Still struggling to comprehend Kane being the top scorer after only starting games in November. What a year for him
Could sneak the main POTY over Hazard, though not sure how strongly weighted club success is.-
He should. He's been the best player in the Prem by a distance this season. What a player.
-
Better than Haz? Nah.
-
Absolutely. Hazard's end product hasn't been that great this season.
-
Too enamored by goals, Kane hasn't been half the player hazard has. He's just finished well
-
Take those plastic goggles off.
-
I love how you can hold this opinion and the high opinion of Rooney in MF role in the same head.
Hazard is a winger and still the most dominate player on the pitch every match-
Huh? I loathed the Rooney in CM experiment.
You're just spouting biased drivel.
-
-
-
Loooooool
-
-
-
He has been a better player than Hazard this season. He deserves it.
Doesn't make him a better player than Hazard, mind.
-
-
-
I think Haz deserves it over him though.
But yes, fantastic year. Hope he wins the golden boot -
Sanchez would be a contender as well, if he finishes strong.
-
He is a true talent, think if Spurs kept Luka and bale, they still could have bought Erikson and they'd be a CL caliber squad with some defenders
-
They have no defenders.
-
-
Still feels like this is going to be the peak of his career though.
-
So young, so talented. With Suarez he was in his prime, with Kane we have yet to know...
-
I hope he does.
-
-
I really thought the averages would be way higher than FPLdiscovery is saying.
-
*lower
-
I thought they would be mid 70s at least.
-
Only 48 odd percent captained Kane, so it brings the average down alot.
-
-
Forster, Hamer,
Ivan, Kosc, Toby, Rose, Naughton
Hazard, Silva, Sterling, Eriksen, Boyd,
Kun, Giroud, Kane
2FTs but £0m
Who to get rid of guys?!
A) Just Forster
B) Kosc or Rose (to free up funds)
C) A and B
Who are the best GKs to have for the upcoming weeks?!
Cheers-
Well a GK is a must surely as Hamer doesn't start and Forster is injured
-
-
Lawrenson 'predicted' we'd lose again ( just the 21st time this season ) away to Villa.... 🙂
What a right plonker he is.-
Good to see Gomis score after that scare..
-
+1
-
-
Bet on Lawro's predictions, you come out as a winner. You've lost 11 times and that's >50%
-
Gary Monk killed his family
-
an unsubstantiated allegation
-
-
Still on 17 points in his league table then?
-
19 points same as Leicester
-
-
I think he is okay. paul meson on the other hand....
-
-
Anyone reckon they can beat my score of 45 this week?
-
Umm, Kane C
-
LOL
-
-
Aguero has definitely been hit by the formation change.
Giving him on more week then punting on Sturridge.
Then when Austin has a blank it's the perfect time to get Costa for the DGW.-
Just posted a hot topic on the previous page about it. Time to get rid.
-
Just saw it. Great insight! Only thing bothering me about Aguero is after every game I ask:
"If only City got that penalty"
"If only Myhill didn't make such great saves"
He certainly is close to scoring but at that price I expect better.-
Until he's up top on his own you'll keep saying that.
-
Time to part ways
-
-
-
-
Is there any way Dawson could get a ban after the mistaken identity case earlier?
-
Lesson learned, never base your captaincy on Paddy Power goalscoring odds.
-
I'm jinxed, my keepers keep getting injured! I expect I'm not the only one...
Fabianski or Ospina?-
Flappyhandskiyu, Ospina horrible fixtures / blank.
-
Fab.
-
-
Walters to Phillips
or
Forster to Myhill -
Last Chelsea spot for DGW:
A) Costa
B) Terry
C) Fab
D) Oscar
Which would you pick?-
Terry
-
Fab as he will raise his game for Arsenal.
-
Even if he's playing deeper?
-
Yep, he's played deeper earlier in the season and was lethal.
-
-
-
Oscar is you are chasing points, otherwise Costa.
-
It's between Costa and Terry for me. Depends if I want to sacrifice Giroud or Aguero.
-
I don't own Giroud.
-
Then I'd go for Costa. Not a lot of competition for that 3rd striker spot, if it's not Giroud it must be Costa IMO
-
-
-
Costa clearly
-
Not clear mate. He's been off the ball.
-
-
Costa
-
Costa.
-
aguero becomes costa. simples
-
I guess so Megatron.. but I'm chasing huge time so looking for differentials.
-
-
-
Kane is the new Jon Stead
-
how did siggy look today?
-
Poor
-
Subbed off for being poor.
-
Great. Had some good chances, got cleared off the line twice
-
-
Is this the end of Bellerin, in terms of FPL?
-
For some gameweeks, yes. He´s number one, so he plays big matches
-
Hmmm thanks I was considering of getting rid but maybe not now
-
-
-
@chrislepkowski 3m3 minutes ago
Bad news: Foster out for six months after undergoing op to damaged cruciate-
ok that answers my question above
-
Welp, might just plump for Myhill after all then.
-
Foster or Forster?
-
-
Foster.
-
Foster. Lepkowski is WBA journo
-
Thanks all.
-
-
Christ
So us foster and myhill owners can downgrade foster ? £££££££
Or Davis-
Or Dgw it with guzan
-
-
bad news is good news for Myhill owners
-
Myhill proved today to be a more than able replacement. Not the end of the world
-
If Pulis will quit running Olsson out.
-
Sucks for Foster though.
-
-
Myhill is gonna be everyone's team at the start of next season then.
-
probably 4.5 or maybe even 5.0 though
-
Noted.
-
-
FPL aside, I feel really sorry for the guy! Had been playing outstanding well.
-
Davis-Foster could be the answer to the GK conundrum!
