QPR’s home hitman hogs the array of impressive numbers on show from the weekend, ably assisted by stellar showings from Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen. Elsewhere in our regular members’ statistical digest, we examine how Man City’s tactical tweaks influenced two of their key midfielders and analyse how a pair of returning United assets are hinting at major hauls as their minutes begin to build.

Sorry for the repost.
A) Siggy -> ADM
B) Save FT
Midfield is currently Siggy, Downing, Hazard, Sanchez, Boyd.
Only other city coverage is Zabaleta but not keen on Silva, he has always been a frustrating FPL player. Thoughts?-
I think he will be just as frustrating to own as Silva
-
What makes you say that?
ADM has been somewhat consistent this eason after his amazing start, whereas Silva had only 2 goals and 2 assists in 10 games prior to his brace.-
It's in his history
-
-
-
B
-
B. If fit, Siggy could easily outscore ADM this week.
-
Hmm yeah, I already have Bony though as Swansea cover.
Any more thoughts?
-
-
-
Milner, Silva and Yaya too much?
what are the chances we'll see David Villa arrive in Manchester next week?-
3 midfielders from same team too much.
-
Great shout. Could well happen!
-
The Villa thing, I mean. Don't do the mid thing.
-
-
too much

-
http://fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/32939/event-history/17/
I think I have 3 options here..
1 - Yun-->O'Shea
2 - Siggy--->Silva (double up MCI mids with Yaya)
3 - Sakho--->Kane or Benteke
Which path to take... I am sorely tempted by 3 with Benteke myself.. -
I should of gone -4 last week Coleman >>> Zab now I'm stuck with Coleman another week grrhhh
-
Zab was rested last week, 0 points. Coleman scored 2 i think
-
Zab 11 Coleman 1
-
-
-
Any news on Mirallas? Will he play on Boxing Day?
-
Coach said he should not miss any christmas games, but we cant be sure until the next presser.
-
Thanks mate, just need to know whether to sell or not to get in silva. Also u know if bony will play so if he won't I can get bony?
-
Giroud even
-
-
-
-
Sanchez captain really does make sense. Just trust me.
-
Didn't work too well for me today 🙂
-
Qpr at home.
Don't end up with hazard or cazorla captain due to advice from people who think west brom park the bus-
lol +1
-
-
-
Not when he doesn't start and might make a 1 point cameo
-
Looks shattered.
-
-
My current side is
Foster
Chambers/Naylor/Zaba
Sanchez/Hazard/Downing/Siggy
RVP/Costa/Austin
Subs: Krul, Boyd, Yun, Dummett
I'd like Silva/Yaya but it would mean taking RVP out and taking a 4 point hit. Somebody tell me it definitely isn't worth it?!-
it definitely isn't worth it
-
What he said.
-
-
-
What to do with this team? 2FT, 0.7M ITB
http://i.gyazo.com/adc6227107780cee5ec3055b81fbc6eb.png
Guzan
Baines Terry N. Taylor
Sanchez Toure Hazard Downing Siggy
Sakho Costa
Bench: Austin, Dummet, Wisdom
Concerns:
Baines - Good fixtures, poor form, Mirallas is back
Sakho - High points per game, fixture proof
Sigurdsson - Rotates nicely with Austin but worrying form
Costa - Not justifying his price but has potential too. Takes third Chelsea spot
Have two major options. Either:
1) Costa>Giroud, Sakho>Benteke
2) Baines>Debuchy, Sakho>Benteke
Anything else you can think of? 😀-
I'd keep all three of your strikers and get rid of Baines, possibly for Zaba.
-
Was thinking that as well. Thanks for the suggestion.
-
-
no concerns about benching austin??
-
Some concerns but this week it's a bit easier to bench him. Sigurdsson is more likely to score more points IMO. If I keep Sakho I may play Austin over him.
-
-
Probablye ditch Baines.
-
Roll those dice!
Costa -> RVP/Falcao
Sakho -> Kane
Woohoo!
-
-
2FT's
1.Downing------>Ki
Bartley-------->Debuchy
2.Downing------>Milner
Bartley------->Toure
3.Keep Downing-
Keep. He's in great form.
-
3. Dont understand why you'd want to lose Downing.
-
3, innit.
-
Keep Downing
-
-
Siggy -- ?
Loadsamoney-
you need city coverage. Yaya or Silva .. I'd do Yaya if you can afford it
-
-
Guzan
Baines / Azpi / Wisdom
Sanchez / Haz / Yaya / Siggy
Lukaku / Bony / Austin
(Mccarthy / Downing / Yun / Saylor)
2 FT & 0.9m itb
A) Lukaku -> Benteke or Giroud
B) Baines -> Zaba
C) Baines & Lukaku -> Zaba & Giroud/Benteke
D) Baines, Siggy & Lukaku -> Zaba, Silva/ADM & Benteke (-4)
E) any other suggestion-
I like A and C.
I would probably just take A-
who'd you suggest...Giroud or Tekkers?
-
I don't know, I am trying to decide myself between them.
-
-
-
-
Siggy due another fall in price tonight?
