QPR’s home hitman hogs the array of impressive numbers on show from the weekend, ably assisted by stellar showings from Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen. Elsewhere in our regular members’ statistical digest, we examine how Man City’s tactical tweaks influenced two of their key midfielders and analyse how a pair of returning United assets are hinting at major hauls as their minutes begin to build.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

What's the latest with Yun? It's nice having a £3.9 player on the bench if he's actually getting game time, especially over the holiday period. Any update on his ankle injury from last match?

And I'd favour Costa over Giroud. I think Costa is a season keeper, even if he misses one or two over the coming gameweeks.

Giroud will play against QPR. Costa will not play against West Ham.

with mid-range strikers like Giroud, Benteke, Carroll and Bony keeps theirs points ticking, I'm getting the feeling that Costa is slightly overpriced. Isn't having a chelsea defender over Costa a better option? Already have Hazard and Fab...

Good reasoning. I'm expecting Costa to keep up a steady flow of goals and occasionally score three or four. I think the pricing is fair, personally. I'd drop Fabregas and definitely have a Chelsea defender (Ivanovic is my preference). You could just wait until the wild card to reorganize the team. Giroud does look hungry at the moment, though...

I've always felt that Fab is very underrated in these parts. I've owned him since the beginning of the season, and he is very very consistent in returning points. He takes most corners and free-kicks for CFC, who have a lot of tall and strong players for winning headers. So whether Ivan, Cahill, Terry, Costa or Matic scores from headers, it'll be Fabregas delivering the assist 🙂

QPR on abit of a high, Arsenal's defence is shocking, bit of a London derby element to it, QPR could nick one.

But sure, guess it's safe to sit on the transfer.

Would like to swap out Rooney and use the funds to upgrade a mid to City coverage, but it is foolish to take him out with home fixture to Newcastle on the horizon?

Even with the possibility that he may not factor in any of the points..

His returns do not look promising after that display.

I've ditched him for Kane and wanyama for silva
Just couldn't get excited about his performance other day and he's too much money to be sat in midfield

I axed him last week for Austin. I had to ignore a lot of people telling me it was a mistake. Go with your gut.

Midfield. They are so wobbly at the back. Should have conceded at the weekend but for a dodgy decision.
