QPR’s home hitman hogs the array of impressive numbers on show from the weekend, ably assisted by stellar showings from Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen. Elsewhere in our regular members’ statistical digest, we examine how Man City’s tactical tweaks influenced two of their key midfielders and analyse how a pair of returning United assets are hinting at major hauls as their minutes begin to build.

Anybody know for sure if Giroud is now penalty taker or will Santi continue on them?
Close to going Siggy to Carzola... -
Any suggestions with what to do with this?
2FT 0.5 itb
Guzan
Baines Zaba Wisdom Dummett Duff*
Sanchez Haz Yaya Eriksen Siggy
Costa Austin Sakho
Thinking either Duff to O'Shea, or Baines Sakho to O'Shea Benteke-
I'm thinking of doing those very same moves: Baines Sakho to O'shea Benteke. I think they're quite good moves. Are you worried about Sakho rotation?
-
Sakho to Kane and upgrade Duff to Debuchy.
-
That is very good, thanks
-
-
Also thinking Duff to O'Shea, or maybe Yun to O'Shea. I have a bevvy of injured, cheap defenders with spoor fixtures.
-
-
When will PL players leave for the ACON?
-
it is suggested after the new year fixtures
-
Think they will still the fixtures on the 10th/11th January?
-
That's about right cat in the hat
-
nope
-
-
-
-
Which Arsenal player will haul in the points vs QPR?
I say... Santi Cazorla-
Giroud looks the best bet
-
this
-
yep greedy boy
-
-
-
Im gonna go for Podolski
-
Wally
-
Hmm hard to see a start there, but maybe
-
-
-
I'm hoping Sanchez, he's the only on eI have an dafter today I would n't transfer anyone in. Giroud will undoubtedly score more goals over next 10 weeks though (if he stays fit) .
-
and after
-
wouldn't surprise me if Sanchez is rested. Didn't look that great today
-
-
Podolski
-
-
Sakho->Kane or 5th Mid->Silva
-
The latter
-
Maybe the latter as I don't think there is much between Sakho and Kanes next 5
-
-
a) Bench one: Carroll Siggy Fabregas
b) Play one: Wisdom Hutton
c) Captain one: Hazard Sanchez Yaya-
a) S
b) W
c) H -
Carroll
Hutton
Hazard -
a) Carroll
b) Hutton
c) Sanchez, but VC Haz in case Sanchez doesn't play

-
Stuck at bottom of last page..
Anybody know for sure if Giroud is now penalty taker or will Santi continue on them?
Close to going Siggy to Carzola-
Cazorla
-
Set piece takers show Giroud ahead of santi
-
Giroud is on pens for sure, in any case Arteta takes them above all
-
-
A Carroll
B Hutton
C Hazard-
Cheers
-
-
I'm pretty worried about Alexis. His output has dropped massively recently. He's clearly knackered. Anyone thinking about dropping him?
-
I don't have the cohonas but I do think been shoved out wide Giroud hasn't helped
-
It's more to do with the formation change than anything else. Completely different role
-
Indeed. Being shoved out wide certainly hasn't helped, but just looking at his energy levels, they seem massively lower than in previous weeks.
-
-
Yeah definitely. Cazorla is so much more fresh and it's showing. Playing some great stuff.
It's just an absolutely terrifying prospect dropping Sanchez and seeing him score a brace with that ownership, price etc. -
It's the formation
-
I think he is less attractive now that Giroud is back. Does anyone have any stats on Sanchez score when Giroud is in playing?
-
He doesn't seem to be near the goal either.
-
-
Which of these look best?
A. Siggy -> Sterling
B. Sakho -> Benteke
C. Save FT-
C
-
Assuming that Siggy is fit for AVL match, I would say C. this week and then A. next week.
-
this
-
Cheers lads!

