What inspired this change? Especially surprising because i remember you being a very conservative player..with great success.
This season i have really toned down the hits and am sitting quite well at 6.9k..just shows many ways to play this game-

What inspired me?
Good question! Last year, I was struggling to break into the top 100k. For the last 8 gwks, I decided to be more aggresive with my trades and as a result, I got to 72k. My highest pts total but my worst rank as in keeping with many.
This season, I have decided to pursue the same strategy only if I feel the trade is worth it as I generally am pretty good at picking the right players imho. At present, it seems to be worth it. Now I need to kick on and see what happens in the second half of the season. Still have first wc to play too.

last season was feckin weird wasn't it? i remember after a long and treacherous climb i finally made it to about 30k fairly late in the season then i got killed when i bought in ince's and adams etc trying to cash in on dgw. kept falling and ended up outside the 100k 😕
Yeah your tactic seems to be working and it looks like a hell of a lot of fun aswell. if you have that ability to pick the players at the right times hits can pay off very very fast.
ta mate, would take a top 1k finish very happily but aiming high is the best way to finish high.

Just got Jovetic in as a short term punt, considering I got Dzeko in for his warm-up injury, this might be a disaster waiting to happen. Kudos!

Decent option, I'm avoiding a City double up (e.g. Yaya/Silva and Jov) and he is injury prone.
