Half-season memberships to Fantasy Football Scout are now available. You can sign up or upgrade your account for the rest of the season for just £10, which will give access to the Members Area and all Members content up until June 1 2015.

If you’ve already got a “Free” account, you can upgrade to a Member via this link. If you’ve yet to register an account with us, you can use this link to register as a member. Payments can be made via Paypal or Stripe with any Credit Card.

      Exactly.

      The high price picks that don't look like much value when presented as ppg in relation to £m spent.

      I just think that was used to demonstrate Costa as bad value but it showed your argument to be flawed as it showed the likes of Fabregas and Hazard to be also be bad value in relation to defenders.

      And as I pointed out Agüero.

        But they are all higher than Costa ...

        Perhaps it is best to go on average PPG for your team then?

        Aguero, Sanchez, Hazard, Silva, Fabregas all have higher PPG.

        Aguero is...Aguero.
        Austin is 0.1 lower than Costa - and therefore should definitely stay on a value basis,
        Kane is 0.6 lower, but since becoming nailed is 6.7 (higher than Aguero) and therefore should definitely stay.

        So that is why Costa goes...

          What has to be considered thou is the analysis of last data is just that.

          At one stage Costa was the better captain pick, and Hazard was dirt everyone wanted rid of, and Fabregas only assisted so was useless (not my opinion), then Hazard became the better captain pick, at one stage Terry was useless, then he scored 3 in 4 games.

          Its swings and roundabouts, past data is no guarantee of future performance and all that.

          Things change, this week Costa was the better captain for example. Between the two.

    At this rate, Costa has to score 15 goals more only to reach 200 FPL points
    Not saying that he will miss 2 games minimum for the suspension (7yc atm).