-
Not even close
-
-
1FT
Baines --> Debuchy ? Allows £2.7ITB to upgrade a mid next week then-
Save 2ft and can always pull the trigger next week.
Baines has higher ceiling
-
-
Will mirallas play and will bony play?
-
Play what?
-
Spin the bottle
-
If bony will get rested I'll swap for giroud
-
-
the fool
-
-
Bony for sure, Mirallas likely
-
-
You're all such drama queens on Sunday nights
-
Yep. Suddenly Sanchez is dispoable . Makes me want to scream...
-
-
Fabregas below 14 points tomorrow and he has to go.
-
Fabregas is a season keeper
-
There are no season keepers
-
I have to disagree. Krul, De Gea, Lloris, Hart and others are all likely to be Keepers for the season. 😉
-
-
I agree but it's tough for us with azpi fab and Costa..be nice to have hazard
-
Haz over Fab is a no brainer at this point imo. Earlier in the season Fab was a better pick, but Haz caught up and overtook him
-
I've had fab since gw1 and more consistent. Totally disagree its a no brainer. Only better thing is more captain potential..
-
-
-
-
Setting the bar high are we?
-
9.7m he cost me!!
-
-
-
Who's price is rising tonight?
-
Kane
-
Kane
-
-
Should I -
Yun >>>> Hutton
Coleman >>> Zab
My back line
Hart
Coleman Azpi Reid Yun Saylor-
Or both -4
Or OShea and Zab -4 -
Decent backline already. I'd be tempted to save the transfer.
-
Just worried about rotation for Azpi and only Yun Saylor and Reid all have tough fixtures
-
-
-
Only Kane rising tonight.
What about fallers?-
Mutch
-
-
and fallers?
-
Can't access the rules on my phone, so can someone tell me the WC window dates kindly?
-
After the start of GW20 (ie. for GW21 on the 10th Jan) up til the deadline for GW24 on the 7th Feb
-
-
Need to get rid of Moore but if I did it this week I wouldn't play whoever I bought. So do it anyway so I have cover for any no shows, or save the trannie?
-
What's your budget. I have similar , but 4.2 mill is meh without Yun so considering just changing my Krul
-
4.8 Ben Davies?
-
-
Having a free transfer to get rid of an injured/rested big hitter could be far more useful than Alan Hutton or Wisdom coming off the bench
-
Same dilemma. Leaning towards saving and then bringing in Hutton or Clark for Moore unless something else piques my interest
-
May as well save and do it Boxing Day
-
I'd save the transfer unless price rises/falls would incapacitate you.
Although it depends how much i trust my conviction. I've often planned to do something boring the following GW, like fix my bench, but having 2 FTs to use means some other transfers will then look much more appealing and you won't get rid of Moore at all! -
Think I'll stick. Cheers all,Moore may even get rotated in 😉
-
-
Thoughts on Costa > Falcao ?
-
Benteke/Giroud more reliable options
-
-
Best 5.3 or under Mid? (all nailed)
1.Ki
2.jedinak
3.ameobi-
2, if only b/c he's on PK duties. Ki has played all games, so more likely to be rested. Ameobi ... meh
-
walters .
-
yep forgot about walter, good mention.
-
-
-
Any changes?
Hart
Azpilicueta, Clichy, Jagielka(bavies)
Siggy, Sanchez, hazard, downing, Mirallas
Bony, Austin, Costa -
With West Ham away to Chelsea, should we expect a repeat of last season's 19th century football style?
-
Hahahaha I remember when Mourinho said that, I almost died of laughter 😀
-
WHU is a different team, but I could see a little bus parking
-
-
Any word on Sigurdsson from Monk, or are we still clueless?
And also, after returning back to my usually way of picking an unsuccessful captain who do I opt for on Boxing Day?-
Sanchez is this weeks Austin
-
No and Sanchez he might be rested
-
So could many players. We do have vice captains too... If he's really got chronic fatigue as diagnosed by FFS
-
He was only rested last week ffs, bloody foreigners and their Winter breaks!
-
I was taking the p*ss when you said you usually get a captain fail so I posted the name of the player who everyone thinks will be rested 🙂 I was only trying to have a joke with you tbh . I agree with Flapjack its possible but nobody knows its up to Wenger
-
I was joking too by the way, but may still go for Alexis.
-
-
-
-
-
RVP again perhaps lol
-
Lol he only scores when I don't captain him 🙁
-
-
Hazard.
-
-
As a matter on interest , what device are you lads using to view this website ? Im on PC and i dont scroll through the pages like some of you , I just use the little chat bar thing at the side and whatever commet interests me , I click it 🙂
-
iPad mini 2
-
Me iphone. I just go to the latest page and blast away.
-
A potato
-
laptop
-
-
If only Sakho/Austin rotated nicely.
-
They do apart from next week but I fancy Austin v Arsenal
-
Austin has eleven goals and we're not half way through the season. I wouldn't rotate him.
-
-
Is there an optimum time for me to play my Jan WC considering I own Bony, Yaya and Yun? Or should I just take a few hits?
-
You gotta just play it by ear tbh, I'd prefer a minus 4 than an early wildcard. Still got my season long wc
-
Same here. Feels like it's wasting away though.