-
Davis-Myhill*
-
-
Foster -> Rose then
Myhill/Rose 8.0 combo 😀
-
-
Anyone watching "You're back in the room"?
Quality TV-
we got averages?
-
-
Oh Pantilimon....so close
-
Painful.
-
even more painful with Myhill on bench
-
Couldn't believe Myhill 5 points! 4 points for saves a record?
-
matches Krul last season I believe
-
Ah yes, away at Spurs?
-
yeah I think that was 14 saves rather than 13. Still a heroic game from Myhill today to spare tooo many blushes
-
-
-
-
-
Really was, wasn't it.
With number 1 getting Naughton off his bench, I really needed that clean sheet.-
Had PVA to make it worse.
-
Ditto
-
Ah you're kidding? That is a kick in the teeth
Clyne looking well worth the money over Alderweireld this week though, so at least that paid off for you!
-
-
-
-
I feel your pain...Guzan here
-
hurts really.... especially after benching Myhill
-
-
Pretty stoked. I'm on 86 post baps with Ivan & Hazard to play. If only I captained Kane instead of Giroud.
-
90 would be nice.
-
84 here but have Sterling in addition haz and ivan
-
-
Best replacement for Foster? Guzan maybe or rather Green? I have Krul too. Tnx
-
The backupkeepr for Southamptonobviously.. davis or something at 4.4
-
I'm thinking Guzan, but only because I can easily fix it when I WC a few weeks later.
-
-
Myhill or Guzan until the end of the season ?
-
Myhill made 13 saves today 😯
Great mother of pearl.-
Hard to watch as an Aguero/Silva owner. Fairplay to him but the West Brom defence was all over the place. Hard to play with 10 men though.
-
Diabolical refereeing. Bet there are a lot of Dawson owners who got away with one.
-
Yes but they'll ban him won't they?
-
-
I played him hoping for 1-2 points from saves. Safe to say this is more than I expected.
-
-
So...Forster>Myhill is a possibility now 😮
We'll see how long Forster is out. -
Just a watch out for anybody eyeing up Kelvin Davis as a cheap route into the Southampton defence.
Firstly, and stating the bleedin obvious we do not know if or how long Forster will be out for yet.
Secondly, even if Forster is out then do not assume Kelvin Davis at £4.4m will be his replacement.
Last year's number 1 Artur Boruc (and Polish International) does not appear in the game as he was sent out on loan on the Summer to Championship club Bournemouth just down the A31.
Bournemouth are having a fantastic season and are currently top of the Championship in no small part due to Boruc's absolutely outstanding performance's this season, he has been absolutely immense.
However Bournemouth are a smaller club by comparison, their capacity is only about 11,000 and it is fair to assume that Southampton are still paying a considerable part of his wages.
What we don't know as it hasn't been mentioned anywhere I can find is whether Southampton have a recall clause in his loan contract but considering how much they are still paying towards his wages then I would be surprised if they didn't put some kind of protection in there.
Anyway in summary, if Forster is out then don't automatically assume that Kelvin Davis will be his replacement. If Boruc does get added to the game then I would expect £5.0m as a minimum.-
Forster out for 6 months
-
Foster is.
-
Can see a lot of people misleading others accidentally.
-
Hah good, thought it was a bit quick result on his checkup
-
-
-
-
Great insight! Hopefully these next two weeks reveal more. Myhill and Davis could be a steal at their prices respectively. They rotate somewhat too.
-
Season long loans can't have a recall in...
-
That is what the Bournemouth Echo are suggesting too but there is no official confirmation yet.
I would be amazed if Southampton didn't try everything they could to get him back.
http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/11871926.AFC_Bournemouth__Injury_could_see_Wilson_withdraw_from_England_under_21_squad/-
Boruc would surely be fuming too.
Isn't Davis a cult figure ?
-
-
-
-
Just caught up with FPL. Yeah I know I'm a casual turncoat. As for non Kane captainers, I know the feeling only too well.
-
Went Aguero Granny?
-
No I went Kane. 2 weeks ago I went Aguero and paid dearly
-
He went for Kane.
-
No, he is an empathetic Kane (c)-er, the worst kind
-
-
Swapped Aguero to Kane last minute....relief is an understatement
-
Did you sort out that defence?
-
I did Bellerin to Ivanovic
-
-
I can't seem to do anything right lately. Not least the captaincy.
90mins against 10 men, 3 goals, 43 shots, and just 2 Agüero points to double.
As a wise man once said:
"To elicit a massive change in overall rank, one must seek out differentials. Especially when selecting a captain."
He didn't however specify which direction that massive change would be.
-
-
Who looks like a likely Sanchez replacement right now?
I'm pretty convinced on selling him. As much his contribution is to the team, Ozil and Cazorla (and Ramsey) take up much more central positions.
My other midfielders are Silva, Eriksen, Hazard.-
That's the thing. No standout replacements. Keep for now..
-
Yeah, I know. Just that 11.2 for a player who I know is NOT going to explode just seems odd. And when I have 2 FTs in hand.
-
-
See no obvious replacements
-
Just keep that milfs ?
-
-
Davis&Myhill the new keeper combo?
Cheap and good cs teams -
BAPS added
-
Phone froze at 11:25 while trying to do Austin > Giroud and Foster > Adrian for free...
Already lost 6 points and a VITAL transfer.
One stat for everyone that got rid of Austin though, he's already scored 5 against his DGW opponents this season. Hat-trick verses West Brom and brace against Villa in both reverse fixtures respectively. -
57 points from 4 players, this is possibly my greatest UFPL saturday to date 8)
-
what is your position in UFPL?
-
~ 900
-
not bad.. good luck
