For gw 33/34, would you rather have
Fabregas and Vardy or
Cambiasso and Remy?Fabregas and Vardy.
^
That is where I am leaning, esp with the security of starts I would presume from Fabregas.
I'd feel safer with the first option, although that surely is more expensive?
Agree, the extra money would be useful to restock after the dgw.
Considering Fabregas/Vardy and Cambiasso/Remy - with no DGW in mind, which will be the case after GW34, I would not have liked the prospects of both Cambiasso and Remy in my team.
Remy - always a risk. Cambiasso - bench fodder, surely, but not the best.
At least Fabregas is always a decent pick.
Not possible to have Fab and Remy?
Only one Chelsea spot left.
Cheers all for the replies. Plenty to think about this gw.
Geez, no GK next week. Considering saving my FT and seeing the bigger picture - getting two DGW34ers for free.
Taking a 0 isn't the worst. I have Myhill & expect a negative score.
Why no keeper?
I am in the same boat. Hard to justify a -4 unless I play him for at least 2-3 gws.
Use a transfer on getting Courtois or Schmeichel?
What 2 changes to this lot would you make?
Myhill
Clyne - Alderweireld - Wollscheid
Boyd - Hazard (vc) - Eriksen - Silva
Remy - Kane (c) - Agüero
Pantilimon - Sánchez - van Aanholt - Dawson
2 FT, £0.8m in the bank, WC in GW34.
Sanchez & Remy out?Remy should play but I would fancy a Murray punt. Sanchez to Fabregas?
Fabregas vs United doesn't really do much for me.
Does more than Boyd
I can bench Boyd with the Sanchez replacement.
Is there a better Sanchez replacement though?
Palace vs WBA looks tempting.
It sure does, Bolasie and Murray double up could work wonders. Puncheon maybe the safer option?
Will need to check the comparison tool etc.
Actually Puncheon is probably safer long-term, but Bolasie has to be the better one week punt after 3 goals and an assist this gw.
This ^. No reason to hold Remy if one has 2FT and a WC with Murray so hot and against a weak team.
Not if Mou thinks Remy is back for the next game.
Think he will outscore Murray or Kane?
Probably not, but if he starts, he's good for points.
Sanchez out.
Wait on Remy news - sell if doubtful, otherwise keep and get Baines in.You think Remy will outscore most forwards next week? Can get him in GW34 if needed.
I suppose that's true. Still a decent chance of getting a goal though, not sure next week is an ideal time for a Saints double up, excellent as they are
Not much choice for the double up.
Selling Sanchez gives you buckets to spend - would prefer Dawson > Baines to Remy > Murray, I think
Boyd to a Leicester mid?
Ah, just for this gw. Could do Boyd and Sanchez to two Palace mids.
Rather Murray I think.
You've made your bed with Remy, it's one or the other next week imo
Can have both if selling Kane.
I wouldn't sell Kane until Southampton away
GW34 probably.
Sanchez -> Fabregas?
Depends on Remy news I guess. Is it worth selling Sanchez one week before you wildcard ? . You must have a fair bit of t.v tied up in Sanchez and you will probably want him back for the double in 37 . If you sell now and your t.v goes down will this have a negative effect on your wildcard ? .
Only lose 0.1 on Sanchez. He could easily drop this week.
Either play it safe and get a Palace mid or go on the craziest punt of all time and get Yaya .
Sanchez>Fabregas
Must be a move to a Leicester or Chelsea player
As you can't get a defender in one move, Sanchez to Fab seems best.
I'd hold Remy*chelsea defender
Cheers all.
Anyone else worried Clyne will be benched again?
Just you.
Not just me then is it
He won't, it was just a rest.
Ok thanks
For sure. I have 3 playing defenders-Clyne included-but am transferring in a fourth for that reason
I think he'll play, but am covering the possibility he wont
All indications are a rest but not a bad idea to cover in case
Is there likely to be any fallout from the Mane penalty incident? Someone was speculating Koeman may 'teach him a lesson' and leave him out.
