Our duel with Paddy this week has us investing faith in Chelsea’s stand-in striker, Arsenal’s Chilean livewire and Manchester United’s Spanish playmaker.

With Diego Costa out of contention for the time being, it falls upon Loic Remy to shoulder the goal scoring responsibility for Chelsea. The French marksman has taken up the mantle in the Blues’ last two fixtures, bagging the winners against Hull City and Stoke City. Couple this with the fact that Jose Mourinho’s men have recorded shut-outs in five of their last nine home clashes and we’re willing to take up Paddy’s 9/1 odds on Remy to score two or more goals and Chelsea to keep a clean sheet and part with our first £3.

Our second, and favourite, wager of the week takes us across the capital to North London. Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez rifled a 20-yard strike past the flailing arms of Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet last Gameweek and looks primed to keep Burnley’s rearguard busy when the Gunners travel to Turf Moor this evening. Considering that the Clarets have netted just one goal in their previous five outings, we’re swayed by Paddy’s 12/1 offer on Sanchez to score two ore more goals and Arsenal to keep a clean sheet, parting with another £4.

The Manchester derby is the destination of our final bet, with Red Devils midfielder Juan Mata piquing our interest in light of his brace against Liverpool in Gameweek 30. Manchester City’s defence has been breached in every one of their last seven road matches, while United have recorded three shut-outs in their last five. All things considered, Paddy’s 10/1 offer on Mata to score and Manchester United to keep a clean sheet looks like a fine source of investment for our remaining £3.

Don't beat yourself up - Kane scores 39% of Spurs' goals whereas Haz only scores 20% of Chelsea's. 12% to 13% on assists. Home game to away game. 31pts to 37pts on bonus. All on 700 minutes less than Haz, the stats are with Kane.

oddly enough i think i get more stoked when southampton or chelsea concede a goal, than i do when a player of mine scores a goal. have no defence from either and the ownership is massive.

Bottomed on page 9 so repost.

In addition to Andy's post - Here are some statistics from the opposing defence.

    Aston Villa (Kane)
    Goals Conceded - 1.60
    Goal Attempts Conceded - 11.00
Goal Attempts Conceded In The Box - 7.00
    Big Chances Conceded - 1.80

    QPR (Hazard)
    Goals Conceded - 2.20
    Goal Attempts Conceded - 17.00
Goal Attempts Conceded In The Box - 11.80
    Big Chances Conceded - 1.80

Despite the statistics clearly favouring Hazard I will instead go for Kane as I believe he will score the most points. It's a risk of not going for Kane especially if he scores 15+.

    4. Somalion

Let me throw this out as well:

Only twice this season has Hazard gotten a goal and an assist in a game. Every other match that he has gotten returns it has only been either a goal or an assist. Furthermore, he has not scored 2 goals in a game this season.

On the other hand, Kane has returned a goal and assist or more (2 goals, 2 goals 2 assists, 3 goals) in 5 games this season.

I think Hazard is a safe captain as you can be pretty guaranteed he will get something. Kane is far more likely to get an actual haul imo.

I've got the armband on Kane but after Spurs dire showing against Burnley I'm itching to put it on Aguero.
