailed but no one knows whats going on in the city defence

Just Dzeko to Bony for me here
          No need for the hit

I have RVP and Costa, and am stuck on the 3rd, (probably Austin)

Should one ditch Sigurdsson for Eriksen for a hit now?
I'll lose 0.5 in value, but Eriksen seems far better investment.
        Eriksen rising tonight

Strong I think. Too many injuries. Even if Kos comes back chances are some other Arsenal defender will get injured, lol

          Fabianski / Pantilimon

          Baines / Zabaleta / Azpilicueta / Wisdom / DUFF*

          Hazard / Sanchez / Siggy / Downing / OBERTAN*

          Bony / Lukaku / Austin

          1FT / 3.6 ITB

Who should my main priority be out - Duff or Obertan?

Can just afford Obertan > Eriksen, but that leaves me with no extra funds anywhere else.
          Alternative: Obertan > Mirallas

Duff might be more of a priority with 2 defenders with rotation risk? Thinking of maybe Jones, or the Man City double up with Demi?

Your defense is solid (its actually 1 away from my defense and I am thinking of going Chambers to a Man City defender) so I dont see the need to get rid of Duff. Upgrade Obertan. Eriksen is a good shout for his next 2 fixtures

            Keep Silva, why get rid?
Same with Siggy, great away game coming up to break the trend.
If not, then I'd ponder on taking him out. No real rush imo