Seems unlikely to me but a worry when you just wanna get 11 guys fielded!Mane might be sacked
Are there enough without Aguero for his stock to rise again?
He's minus 20 odd on fplstatistics now..season keeper for me so dont really care
I anticipate most with him to be smug about not caring 😛
I really don't fancy Hull(cpl,LIV) or Leicester(bur,CHE) to do well in the double. Not the easiest fixtures. Plus Palace are on form, and Burnley are tight at home.
Thoughts on Speroni vs Schmeichel for the next two?
Probably Schmeichel because of the extra fixture. Palace aren't exactly water tight as well...
True, but can see them getting at least one cleanie... the extra .4 could come in handy though
I think Hull will probably get beaten to nil in both matches, they're a dour side.
Leicester are so attacking though, defenders included. They'll go for it both matches, and so the potential is there for points - worth taking a risk on IMO. Burnley sit back against the big teams, but need a result against the likes of Leicester, so will be much more open than they were vs Arsenal/City/Spurs.no but leics have decent fixture this week so its a chance to ditch bellerin for me
lei has to go for it, they're scoring goals now too.
Leicester do score some goals, but it's hard to pick any of their players as a must-have. Hull I think I will avoid.
Agree. I do not see how one can get any Hull or Leicester forwards or mids and then not be constrained by them in the following weeks.
WC...
D'oh. WC to get them in is the easy part...what about the exit strategy???
Leicester fixtures aren't bad, I guess. But I think I'd prefer Aguero(AVL) than Vardy(bur,CHE) .
yeah I thin I may go Austin> Vardy so its not that bad of a decision imo. low risk high reward.
It also allows me extra funds to get fab. I had my mind set on remy but I want fab and I can't get both
My defence is Ivanovic Bertrand Bellerin Schlupp Naughton(Davis/Myhil)
1ft 0.0 itb , I really want to save ft and do Mane > Henderson for sure and Bertrand > Moreno or Skrtl with the other. Can only afford Skrtl though if I do Naughton to Duff this week . The plus side of Naughton to Duff means fielding XI, strength in depth in defence for the run in and I can afford Skrtl over Moreno for the double. The downside is it will be for a -4 effectively,So Duff (eve) and Skrtel (wba/hul)
vs Moreno (wba/hul) + 4 points
Would probably save transfer and play with ten this week tbh, dull as it is.Yep , that's the summary I was looking for in short , it's just Morenos game time that worries me , thanks for the reply that's what I'm leaning towards
Naugton to Geoff Cameron?
Yay/Nay
Any better cheap option for the rest of the season. I have Alderwield and Dann already. Tnx mates.I think I may have Cameron on my DGW WC team.
But Cameron dont have DGW... Or just for game against swans?
Just need a cheap and decent defender to fill in the as the 4th or 5th defender on my WC team, and his 4.2 price helps.
In other words, Cameron would not be one of my DGW players. I will only have 6-8.
Also.. this liverpool Cameron Brannagan is unlocking tonight on fplstatistics
Does that mean he might be getting an app soon?Oezil giroud to
A Vardy cambiasso
B Murray silvaB by far
A .. I'm feeling reckless
but really if it was me I would go B
Ozil doesn't take an "e" if you can't have the umlaut.
BBeing used to replace o umlaut with or. But you ate right.
will kompany play next gw ?
I wouldn't play him no matter if he plays or not
Baps in
My GW33 plan (2FT, 0.2itb, and GW34 WC)
Remy > Murray (one week punt, and may even hold Murray through DGW and drop Kane)
Sanchez > Puncheon (hoping it's his turn to light it up for CP)
Myhill/Panti
Ivan, Bertrand, Toby, Dawson, Baird
Hazard, Sanchez, Silva, Eriksen, Boyd
Kun, Kane, Remy
For GW34 WC, a lot of variables in play due to GW33, and am not sure if I want to build around Kun + Sturridge or build around Kun + Remy. TBD. That decision affects everything else. The bps are in..
should I hold eriksen for one more week or just sell him for fab now?
