Granville and I make a New Year return to the ScoutCast studio, battered and bruised by the events of Gameweek 20 which saw us both inexplicably bench Harry Kane and his 18-point haul.

Having wasted our big differential and haunted by constant reminders, my co-host and I struggle to make a recovery. Spitting the pips from our sour grapes, we do our best to justify our doomed decision-making, before attempting to salve the wounds with talk of the Winter Wildcard refresh around the usual batch of regulars.

      i am having exact same dilemma, a) more balanced with the D while b) has a stunning frontline

      it really comes down to how much more worth it is costa over giroud/pelle

      and if terry is really worth the extra funds over cheaper rotating defenders

      im stuck at the moment too but i am leaning towards B and gambling on cheap defenders continuing to provide pretty decent value

        Can't make up my mind.....I reckon chadli just going thru good spell of form and may be benched in month or so....while eriksen more likely to play every game and be more consistent...agree with that?

          Chadli can perform at high levels but he never had proper consistency. He's showing a lot more of it at the moment so this might be his time. Might. This is why it's risky. Are you punting anywhere else in your team?

    While playing Fifa Manager mode against Aston Villa (world class), the opponent received two red cards. I think that's the first time that's ever happened in my Fifa playing career that the computer did that. Against this particular opponent, however, I feel like this is quite accurate and mirrors their real-life performances.

    Evening all... Hastily hit the WC after 3 poor weeks that saw me slip badly..

    Would reallylove somecritism/advice on my team.

    Keeping 4.8 ITB for Aguero and to upgrade where need be (thinking Eriksen to Wally in the coming weeks) I had just 105m to play with sadly.

      Duff and Bruce are far from nailed on and wouldn't want to be playing Wasilewski every week, get Mannone over Harper upgrade Duff to Hutton if possible, I would downgrade Giroud to Austin/Ings your defence really is suffering

    WC question. FPL says WC can be used from GW20 until GW 23 ends (7th Feb 11.30am).

    So will we be able to use it up until GW24 starts?

    I wondered if they consider the GW to 'end' after the last game of the game week ie Sun/Mon/Wed or the GW is officially over when the new GW starts.

    Hope that makes sense. 🙂

    Ultimately when does the WC disappear?
