After watching the game today I wonder why the hell he is in my team.

Terrible today as an owner, wasn't it? I wanted to reach right through the screen and throttle him. Over and over and over and over again, he passed up opportunities to try to make something happen, only to dish it off to someone else. ARGH!

Being forced to get players for this gw has led me to just get Leicester and Chelsea only. I hope it works out, although one of them already on my team is Hamer so I doubt that will.

Yeah same situation here, already have 3 Chelsea, might have to get a couple of Leicester on a hit for GW33 and then maybe 2 Liverpool on a hit for GW34. Making 7 in total.

Microphones for the Masters just caught Tiger saying "oh my f**king God" after shanking a drive and letting the club fly out of hands. As a former Tiger supporter, this is just getting embarrassing and ridiculous.

Yeah, because at the Masters you always hear golfers saying that and letting clubs fly out of their hands. He's been carrying this kind of stuff on for too long now. His attitude isn't helping hsi game at all, unless you haven't been paying attention. People who know about the game are growing tired of the whole routine.

i find it odd that anyone would be offending by someone cursing, it's pretty natural after a rubbish shot. and look, he just birdied the hole where he shanked his tee shot

That puts some interesting perspective on it. You really have to try to understand what I was getting at on the whole. People acting like I'm surprised to hear a professional athlete swear.

Sounds like people are making it a bigger issue than it really is. Who cares if you dont hear golfers say that, or they dont let clubs fly out of their hands. If these people werent so obssessed with him they wouldnt be growing tired of it

          1. The Enlightener
            • 12 Years
            10 years, 8 months ago

I made mention of it mostly because it's the Masters and you don't expect to hear any golfer say something like that. I am not offended personally, but many others will be and Tiger has been overly petulant in the last year or so. I mean, that's about it. If you were sitting there with your buddies watching on the telly, you all would have discussed it. Laughed about it. Etc, etc. Thought someone might find it curious. Simple as that.

It's not so much him swearing per se as it is the whole package that is his ongoing frustration at every little thing that doesn't go his way. He just needs to relax a little. R-e-l-a-x.......relax. I love him when the fire is going, but over the last year or so he has just been taking it far too far.

Really did think my team was looking good for this week. 7/11 played, including captain, 14 points. Wow.

Remy could still come good, but after debating Murray/Remy all week, this one stung.

The only one I would consider is what defenders you're looking at for DGW. If you're going for a Chel or Leic defender I may get them in now for Hutton as a wee bit of security to either play or even bench.

Slightly out the box here, in terms of shipping Austin. Murray would be the obvious choice, but any takers on Nugent at 4.9? Has Swansea next week, then a DGW and after that Newcastle at home so he buys me a week to save funds for Giroud. On pens as well - although he missed the last one I think.

@Bowstring, should've picked up on your choice of Murray. Hopefully Remy come through with a goal.

    b) are you having a defender/Opsina or trebling in attack?

I think there's an argument for having at least 1 on your bench

Can't see it, I've got 3 transfers to get them in before GW37.

But they have hul, SWA before DGW, I'd want 3 by then

You have to bench 1 attacker might as well be an Arsenal one.

              Schmeichel/Pantilimon
van Aanholt, Clyne, Terry, Moreno, Bruce
              Hazard, Silva, Henderson, Fàbregas, Cork
              Sturridge, Kane, Agüero

Who would you take out for a Arsenal player ?
Will swap Sturridge and Fabregas out fo Sanchez and Giroud GW36

Maybe, but they have Villa at home and leaky Spurs next so I'm not so sure

                    and your 3rd Arsenal GW37?

                    tbh Spurs have SOT, mci

I don't think you need Kane either

Silva can go GW37 for Ozil/Ramsey

This is my first WC draft, need some more tinkering I guess

would like to see what you have for keepers, City cover and Arsenal player (I'm guessing Giroud)

        my choice is simple

        a) Ospina with one of Ramsey/Giroud on the bench and the other in GW35
        b) Panti with one of them and Silva/Kun (and 2 Arsenal GW35)
        c) Panti with 2 and no City

Aye, I'll have Silva for sure, no Aguero. Yeah, Giroud for me (no value stored mind you).
          It's either double Saints/Chelsea/Pool backline or Arsenal/Pool/Chelsea/Saints

          Davis and Schmeichel
(covers GW34 when Saints have TOT, and Gw38 with QPR while Saints play MCI)
or Ospina and Schmeichel, which is more straight forward.

This is a tough one, I get the triple Arsenal attack route, sort of hedging your bets in a way considering the attacking potential they have.

I'm undecided still, right now I think b.

no Kane for me also, can't dismiss Leicester's attack for the DGW, IMO. So Vardy replaces him for the DGW, then comes ack Gw36

Liverpool can welcome Jordon Ibe back into the squad for Monday's clash against Newcastle United, with Brendan Rodgers revealing the winger has looked 'absolutely sensational' in training.

Maybe Ibe as fifth mid and 3rd liverpool-player for DGW can be a possibility

What is a better combination guys for DGW?

    a) Henderson + Sturridge

    b) Sterling + Remy

    c) Sturridge + Azpi (I have Terry)

    d) Sterling + Moreno

So after some, lets say, "poor planning" + the Gomis injury I am left in a position where I need to take a -12 hit to have 11 players playing. More negative points than I've taken all season so far, not sure what to do. Any help?