I'd hold. Newcastle are not very good, and I think that there are better punts for next week. I am also an Eriksen holder...
yeah I think I am going to hold him and just save that extra transfer as I am not 100% sold on getting fab for the dgw yet.
Depends on your FT count and WC status.
have 2 ft, but i need 2 for gw34 and I'm also taking a -4 hit to get a few players in that week. No WC
So, your situation requires more careful decisions. I'd hold Eriksen then, and consider a different punt. He does have a weak opponent. He has been so disappointing the last month for sure.
I'm holding him. I'm definitely selling him for a dgw player though. Thanks. What about Austin>Vardy? what do you think?
K. Davis
Fonte Bertrand Wollscheid Lescott
Silva Eriksen Hazard
Aguero (C) Kane (v) Remy
Bench: Zouma, Sanchez (!), Lucas (!)
1FT, 0.9M ITB.
1) Keep FT
2) Sanchez>Fabregas, Zouma>Skrtel [-4]
3) Sanchez>Sterling, Zouma>Ivanovic
4) Other (suggest!)
Seems silly taking a hit early BUT it allows me to field Fabregas or Ivanovic an extra week. Problem.? They are playing Utd.Looks like Jonty is out of the cup...oh oh
I'm considering a punt on Bolaise, do you think his points this week was a flash in the pan or he can do it again ?
Random if Bolasie, Puncheon or even Zaha are going to score big for CP. I think one of them may as that team seems pretty hot, has a good finisher with Murray, and two weak opponents at home in the next two weeks. I am leaning towards Sanchez > Puncheon for a 1 week GW33 punt.
I think the hat trick a flash but I think CPL will most likely be strong again next week, especially against west brom, so he will have loads of opportunity to get in on more action.
Murray is the most likely to get action though.. I would bring him in first if I hadn't felt the strong need to bring in Aguero (bae)
I am bringing in two CP players as one week punts next week myself. Murray for Remy (Remy can come back for DGW on my WC), and Puncheon or Bolasie. Everything gets re-evaluated for DGW WC.
I would be totally on for that myself if i had (a) Aguero and (b) 2FT but alas.
Reckon it will work out well for you though.
Meanwhile i will be clutching my pearls from here to when I can use my WC for GW34Trust me, don't assume it will work out for me, but at least I have the degrees of freedom to make these moves and can reverse them. If CP do not produce in GW33, the trades do not work out for me!
when form + fixtures align though.. 😉
One of him and puncheon each week hard to tell who will get the more points
There's a very good chance he'll never score another hat trick in his career. He is an excellent option though.
Flash in pan, he's decent but no repeat of hatty. Ask Kane cappers of late.
Best one week punts? Plan to use my WC in GW 34..
Thinking Everton defender and City MidIf that City mid = Yaya, I would not do. He is so unimpactful out there. I was intending on that move (from Sanchez), but am not disinclined (even though Villa at home are not the same as Man Utd on the road). Yaya has really underwhelmed this entire season.
I love the use of the non word unimpactful
We Americans, even with many degrees, are very poor in grammar.
Ha trust me I'm not one of those to pick up on grammar - thought it was an interesting use lol
Thanks. He was so lazy out there...He could be a force for good. Instead, Yaya is a force of like, jello.
I've done Giroud > Murray and am eyeing up either Eriksen > Punch/Bolasie or Cawson > Everton defender
Remy -------> Vardy?
IDK, how about Murray instead?
Is your grav Edward James Olmos?Indeed it is 🙂
Keep Remy
Depends on how many trades he has and if he has a WC. If he has 2 FT and a WC, the options are limitless. Why hold a guy who may not play? I am selling Remy myself. I may get him back, but the upside of a hold is nearly zero as I have 2FT & a WC.
