Alright fellow DZers, it's been 5 weeks and 5 red arrows, I'm hemorrhaging and have tumbled out of the top 10k. What is wrong with this team?

    Pantilimon Foster
    Wisdom Bellerin Hutton Rose Bertrand
    Sanchez Hazard Fabregas Chadli Boyd
    Kane Aguero Giroud
    2.3 itb

Winter Wildcard has been used, but I have my season Wildcard left. I'm thinking Rose to Terry, and if Fab is still hurt next week, I'll pick up Sterling. Any other pressing issues?

    1. Walsh
      11 years, 9 months ago

Not really much. Defense is a little light, but it's a fine enough team.

How did ADM do yesterday in general?

Original plan was to downgrade next week but the Costa suspension has forced a bit of a rethink on priorities.
His assist enough to warrant a hold?

    1. Bull
      11 years, 9 months ago

Didn't see the game myself, but the consensus I gathered from the comments here was that he didn't look threatening and was lucky to come away with an assist.

    2. Timtastic03

Missed from 6 yards out, wasn't bad tbh

    3. Nickofoz
      11 years, 9 months ago

Hold for now, looked relatively threatening with his quick runs forward. Could/should have had a goal as well.

    4.8 on a 5th mid for a WC.

    Colback, JWP, Boyd or other?

      Colback for sure.

Think Newcastle will turn the corner and for me, that means I would choose Colback.

He's on set pieces. And not only that. Seems like a better player in a better team.

      How about Ireland?

With Bojan out Hughes needs someone for the number 10 role and played him in the same role years ago at City

I see no reason not to use your January WC this week, even if it's just to make 2 or 3 changes.

    @Sanchez

Absolutely Lewandowski was that important. Along with Goetze. Two of the top talents in Europe gone to their rivals. Struggling to replace them and struggling to keep their chins up.

    1. Timtastic03
      11 years, 9 months ago

Not something that should take them from 2nd to 20th though

      1. Walsh

        Precisely this.

      2. Not Irish
        11 years, 9 months ago

They won't finish there either. Klopp has a bit of Wenger in him though. Going for Immobile to replace Lewandowski can't be characterized as anything other than madness.

No way he was THAT important.
Suarez was even more important for Liverpool and they are not bottom of the table after losing him.

Again, they won't finish bottom. But goals change games you know.

Probably not. But how can you sell him after hatty.

      1. The Quiff

True. He's helped me to only my 2nd "good" GW of the season. Now, if only I'd captained him like I almost did...

        1. Mile Plankton - Myth and Ch…
          11 years, 9 months ago

Well, you can't have everything. With that ownership, just having him is quite enough.

Happy enough. Was 50-50 between him and Moses. Would've been the continuation of the story of my season if I'd gone for Moses instead.

            1. Timtastic03
              11 years, 9 months ago

I don't think a double up is an issue unless it's 2 defenders. No reason to not play both for a good fixture and only 1 defender to bench if it's a bad one. Toby is still a 3rd premium and forces you to keep downing

              1. ILOVEBAPS
                11 years, 9 months ago

Jose brought Varane into the RM team at age 20 (same as Zouma) and played him quite regularly much to everyone's surprise.

Zouma can also play RB. I suspect he'll get a fair few games. But if Cahill rediscovers his best form then he'll get the spot back.

    How did Sergio look DZ'ers?

The game was at 430am here and I managed about 15 minutes...

Anonymous. Not match fit. Was lucky to get an assist from a shot that was going well wide.

In fairness, and more likely an indictment on how impotent City looked threatening Chelsea's goal, he did have their three best chances in the game.

I was at the game and am going on what I saw.

I remember him having two decent chances and pulling both shots wide. A match fit Aguero would have hit the target both times.

        Thanks guys. Good to know.

Of course, it will always be hard at The Bridge. Well, in the prem anyway!

I didn't expect him to necessarily come back firing, even though he has done it before. I've escaped any damage so far, but HULL is a worry...

Nowhere near his best. Though the fixtures are still tempting.

Cheers ILF. You're right. I think that I'd like to see some sign of form at that price though. Cue the hatty!

Not at his best. Missed a sitter alone with Curtoius. But Chelsea parked the buss so it was not an easy game for City.

Hopefuly stays under the radar and grabbs a hat trick against Hull.

Morning gents. How goes it? I already own him and I say most do now too but Kane on pens is surely a must have right?

    1. Walsh

He's third choice behind Soldado and Townsend.

Sorry for the late response, great to hear man, we've missed your good rank around these parts 😉 I've been good mate, finally having a good GW and have manged to scrape by into the 50k zone. How was your GW?

Yeah pretty decent so far. Terry the only one who didnt deliver me any extra points. Giroud Captain so if he delivers will be set for a good GW but knowing my luck I'll have captained the one player who didnt deliver lol

I don't care if you're no 1, or no 1,000,000, when you buy Jon Walters, a piece of your fantasy football soul dies.

    1. Walsh
      11 years, 9 months ago

Would have happily given over a piece of my fantasy football soul for those points instead the one that Victor Moses treated me to. Happily would have done, I say.

FFPS didn't have AdM to rise only out of those, had Caz instead
They had Fab, Sanchez, and Wanyama falling

      FFFix had only Hazard rising
Begovic, Gilks, Wanyama, Fab, and Sanchez falling

    5. Ruth_NZ

Fabregas now the same price as ADM. Could be useful later on.
