In an attempt to outfox Paddy this week, we’ve backed Manchester City’s elusive playmaker, Burnley’s talismanic striker and Newcastle’s top scorer to find their range this weekend.

Newcastle’s home clash against Aston Villa has us eyeing up Senegalese forward Papiss Cisse in our first wager of the week. The rangy frontman has recorded six goals in his last ten outings, scoring on average every 84 minutes. Moreover, Cisse has notched three braces so far this term, of which two were achieved in second-half cameos. As such, we think Paddy’s 10/1 odds on Cisse to score two or more goals against Tim Sherwood’s side are worthy of our first £3 investment.

We’re putting faith in Danny Ings to spark a Burnley win on Saturday as they host Swansea City at Turf Moor. Ings has been a revelation for the Clarets and approaches this fixture in great shape, having tallied five goals in their previous seven matches. The fact he’s scored in each of Burnley’s last three home clashes gives us further reason to part with another £3 and snap up Paddy’s 9/1 offer on Ings to score two or more goals against Swansea.

Our last, and favourite, bet this week has us backing David Silva to build upon last weekend’s brace and deliver a dominant performance at Anfield. The Spanish midfielder has netted three times in his previous four outings and proved his capacity to influence big matches with his goal at Stamford Bridge last month. With the 29-year-old in such fine form, we’re happy to take up Paddy’s 11/4 offer on Silva to score against Liverpool and hand over our remaining £4.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up on this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Setanta funded Scottish footballs over spending era that resulted in Rangers getting too many ideas and going to the wall later on.

        I love Setanta. 😀

    Hi guys,

Playing in a keeper league, when someone has a player no one else can select him.

Might therefore have to make some transfers immediately after the deadline, how does this look?

Thinking - Ayoze, Mane and Was -> Austin, 4.8 and Rose (-8). Kane is taken

Depends how much of a difference -8 points makes in a league like that. I quite like it though if the double counts

Why all the Walters love? He has only scored in 1 game in his last 11. (Yes, I know it was a hat trick)

Decent fixture. I'd rather have Moses I think, with or without pens

    Have 9 starters, 2.4m itb, 2FTS

Like to have 2FTs next DGW, so this week do I:

    A. Hamer >Krul, Foster
    B. Wisdom >Wolls (also have PVA on bench)
    C. Both (and take a hit next week)

    Thoughts?

Although a hit next week won't be so bad

I support Liverpool so cannot captain Aguero this week.

    Sanchez or ADM instead?

I'm going Sanchez, partially because of the Liverpool supporter thing, partially because it's the last match of the GW.

Sanchez was my option before the 120 mins in Istanbul and I can't see City repeat the embarassing game against Barca again too soon, so Aguero is my first choice (Liverpool fan too + Moreno owner) 😀 Good Luck!
