What inspired me?
Good question! Last year, I was struggling to break into the top 100k. For the last 8 gwks, I decided to be more aggresive with my trades and as a result, I got to 72k. My highest pts total but my worst rank as in keeping with many.
This season, I have decided to pursue the same strategy only if I feel the trade is worth it as I generally am pretty good at picking the right players imho. At present, it seems to be worth it. Now I need to kick on and see what happens in the second half of the season. Still have first wc to play too.
Good luck with your season and you should be aiming for the top 50.last season was feckin weird wasn't it? i remember after a long and treacherous climb i finally made it to about 30k fairly late in the season then i got killed when i bought in ince's and adams etc trying to cash in on dgw. kept falling and ended up outside the 100k 😕
Yeah your tactic seems to be working and it looks like a hell of a lot of fun aswell. if you have that ability to pick the players at the right times hits can pay off very very fast.
