Three middle-aged beards collide to talk Fantasy Football. Hipsters? Sadly, as Jonty so rightly points out, we bear a closer resemblance to a trio of David Brents.

A clean-shaven Ryan joins us to complete the quartet and boost the credibility: the Kiwi contributor wakes fresh and ready for action to mull over the Gameweek gone, the week’s transfer bandwagons and to look forward to the weekend’s action.

Around those regulars, we brace ourselves for the latest bout of quizzing from you, the community. We tackle the potential of the Palace form guys and the unlikely contribution from Hull and Leicester, as we cast an early eye on the looming double Gameweek.

The ScoutCast was beamed out live on Wednesday via a Google Hangout and you can view the full video recording on the player below.

Alternatively, for the polished, low-fat audio version can be found via this link or the first player.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Ok so I'm going to go against what appears to be the agreed convention on the site this week around Bolasie. Sure, he was impressive last week, but a few things concern me:

    1. It was sieve-like Sunderland
    2. Pulis may do a job on his old club
    3. Bolasie's historical goal output
    4. I am already drafting in Murray for Palace cover
    5. It smacks of chasing last week's points

2 FT's ahead of going daft with next week's WC:

    Clyne to Baines
    Remy to Murray

Baines' underlying stats are good and that, coupled with Burnley's goal shyness away from home, leads to the conclusion that Baines has some potential this week. Alderweireld provides Soton cover should they keep Stoke out.

    GW33:

    Krul
    Baines, Terry, Alderweireld
    Hazard, Silva, Eriksen, Boyd
    Aguero(c), Kane, Murray

    Thoughts?

I'm not sure I'd make the Remy to Murray switch for the reasons you just described. He is expected to be back and fit this week so I'm not sure I'd hastily get rid in your position. I feel as if only using 1FT is the way to go so you have 2FT's for Liverpool assets next week (assuming you don't have a WC).

Thanks I'm starting to feel I may want 3 arsenal attackers in 37 and I'm going off the idea of Ospina taking a valuable slot, I feel that
        Skirtel > Migs
        Jags > Howard
        Ramsey > Ospina
Brings me back to the cheapies then...,

Is Lukaku too much of a mad punt for this gameweek only? I'll wildcard next week and got Giroud to ditch.

I don't want Murray as I think his ship has sailed and besides I will most likely have to play Dawson against Palace (due to Kompany likely being out).

    So Lukaku: yay or nay?

The second one is very nice - but I would like to try and find an Arsenal attacker in there to better prep for GW37. Or would the 2nd draft have money in the bank for straight Murray/Vardy > Giroud swap?

Thanks all. Yes for GW35 I will have enough for Murray > Giroud. Then the week after Fabregas > Ramsey and Coutinho > Ozil. The week after Vardy > Defoe!

Since Sturridge is not always 100% I would go with be. Regarding Baines I think Everton are on a good run and have good fixtures as well. Can swap him with Cresswell too. Or as Sab said Coutinho > Sterling.

Good plan mate. Well, Baines would be a strong differential. The other changes would just be moving towards the template team. Depends on what you need to accomplish in the last few GWs. Make up ground...or protect leads.

Make up ground unfortunately. Currently in 4th place in ML. Top 3 do not have a WC to play though.

Yeah I though about that. Either I keep for the week after home vs Newcastle and switch him instead of Murray.

Next game week, -4 for a Liverpool defender seems worth it!

Howard seems like a great GK shout for the remaining games this season!?

Just looked across at Hull's fixtures. They are in trouble, could easily go down

Was just listening to Football Ramble and they think Hull will really struggle, especially if Leicester and QPR keep playing well. They are blunt in front of goal....

Does Ospina have a chance to lose his spot to Szczesny? Does Schmeic have a chance to lose his spot to Schwarzer?

No on both counts, unless they do something drastically wrong, or get injured.

Arsenal fan here. Szczesny has burned some bridges at Arsenal, his attitude has become an issue for Wenger I think and Ospina hasn't done anything wrong in the last 8 games to warrant dropping.

I'm pretty sure szcz will play against Liverpool in the cup semi final, so I'd potentially watch that game with interest. If he has a worldy, there's a chance he could feature in the Prem again, but still unlikely as it's not Wenger's style.

    Aguero, Vardy, Nugent (C)

Captaining Nugent is an interesting captain choice. If you want a differential captain, Sterling or Fabregas might be better shouts.

Might go Sterling tbh if he's playing up front. But if he's not then It'll probably be Nugent as I'm chasing a few points and they'll all captain Hazard.

Was thinking Barkley but he's looked poor FPL wise this season, can see Puncheon or Bolasie doing well, just not sure which one!

    3. rickytoso

A or Bolasie. Tadic hasn't been a guaranteed starter.

In a similar position, but noone really inspires me, looking at Bolasie/Lennon!/Siggy, even Shelvey!
Not sure yet, may even start Rose and play 4 midfielders...
