QPR’s home hitman hogs the array of impressive numbers on show from the weekend, ably assisted by stellar showings from Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen. Elsewhere in our regular members’ statistical digest, we examine how Man City’s tactical tweaks influenced two of their key midfielders and analyse how a pair of returning United assets are hinting at major hauls as their minutes begin to build.

Play next game:
A) Jedinak SOU (H)
B) Bertrand CRY (A)-

Bertie.
-
Bertrand
-
-
RMT please, no United :/
Panti
Zaba terry azpi
Haz Sterling yaya silva
Giroud bony austin
Krul downing cresswell wisdom-
It's fine, move on.
-
Nice
-
-
Lukaku ---> Benteke or Giroud? (For free)
-
Benteke. Only owned by 1.0% of people. Good captain choice.
-
Giroud for me. Rare that Benteke scores more than 1 goal when he does score.
-
I have Lulalu and will do Benteke, but i'm thinking of waiting after this GW. No?
-
-
I'm worried my team is looking deceptively good and I'm about to enter free fall.
-
There are some odd fixtures coming up! Don't be top confident haha
-
I mean the opposite! Sanchez, Siggy etc
-
Oh right! Yeah of course
-
-
-
I hate it when I'm very happy with my team. Easy to be disappointed then ha
-
-
RMT guys
Guzan
Zabaleta, Azpili, Taylor
Hazard, Fab, Silva, ADM, Sanchez
Austin, Kane
Hamer, Bony, Hutton, Duff
When is Bony leaving for African Cup? Who would I bring in for Bony?
Suggestions? Any way to improve the team? i know my forward sucks-
It looks like a great team to me - I would do Giroud or Benteke at the same amount of money. Your mid's look perfect.
-
-
I have Foster and Gilks at the moment.
Do you think it's worth taking a hit to do Gilks to Pantilimon?-
No
-
just no
-
-
Was there any news on Sigurdssons injury yet? Trying to decide if it's worth transferring him out for -4?
-
What move would you make this week?
Hart 4.0
Demichelis, Ivan, Baines, Hutton, duff
Sanchez, hazard, eriksen, Downing, Boyd
Sakho, bony, Costa
I'm thinking Eriksen to Silva to get some attacking city points. He'll be a false 9 until January wildcard...
Then do sakho to Austin next week
Do you guys think they are good moves? -
I can only do this transfer tonight (because of priçe rises).
Good moves?
Yaya & Siggy > Eriksen & Silva-
Oh and its for -4
-
i don't think so
-
No
-
But none of them are rising or falling according to fiso. Or am I/fiso mistaken?
-
Ah you are right.
-
-
Why would you sell Yaya? He's also on pens.
-
Silva looked a lot more threatening and Eriksen looks an almost must own player. I think I might just wait a gameweek and swap out Baines to raise the cash to bring in Eriksen.
-
I agree with Silva but keep Yaya as well - i would double on city and keep both Yaya and Silva if you can.
-
I already have Demechellis, Clichy and Yaya.
-
Hmm.. That changes it.. I would sell Clichy as it's more likely for Kolarov to play. At best 50-50
-
-
-
regarding Eriksen I don't agree.. I have Alexis, Hazard, Yaya, Oscar, Boyd and I might do Oscar > Silva after this week.
-
-
-
-
One goal for Haz tomorrow please. Make my non Austin captain choice just that little bit easier to live with....
-
is coutinho likely to get 90 minutes from now on ?
-
If you're thinking about getting him, look at the shots he had today. That should convince you not to 😉
-
-
how the hell did Southampton not get a peno for jags kicking long. one of the worst decisions i've ever seen. lucky it didn't matter to result
-
Is it worth doing siggy to downing for free even though they play Chelsea?
-
Nope
-
i'm waiting a week
-
Wait for news on Siggy but for the moment no.
-
Cheers guys
-
How much have you
-
-
Heaton
Clichy Chambers Azpil
Yaya Hazard (c) Sanchez Siggy
Austin RvP Bony
Wisdom Hutton Marney
0.5 itb 1FT
At a loss for transfers to make. any suggestions?-
Maybe lose siggy if he's injured
-
Replacement? Not many good options in that price range
-
Or go Milner as a punt
-
Or Lamps. Risky with rotation though
-
-
-
-
I'd hold for now.
-
-
What changes are needed? 1 FT and 0.8 ITB
Guzan
Baines - Apzi - Zabaleta
Hazard - Sanchez - Downing - Siggy
Rooney - Costa - Austin
Myhil - Boyd - N.Taylor - Moore-
exact same team as mine , but i have bony for costa and only have .7 ITB ffs
-
I was lucky enough to jump on the price rises at the right times
-
-
save ft easy
-
Cheers
-
-
-
Best Transfer in the long term for my side?
Guzan (Elliott)
Zabaleta, Bertrand, Azpil (Naylor, Dawson)
Sanchez, Boyd, Downing, Hazard (Cork)
RVP, Austin, Costa
1FT, 0.4itb
Was thinking of doing a boring move of my 5th mid to a playing one like Sanchez of Villa to cover any rested players but that seems awful.-
Don't need to think long term just till jan wc and with that in mind downgrade Costa to Kane/Bony and upgrade Boyd to Silva/Yaya
-
Want to WC the last possible week.
-
-
-
If I buy Sterling and ADM for Yaya and Barkley I would have this team
Foster
Baines Azpi Clichy (Dummet Bartley)
ADM Sterling Sigg Hazard Eriksen
Costa Giroud (Kane)
Next round my move would be:
Giroud & Sigg -> Austin & Silva (-4)
With the fixtures in mind, would this be an alright move?-
With the fixtures in mind, as you say, I would not transfer out Yaya!
-
I get your point, but WBA away ain't very easy. Silva in next round for Burnley and Sunderland..
Also, Yaya is only a yellow card away from suspension.
-
-
-
Is the "never take a hit for a defender rule" justified if the player you're bringing in is Zabaleta this week? He'll score goals, of that I have no doubt.
-
There are no rules.
I took out Clyne and Bertand for a -8 a few weeks ago, and that payed me back instantly. -
bookies don't agree, he is 6/1 to score anytime and 70/1 for 2 or more
-
for the next three games though..
-
might not play them all, not worth a hit imo
-
True.
-
-
-
-
No, the only time you take a hit for a defender is when you can't start 3, then it's like a -2.
-
Rubbish rule at the best of times.
-
-
Downing (che)
or
Bertrand (cry) ?-
Bertie
-
Tempted! Feels unusual backing a defender over a midfielder though.
-
Playing LM/LW perhaps
-
That is a good point.
-
He has CS potential and nearly scored against Everton.
Downing will be pinned down doing defensive duties.
Easy decision playing Bertie imho-
I've altered next week's lineup just now with all this in mind. My thanks.
-
No problem 🙂
-
-
-
-
-
-
Bertie.
-
Same dilemma with Clyne. Think gonna leave Downing out for a week.
-
Betrand it would seem to be!
-
-
Any help would be really appreciated. Literally at my wit's end on how to use my FT...
Begovic McCarthy
Baines Azpi Clyne Naylor (Moore)
Hazard Siggy Yaya (Downing, Boyd)
Costa Bony Benteke
1.5m itb, 1 FT. Maybe Clyne > Zab? Or take a hit to get ADM?-
I'd be happy with Clyne > Zabaleta myself. Wouldn't be the worst thing saving it however, giving you two much more quickly than usual and at a vital time.
-
My midfield feels very light with doubts over Siggy and Downing having a crap fixture. Don't know how to remedy that though.
Thanks-
All the reports I've heard myself suggest Siggy was only just ruled out of this weekend, I think he has a good chance of a quick turn around and a start on 26th. You have bench cover if the worst happens, but perhaps Siggy > Sterling if the budget allows? If not maybe look for Milner for the short term,
-
Those being if Siggy is out.
-
thanks mate
-
-
-
-
-
I'm waiting for news on Siggy, hoping it was just precautionary. If fit id save.
-
thanks
-
-
Siggy to Liverpool player asap.
-
Which Liverpool player is that?
-
This is bad advice. Tut
-
-
-
My team:
Guzan Foster
Baines Azpi Dummett Hutton Moore
Hazard Yaya Sanchez Downing Boyd
Costa Austin Bony
2FT / 0.2 ITB
Foster/Baines/Downing --> 4.0/O'Shea/ADM, Yay or Nay? -
Would you
A. do Siggy to Silva and play Austin.
B. do Boyd to Silva and go 352, bench Austin.-
B
-
B sounds good for insurance purposes or it could just be points on the bench. I would do A
-
Depends how long sigh is out for
-
Sig*
-
Under the assumption that Siggy is likely to be okay for the Villa match, which would you do? Obviously if he's out I will do A
-
b for sure. It's what I'm likely to do!
-
-
-
At this time of year I;d be tempted to say whichever gives you the stronger bench.
-
If you dont do A, your tv could get crushed. Monitor his price closely
-
-
Team a)
Guzan panty
Zaba azpi debuchy (wisdom yun)
Hazard sanchez eriksen downing (boyd)

