Naughton is the best choice then? I was tempting on Alder, if he's fit.
Naghton is nalied on imo and easier to bench as you'll play JT and Fonte most GWs. Toby is great value but I think he'll be eased in even if he's finally fit since he's out for so long. Consider Krul/Haidara too since you have no NEW for this plum fixture.

I reckon that only applies when there usa clear standout option for that week. Like Kun in an easy home fixture. Otherwise feel free to take a punt on your captain imo. Can make up ground really quick if it pulls off.

Nicely played, well done. But that week CHE and ARS played away, and Kun was still injured. Very good consideration that time, especially if you're chasing the pack.
Point taken. But then I feel close to 50-60% of people are going to captain Kun (and maybe another 40% for an ARS player), so I wouldn't gamble to be so different. But like i said to Innsie, depends on one's rank and strategy perhaps.

Seen a few anti-Austin posts so thought I would give my $0.02. I am a Giroud owner, by the way. Austin would (probably will 😉 ) be his replacement.
- Austin is on pens, is the main man (and has a very high % involvement in goals) for QPR
- He is also playing for a contract (deserves to stay in the BPL if QPR get relegated, which it looks like they will, so he'll be eager to show this)
- The two teams he plays have a large fixture build up before their games, whereas he will have had one and a half weeks rest
- Arsenal tend to concede a lot away from home, and Spurs hardly keep clean sheets at all
- He gets bonus when he scores
- His fixtures after the DGW are cry, EVE, wba, CHE, avl, WHM all of which a profitable, except for the chelsea game you could say. So he is worth holding on to.
Of course, he has his downsides to.
- Plays for QPR
- People may not want to use a transfer to get rid of Giroud or Defoe
- Returning from injury
- For those who don't save this week he he may not be worth a hit
For me, though, the benefits far outweight the negatives for me. Giroud has done me well so far but there are so many possibly scorers in the Arsenal team, plus with a large fixture build up (see above) he could be rotated with Welbeck/Sanchez and possibly Walcott.Let's do this! 😀

Good comments in there, Austin certainly has advantages but not sure I can see him keeping a place in the front three long-term with the big hitters normally showing form at the end of the season.

With the template mids all have great fixtures in GW28 I doubt you will use Philips.
Currently have 2 weak spot in midfield, Amoebi and Gil(due to Kun-Costa-Sturridge upfront 😡 ). I'll be dowgrading Costa to Kane, Amoebi to Phillips and bench Gil. After that week, Gil to some premium midfielder.
The problem is THIS week is the week sh*t needs to be sorted.
If I take out Oscar and Costa for hit, can field a decent side.