Was anyone on here a few years back when we decided to test the theory that eating cheese late night before bed gave you nightmares? 😆
-
I wasn't.. but I've just eaten 2 toasted cheese sandwiches.
I shall update you in the morning.-
The pickled onions may be the killer here
-
-
This happened to me a couple of nights ago. I went to a french restaurant and had a rich, cheesy sauce with some mussels. Had a horrific dream. "?
-
I was probably here but I hate cheese unless it's toasted or in a protein shake 🙂
-
Cheese in a protein shake? 😕
-
Having said that if you work out and take Leucine, that smells like cheesy socks.
-
-
Milk,Greek yogurt,raw egg,2 spoons peanut butter,2 scoops Cottage cheese,Almonds,oats FTW
-
-
I was on here when a certain A.P said the game would open at 3 a.m to avoid too much activity on the server 😆
-
melted cheese ftw
#no nightmares #scrumptious -
we need an expert
where's cheesoid?
-
-
Anybody watxh the whole utd match?
How were adm and falcao?-
ADM only played 25 minutes, finding his legs. couple shots, nothing spectacular.
Falcao good movement but also not really that spectacular, though his goal was a very nice header.
-
-
Guys, what changes would you suggest for this team?
Guzan
Baines / Azpi / Wisdom
Sanchez / Haz / Yaya / Siggy
Lukaku / Bony / Austin
(Mccarthy / Downing / Yun / Saylor)
2 FT & 0.9m itb -
A) Foster/Baines/Downing
OR
B) 4.0/O'Shea/ADM -
Who to play from this bunch in gameweek 18 chaps? After 4 or 3 if Bertrand seems a good bet...
A) Lamela
B) Tadic
C) Lampard
D) Montero
E) Walcott
F) Barkley-
think this is the same draft question?
lammy;lamps;monty and berk-
Cheers, it is. Is Monty fit and will he start do you think?
-
-
-
A) Siggy ➡ ADM for free
B) Save FT-
A. Easy.
Wish I had the funds to do this without a hit-
Thanks. So I'm assuming ADM looked lively when he came on?
-
Yeah heavily involved. Cheaper than Rooney, Falcao and RVP.
I want him. Badly.
-
-
-
A-although not sure if ADM is the right choice.
-
Hmm. Who would you suggest?
Midfield is Haz, Alexis, Siggy, Downing, Boyd.
Not a fan of Silva and can't afford YYT.-
I was going to suggest one of those 2! Maybe ADM then in that case. Sterling perhaps?
-
Could do Sterling, although BR said he is due a rest soon
-
-
-
-
Don't know your team, you might already have city covered but Siggy>Silva strikes me as better, and cheaper.
-
-
Anyone else considering Walters for the 5th mid slot?
With squad rotation over the next few, it seems like a necessary upgrade from the cheapies.
He rotates perfectly with Siggy and seems to be somewhat fixture proof over the last few weeks. -
Baines, Siggy > O'Shea, Cazorla no hits?
-
Would Cazorla 100% start? He's been their best player in the last 2 games. AW might want him fresh for West Ham
-
I'll be stunned if he drops Cazorla. He's not played that much this season, not nearly as much as Sanchez.
-
-
-
Current DF:
Baines - Clyne - Naylor- Yun - Moore
Good enough to start the first three this week, I feel.
I plan for Baines -> Zab next gameweek. But Yun's injury caused me zero backup in case Zab doesn't play. Looking elsewhere and then .. Skrtel? -
Charlie Austin is third in the golden boot. 1 of Costa.
Who saw that after Costa;s start?-
Me. Austin owner GW1 and 2.
-
-
Pick 1 from each group to score most points until the Wildcard!
1. Silva/Sterling/Siggy/
2. Baines/Zabaleta/ Clichy/
Baines, Cahill, Clyne, Wisdom, Naylor
Sanchez, Hazard, Downing, Siggy, Marney my current players
Thanks..-
1. Sterling
2. Zabaleta-
Sterling over Silva.. interesting!
What's the main reason for that?
-
-
-
I have money to upgrade my mid. So, I am doing Catermole to Mid of 10.0m£.
I was thinking either Sterling or Cazorla? What do you think for the next 3-4 gws (until WC).
Front 8 would be :
Ameobi - Downing - Haz - Yaya - Sterling/Cazorla/???
Bony - Austin - Rooney
PS : it would be for a hit.
What do you think? -
Going to see how Costa plays tomorrow but...
1) Giroud, Baines or
2) Costa, Skrtel-
Skrtel?! 🙄
-
-
Need to upgrade a defender to someone who plays but which is the best option?
2FTs
1.
Downing-------->Adam Johnson
Bartley----------->4.1 Def (Blackett, Richards (Swa), Moore, Bruce)
2.
Downing------->Walters
Bartley------->4.9 Def (N Taylor, Dann, Hutton, Vergini, O'Shea, Tomkins etc.)
3.
Downing----->Milner
Bartley------> Toure (Liv) (Already got Yaya)
4.
Downing----->Ki
Bartley------->Debuchy
5.Wait & See
Front 8 is currently:
Downing, Yaya, Sanchez, Boyd, Hazard
Costa, Benteke, RVP-
Keep downing. Release the cash from yaya shortly
-
Agreed.
-
-
-
Any ideas what to do with this lot? 2 FT, £0 ITB...
DDG - Elliot
Baines - Naylor - Bruce - Wisdom - Hutton
Siggy - Sanchez - Yaya - Hazard - Fer
Austin - Bony - Rooney
Getting a bit frustrated by Rooney in midfield and also looking to get rid of Baines and Siggy
Any suggestions appreciated 🙂 -
Secretly hoping Costa gets injured tomorrow to give me an excuse to switch to Falcao/RVP
-
I would agree but I have him captain. Maybe midweek injury?
-
he'll get a yellow card and 0 goals .. that is enough reason
-
-
What would you choose?
A) Foster / Baines / Downing
OR
B) 4.0 / O'Shea / ADM-
Who's the other keeper?
-
Guzan
-
-
A
-
-
Who to bring in to replace Lukaku for free?
Rooney
Benteke
Giroud-
Giroud
-
giroud
-
Benteke or Giroud
I'll say Benteke. Better fixtures. -
Already have sanchez though
-
Giroud is scoring goals though. Sanchez has not been.
-
-
Giroud
-
-
I'm very tempted to WC.
-
😆
-
My team is awful! Haha
-
Utd will get through this
-
-
-
Don't 🙁

Don't get rid of Downing, if anything downgrade a striker
-
dont get rid of downing after chelsea they have leaky defences
-