Team b)
Guzan panty

Why don't you:
A. Debuchy, Boyd, RVP
B. Baines, ADM, Kane
easier to read. See? -
B all day
-
-
what do u think guys of siggy and marney (4th and 5th mids) to downing and milner for free.
next week bony to austin-
Yes
-
-
Sigurdsson to ADM -4?
-
Probably not
-
What is your other transfer?
-
I sold Rooney for Giroud. Had Rooney captain and was painful watching the game
-
Fair enough.
I really don't understand that transfer bug good luck.-
*but
-
Cheers
-
-
-
-
-
-
Rooney and Yun > Giroud and Zabaleta for free?
-
yes
-
I'd do this
-
No way
-
Tekkers > Donkey
-
Yeah thinking about him as well. Might get him the following week after swansea away.
-
-
Definitely
-
Yep
-
Thanks, looks like it's a goer!
-
-
This is my team
Guzan
Azpili, Zabaleta, Taylor
Hazard, Fabregas, Sanchez, ADM, Silva
Bony, Kane
Hamer, Austin, Duff, Hutton
Over the course of three weeks:
1. Guzan to Forster
2. Silva to Boyd
3. Bony to Aguero (Bony will be off to African's Cup and hopefully Aguero would be fit by then)
Any way to improve my team?-
My final team
Forster
Azpili, Zaba, Taylor
Hazard, Fab, Sanchez, ADM
Aguero, Austin, Kane
Hamer, Duff, Hutton, Boyd-
Aguero?!?
-
yupp
-
-
-
-
Can see a super low GW incoming!
If I do siggy --> silva on a free I would have the front 8 of:
Sanchez fab oscar silva downing
Austin Lukaku bony
Thoughts on that transfer? -
Giroud or benteke?
-
I think I prefer Giroud purely because he plays for Arsenal.
-
-
Hart
Baines Ivan Chambers
Haz Sanchez Siggy Downing
Costa Lukaku Austin
Elliot / Ameobi Wisdom Duff
Good to save transfer this week or would you do Lukaku > Giroud / Benteke?
