QPR’s home hitman hogs the array of impressive numbers on show from the weekend, ably assisted by stellar showings from Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen. Elsewhere in our regular members’ statistical digest, we examine how Man City’s tactical tweaks influenced two of their key midfielders and analyse how a pair of returning United assets are hinting at major hauls as their minutes begin to build.

Hi all,
Pick 1 from each group to score most points until the Wildcard!
1. Silva/Sterling/Siggy/
2. Baines/Zabaleta/ Clichy/
Baines, Cahill, Clyne, Wisdom, Naylor
Sanchez, Hazard, Downing, Siggy, Marney my current players-
1. Silva
2. Zabaleta
-
-
Rooney to Giroud.
Funds to upgrade mid.
Done.-
😯
You clearly didnt watch Newcastle defending yesterday -
Fix your link Scully.
-
How does it feel?
-
Awesome
-
-
-
Just seen 2pt Sanchez bah 🙁
Anyone captain him?-
Quite a few.
-
LOL
-
Still trying to get over it... need more ethanol
-
Christine has all sorts. On crack right now thanks to him/her
-
wtf is Christine? I thought I was the love of your life?
-
been cheating on your for two seasons now
-
😯
-
-
-
What are clyne owners doing now?
Great result, but Fixtures don't look amazing after palace-
Worth keeping if bought at 5.0
-
-
-
Give lad a break, he s a bit tired it seems
-
-
Morning! Any tips for this week welcome; I have £1.2m and 2FT...
Foster,
Chester, Chambers, Cahill
Hazard, Sanchez, Downing, YYT
Costa, Sakho, Austin
(Gilks, Siggy, S. Taylor, Cresswell)-
You need more City
-
-
How did sterling play?
-
Villa defence: Guzan or a defender (which one)
-
guzan. 3 points without CS. 7/8 points with CS.
-
what defender would be worth getting (if any..) hutton?
-
Can consider Vlaar now that he's back. But yea, would just get Hutton.
-
-
-
-
Patience with the early transfers I say. Now is not the time to make 0.1 rather to make sure said player is actually going to play.
-
Oops.
-
Problem is we're probably not going to know who'll be rested until we get the teamsheets
-
Worth hanging on just in case though for pressers etc.
-
-
That's why we own Boyd.
😉 -
-
-
I did Sanchez + Dummet -> Silva + Zabaleta yesterday.. bit afraid of Sanchez being rested next game.. and I have Giroud.. anyone done something similar?
-
good trade but sanchez may bite u back after this week
-
Yeah me too, hopefully it will be good transfer overall for the next 3-5 gameweeks and then I can do Yaya -> Sanchez/Walcott
-
I am too afraid he will bite me back I mean
-
I am also*, Jesus these christmasparties are not good for my english
-
-
-
-
do not worry about sanchez rotation, wenger has no other alternatives to him at the moment
-
Giroud should soften the blow. I'm sure you were aware of the risks. But Zaba a big enough upgrade from Dummet.
-
Hopefully! Zaba Terry Azpi Cresswell Wisdom.. too much money in def maybe!
-
-
Ya I don't think so either with Ramsey/Wilshere out. Plus like I stated earlier, he is going to want to play against Vargas/Isla (his Chilean teammates)
He told the Chilean media he was looking forward to that game, couple weeks back.-
I don't think he has anything in the tank. He was abysmal yesterday
-
-
-
A - Benteke & Siggy
B - Kane & Di Maria
C - Silva & Austin
Currently Benteke and Siggy.
Thoughts?-
C!
-
Another option is
Giroud in for benteke?
-
-
C
-
C
-
-
is there any chance we will now if sanchez is rested?
-
Yes
-
Now what?
-
know*
-
correct
-
-
so that we can sell 🙂
-
Ah right...will wonder be good enough to let us know?
Doubt it
-
-
-
-
Anyone know why Bony didn't play?
-
Rested
-
He did.
-
As evidenced by the 1 pointer 🙁
-
-
rested probably
-
People think Gomis is getting pitch time to get match fit until Bony goes off to acon in about 3 matches.
-
this makes sense
Get the team used to playing without him
-
-
-
siggy -> sterling and Baines -> clichy = -4
Do it?-
no way
-
i wouldn’t
-
-
Who do you think is the best captain option for the next GW?
-
Thinking maybe Giroud or Haz?
-
Haz
-
Giroud
-
Giroud
-
Would rather captain Kane over Giroud.
-
bad memories?
-
Yes. Quite frankly when did people start captaining Giroud and Lukaku?
Very retro. Will probably score v qpr but he's still not fit and will probably be rested the game after.
-
-
-
cheers all
i think Giroud followed closely by Hazard-
Wrong way around but your funeral
-
-
-
nanannaaaa nanananaaaa gruuuuuuuu
-
reply fail to Mookie 🙁
-
cheers i’m thinking the same, best fixture+form=©
-
-
-
Would you focus on getting ADM into this team or is it ok to go without United-players during christmas?
Panti
Zaba Terry Azpi
Hazard Yaya Silva Sterling
Bony Giroud Austin
Krul Downing Cresswell Wisdom-
no need for ADM in that team imo
-
good:)
-
-
-
please tell me
why jose fonte suspended? he just 3yc
thx-
2 yc from cup also I guess
-
-
One of my best weeks so far 🙂
Any changes you think for next Game week..
DeGea
Dummit Clichy Ap
YaYa Silva Downing Alex
Austin(Capt) Costa Rooney
A whooping 77 points so far
Sbs: Staylor, Hutton, Walters, Guzan-
Not captianing Austin for a start
-
Yaya to hazard
-
-
If you can have one liverpool player who would it be?
