So I should be through to the paddy power FFS cup round 6 unless sterling gets -1 or less...

      Congrats!
I'm depending on Siggy to outscore 4 + Taylor.
      It'll be sad to go.

Worst score of the season with 25 (Zaba 0, Dummett 0, Yaya captain, Austin VC).

Just lucky I switched from Forster to Hamer (8pts) at 11.29 this morning.

I assume everyone has had a shocker, though 😉

    @Demi

Do you really think Sanchez will be a must-have come February if Walcott is back?

    1. Demí
      • 14 Years
      10 years, 11 months ago

I know Sanchez will keep scoring just as he's doing so far. If so, the question will be whether to get him and Walcott or just him. Can't really tell when Walcott will be back to 100% fitness, but the money saved would come in handy. Just much easier to trust Sanchez and i think he'll be more nailed on too.

I had a mess around before, I was trying to find a way to get Sturridge as I plan a late wc.

It's basically impossible to have all of Sanchez, Hazard, Aguero and Sturridge

    Which one:

    A. Yaya/Eriksen > Sterling (c) (and play Wisdom (whu)) (Boyd comes in if yaya doesn't play)

    B. Yun > Liverpool def (except skrtel), Kelly, collocini (and play yaya and eriksen, Boyd comes in of yaya doesn't play )

      My working assumption is no.

No Premier League games for 10 days after that and Spurs away is a pretty big / tricky game. Surely first choice XI?

Surely a shadow XI can take care of Watford at home - the likes of Luis, Zouma, Remy, Drogba, Schurlle, Mikel, Salah, Etc

To buy Silva or not to buy Silva?

Pros: On form, clinical finishing, rising in price, nice fixture next gameweek
Cons: Unsustainable goal scoring output, Jovetic pushing him deeper, couple of tough fixtures on the horizon (and, for me, buying Silva would require a hit)

    Costa, Rooney, Austin

I probably won't have fabregas and may well stick with Siggy in the mid too.

Obviously he hasn't exploded. The point is he can and probably will, a class act.

Well he didn't become a £25m player by playing like Carlton Cole.

Thats the value you give. I say he's more 12mill

Bony is a 25-30 million striker.

No-one from Villa is droppable unless you mean from the Villa team itself.

He is a great combination of characteristics, strong and physical, pacey enough and clinical.
It just doesn't convert into points a lot of the time.

Because he has looked awesome since returning from. His ban. He is getting plenty of chances when villa keep 11 men on the pitch.

Probably Skrtel if he doesn't pick up that 5th booking tomorrow. Caulker/Clark if you can use the extra money elsewhere.

    Guzan
    Zaba, Azpi, Chambers
    Yaya, Sanchez (C), Hazard, Downing
    Costa, Austin, Benteke

    (Jakupovic, Hutton, Boyd, Wisdom)

    £1.3m and 2FTs

Worried I have TRIPLE(?!) Villa, and want to get rid of Yaya and Chambers too.

Yaya to Silva and Chambers to..?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

    Which?

    A. Yaya/Eriksen > Sterling (c) and play Wisdom (whu)

    B. Yun > Liverpool defence, then captain Jovetic and play yaya and eriksen (Boyd comes in incase of yaya no show)

Need opinion on who to bench :-

    Foster | Pantilimon
    Skrtel | Baines | Clichy | Hutton | Naylor
    Sterling | Hazard | Silva | Sanchez | Siggy
    Costa | Austin | Kane

Pantilimon & Kane are the obvious two. Still need to bench two more.

    Cheers.

As a benteke owner I feel seriously aggrieved at the officials decisions in all f the recent reds for Villa. They are far from a dirty team yet the refs have been reaching for the reds so quick it sees they are not even giving themselves time to review their decision before administering the punishment.

Relax, most of us got a low score tonight, so we won't loose that much ground to the risers. Keep faith in your teams and consider carefully which move to make 🙂

Zab cut his head today. Would a thing like that be used as an excuse to rest him vs Sunderland for Sagna?

Skrtel cut his head at Arsenal and didn't miss a game, was bandaged up at Burnley. It's not a game missing injury.
