In a season where a number of budget forwards have more than held their own with premium-priced alternatives, QPR’s Charlie Austin has arguably been the pick of the bunch. Still kindly priced at 6.5 in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game, he sits second amongst strikers on 109 points, sandwiched in between big-hitting pair Diego Costa and Sergio Aguero on the back of 13 goals and a trio of assists in just 20 top-flight appearances.

Over the last four Gameweeks, however, Austin’s Fantasy returns have afforded his owners cause for concern. The R’s top scorer has struck just once from Gameweek 19 onwards – compared to five strikes in his previous four appearances – and with plenty of similarly priced options jostling for our attentions, we delve into the data to assess Austin’s recent displays, comparing them to both his previous performances and fellow forwards alike.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Not sure he's worth an upgrade to Kane for. Happy with Costa & Aguero as my other two strikers.

        Yup. Thinking of doing:

        Di Maria>Silva
        Cazorla>Oscar

for a hit! Or keeping either of them depending how they do.

Keep an eye on whether Silva reverts back to a wide-ish position in a 4222. Oscar, Cazorla or Eriksen may be the better bets.

I know. However to make it happen I'd have to rely upon Bellerin.

Essentially I have both Ivanovic and Terry right now and one would have to become Bellerin. I'd do it if Bellerin was a sureshot starter but waiting a week seems to be the best for now, correct?

Definitely. Oscar has only missed four games this season..if you had a fifth mid who only got two points for each of those four games he missed as his deputy then that FPL spot would have yielded nearly as much as Cesc...and a lot cheaper.

How nailed on is Caz over the next few GWs?
Doubt Wenger can keep Ozil on the bench for too long, now that he's back from injury.
Arsenal have at least 5 quality players to fight for 3 spots behind the striker.
If we agree Sanchez is nailed, then Cazorla, Ozil, Ox, Walcott to fit the remaining 2 places.
    There will defo be rotation.

Both are great... I'd prefer Oscar to Fabregas in A, but B still clinches it as that's my front 8 if I do ADM > Cazorla!

Team A doesn't really have a benching option. Not one you'd feel happy with, anyway.

Someone wrecked my team with WC last week and got me the biggest red arrow of the season. Now I have to start digging out of the hole.

    Forster
    Terry, Gardos, PVA
    ADM Chadli Hazard Sanchez
    Aguero Kane Austin
Bench: Wisdom, Cameron, Boyd, Gilks. 3.8 ITB. 1FT

    Step 1 to fixing is:
    A) Austin -> Giroud

I'll probably remember mine for a while, going for JT over Azpi (when everyone was getting him) in GW14. I thought I had made the wrong decision when Azpi got 12 points at home to Spurs but JT soon returned back to back 15 point hauls.

yeah tough call, i'd be inclined towards cazorla and elia (as I already have costa and hazard).

would you upgrade elia to hendo and downgrade your fifth mid to albrighton?

No. Albrighton won't even play. For the money you can't buy much. Puncheon is a good option though.

I think my pre-WC punt is decided now. It was between ADM and Cazorla with me leaning towards ADM.

Of course. I only heard reports but they said he was all over the place. Cambridge keeper must have been superb.

Differential team what do ye think?

    Krul, Hamer
    Terry, Koscielny, Wollscheid, Pva, Baird
    Sanchez, Hazard, AJ, Puncheon, Lucas
    Aguero, Falcao, Costa ?

Either Krul/Kos or Foster/Clyne or Jones and upgrade Aj

The Cheap Southampton mid is better than Lucas.
Not sure on AJ, could be better as Moses or downgrading Facao to turn AJ into Oscar/Cazorla.

According to some rumors from Italy Mancini would like to have Yaya at Inter in the summer. He gets paid waaaayy too much for Inter so i hope it's just BS.

I had Begovic start of the season. Was the worst FPL buy of all time. I feel like Stoke spit on you, time and time again.