-
Sterling
-
none, rubbish at the back and wasteful up front
-
Sterlo
-
Sterling is the obvious answer, but Coutinho is taking very many shots.. IF Coutinho isn't the one to loose his place when Balotelli comes back I think he is a good choice too
-
None. Sterling if someone holds a gun at my head
-
Raheem
-
-
Anything urgent in this team or save my FT?
Hart Hamer
Baines Azpi Hutton Bertrand Duff
Siggy Haz Sanchez Nasri Downing
Costa Austin Bony
Thanks-
pretty jealous of these teams with good benches, I would save (unless Siggy is crocked for any length of time)
-
Cheers.
-
-
-
got £8.9 mil to blow 😎
A. Silva (got zabs)
B. Carzola (got Alexis)
C. Sterling (pray to God he starts to score)
what do you reckon? oh, & you can ask me whatever-
A easily
-
A
-
Between A and B for me, the fixtures and form makes it A imo.
-
A or C
-
Ive got an irrational urge to pick Sterling over Silva
-
haha, was what I planned last week. but Carzola's form is outstanding. I'm thinking Silva is a one off. everyone easily thinks A. I'll mull over it.
-
-
thanks guys.
-
A or C
-
A
-
-
For this Friday's games, taking a (-4) to remove Siggy and Lukaku to bring in :
1. Yaya + Kane, will then (c) Hazard home to WHU
or
2. Silva + Giroud, will then (c) Giroud home to QPR
If you had to pick one ? Thanks !-
B
-
A
-
Sorry, menar to write B
-
-
B for me
-
Thanks guys, looks like B it is !
-
Either but you must captain azard
-
-
You can tell it's last working days before Christmas.
FPL page jammed.
LoL. -
DDG (New H)
Clyne (CRY A) - Cissokho (SWA A) - Jagielka (STK H)
Fabregas (WHU H) - Yaya (WBA A) - Downing (CHE A) - Eriksen (Lei A)
Costa (WHU H ) - Lukaku (STK H) - Bony (AVL H)
Subs: McCarthy-King-Wisdom-Janmaat
Lukaku is the logical transfer, right? I got 1 free transfer and 1,2 mil in the bank so was thinking Lukaku > Giroud. Clyne got tough fixtures coming up, but decent this week so was thinking about shipping him away next week. Cissokho and Downing got tough fixtures this week, but decent coming up so don't feel any need to transfer them away.
Thanks for your opinions!-
Looks good
One of the few teams I've seen without Sanchez..
Transfer def makes sense
-
-
Team currently:
Elliot, Guzan
Hutton, Wisdom, Azpi, Dummett, Clichy
Sanchez, Downing, Yaya, Hazard, Mirallas
Costa, Bony, Austin
1ft and 1m ITB
Any better transfer than Mirallas to Cazorla? -
is bony to giroud next GW worth -4 hit?
-
no way
-
Probably not as bony has a good fixture too. Plus giroud's next two aren't so great.
-
i am so worried about bony's game time given that the african cup is coming closer & monk needs to get gomis in shape
-
I think he'll play Bony as much as possible until ACON.
-
-
-
-
Can't decide which new tech gadgets I want for Xmas.
Can't decide which restaurant to choose for Xmas.
Can't decide which transfers to waste my 2FT's on.
First World Problems.
Guzan
Baines, Chambers, Azpi
Fab, Sanchez, Yaya, Downing
Costa, Bony, Austin
Krul, Boyd, Hutton, Chester-
A) PS4
B) Home
C) Would take the chance to change Krul or get rid of Baines-
Might do Chester -> Ben Davies for when the TOT fixtures get juicy.
-
Chester has some good home games coming
-
When do the TOT fixtures get juicy though? Looks like a mixed bag to me, GW26 - GW33 they have a nice run, but only one decent home game between now and then I think.
-
-
-
Great team... Maybe use the opportunity to get rid of chester...or baines
Or perhaps get Kane for bony for spurs cov-
Chester has good fixtures and could be good differential even though Hull is a bit shite
-
Its hulls form that concerns me
-
who would u switch it at the same price range though? Not many options with that kinda fixtures
-
-
-
-
-
I maybe late to the party but is going for a big 5 in midfield right now the way to go? Simply asking because Rooney is rubbing me the wrong way.
-
I think so until jan wc
-
Absolutely
-
Just took a huge tumble and I don’t like it. Thanks guys.
-
-
Rooney rubbing anyone is a disturbing thought
-
never too late to join the party
Rooney playing deep is a big turn off
-
-
I have rvp captain for GW 18 .
is it a good a choice ?????-
Yeah
-
I think Rooney and RVP are great shouts for (c) vs leaky Newcastle defence
-
so I will give him the last chance this week .
-
good lad
-
Last chance? His last 5 scores are 10, 2, 13, 11, 2. If you've had him for those games he's done OK for you! He'll probably be my (C) for that game (I'm concerned about Sanchez gametime).
-
no I didn't I bought him GW 17 and put him cap but it was a disaster coz I have silva and Austin within my choice .
So I hope this GW will be better.
Sanchez Against Liverpool wasn't good at all, maybe will be rested.
-
-
-
-
-
UFPL: Who should I captain tonight: Hazard or Costa?
-
Costa imo.
-
-
This would be madness to do?
Rooney, Sanchez -> Rvp, Sterling-
Absolutely pointless yes.
-
how about rooney, siggy -> bony and sterling
-
Why sterling? Can you get silva instead? I'm probably getting Cazorla who is cheaper than sterling.
-
-
-
You need arsenal cover v QPR. Maybe leave it a week.
-