Yeah agreed in that situation sell.
I have no wc and 1ft so need to keep really.Yeah, that's a different scenario, and then the prudent thing to do is hold.
Baines or Jagielka?
For some reason I fancy Jagielka...Coleman
Baines. Got joy in space behind Trippier in last match, likely to happen again. Also Burnley are rubbish at defending set pieces - good chance of assists. Jagielka and Coleman perhaps with a better chance of scoring though, but think Leighton has pena again to swing it.
Cheers
How come he's back on pens?
Help is needed please
Are these 6 DGWers enough or do I need Sturridge as well
CHE - Terry, Ivanovic, Hazard
LIV - Coutinho, Henderson
LEI - Morgan
No WC is available (so this will be -8 pt hit altogether)
Any ideas would be welcomedbest transfer of my life : aguero -> remy
Ouch
At least you could go shopping.
thats true thanks mate 😀
Ouch.
Are you my ml rival?
dont think so
I''m on 45 pts with Krul to come. So I'll probably end up on 44 or 45 pts...
Hey guys! Had a decent GW (56 pts including subs/baps all out).
However, in a bit of a pickle for the next GW. Have Remy, Bellerin, Ozil and Panti in my team and only one FT. What would you do here? And would you take any hits?
Panti - Hamer
Bellerin - Clyne - Azpi - Aldeweireld - Dawson
Silva - Hazard - Ozil - Eriksen - Boyd
Aguero - Kane - Giroud
1 FT, 4.7m ITB.Get a keeper, consider Özil out.
Pretty much what I'm thinking. Worth it for a -4 though? And who the hell can I look at as a replacement? Don't see many guys in midfield who don't have a blank TBH. (Mata is worth consideration but worried about the CHE game).
If you get a keeper that plays GW33 and has two games in GW34, that's two games more than your current keepers will play. That should pay off even for a hit.
Correct. But I can get a non-Leicester keeper as well! Hit would be for Ozil, not the keepers!
Have to get 11 playing...Hamer to Schmeichel, considering DGW34? I believe Panti and Schmeichel rotate well too...
Yup, makes sense to keep Panti just for rotation / late DGW right?
Not sure if Schmeichel is a worthwhile punt considering their defence is really bad / one of the DGW games is vs Chelsea tbh.
you have remy and you don't have remy?
Oh whoops! I have Remy instead of Giroud there (think I wrote Giroud out of habit). Good spot!
Planned team for DGW 34:
Krul
Terry* Bertie Schlupp*
Hazard* Sterling* Coutinho* Silva
Giroud/Kane Remy/Costa* Aguero
Subs: Myhill Bellerin PvA Walters
Would be a -4 for DGW as it stands. Worth -8 to get another Pool player? If so...Hendo or Skrtel?http://liverpooloffside.sbnation.com/liverpool-fc-news-coverage/2015/4/8/8369011/lallana-and-flanagan-fall-short-of-fitness-test
This from last week but Flan the man might be a nice DGW pick.I have ten (likely) starters next week with 2 FT and £5m in the bank.
Myhill
Terry - Toby - Dawson
Haz - Eriksen - Mane - Silva
Kun - Kane
Bench: Hamer - Austin - Sinclair - Hutton - Naughton
Option 1 = Austin > Murray and Sinclair > Fab
Option 2 = Sinclair > Bolasie and Mane > Fab
Or is there a better strategy i.e. Upgrading Myhill to Davies?Like 1.
Mane to Fab to have 11 and extra DGer.
Still leaves 10.
Ah right ! Keep Mane and Sinclair to Cambiasso.
The first one looks the better option of the two.
Which looks better for the double:
A) Panti, Clyne, Eriksen -> Migs, Skrtle, Coutinho
B) Panti, Rose, Eriksen -> Migs, Skrtle, Henderson
