spurs have 3 games in 6 days including a cup final. it's fairly likely they're going to try and rotate a bit. lloris and kane are about the only safe options for starts. austin is the only viable QPR option, but you'd need to sell a striker. mine would be giroud who plays QPR so would be mad to sell. boils down to only having kane for me. fek the DGW 🙂
My logic is that I rarely want more than 1 Spurs player, no reason for that to change just for the sake of a dgw. Austin can come in for me because Defoe is a disaster.
And if you own Giroud-what would you do?

They've basically been scoring the same all season. There's almost nothing to split them in terms of FPL points.
You'd never consider not captaining Aguero in that fixture so not sure why you would Kane!but like I said, Aguero is a much, much, much better player playing in a much better team against a worse opponent

one pro in the Kane column (btw I haven't settled at all on cap but it'll probably be Kane or Eriksen) is that he's likely to get closer to 180 minutes than Aguero is to get 90 with Barca the following week and it only being Leicester at home

Kane is a good young player who has been lucky to have scored so many goals. He's had one of those purple patches where everything he does works. So many of his goals have been from outside the area / on the edge of the box. That doesn't last forever for any player.
Aguero is a proven world class striker playing for a team that creates nearly twice as many chances per game as Spurs and around 80% more shots in the box.
Aguero is at home to Leicester and his team has 10 days rest before the next game. No reason for him not to play 90.
Kane is playing for a team at the end of 4 games in 9 days including a Cup Final on a sapping Wembley pitch that could conceivably go to 120 minutes. Spurs play high line, high press and there's no way they won't be feeling it going into DGW. The chance of Kane playing 2 full games is slim.
For me, Kane (c) is a mistake. And I like it when most of the top 10k make the same mistake. My armband for GW 28 is already on Aguero and it will stay there unless something happens to change my mind tomorrow - an Aguero injury for example.I like it too, especially now that you reminded me it's a 10 day rest before another easy match in Burnley

FWIW you are wrong. Count 9 days from 18:00 last Thursday evening just before Spurs played Fiorentina and you'll see that by the time that 9 days is up Spurs will have played 4 times.
Well it's the equivalent of 9 days between them i suppose, yeah, from that point of view.

I read it as 4 games in the space of 9 different days, which it isn't, it's 4 games in 10 different days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday = 10), it's just that due to kickoff times the difference between the first and last match is less than those 10 full days.
