Three middle-aged beards collide to talk Fantasy Football. Hipsters? Sadly, as Jonty so rightly points out, we bear a closer resemblance to a trio of David Brents.

A clean-shaven Ryan joins us to complete the quartet and boost the credibility: the Kiwi contributor wakes fresh and ready for action to mull over the Gameweek gone, the week’s transfer bandwagons and to look forward to the weekend’s action.

Around those regulars, we brace ourselves for the latest bout of quizzing from you, the community. We tackle the potential of the Palace form guys and the unlikely contribution from Hull and Leicester, as we cast an early eye on the looming double Gameweek.

The ScoutCast was beamed out live on Wednesday via a Google Hangout and you can view the full video recording on the player below.

Alternatively, for the polished, low-fat audio version can be found via this link or the first player.

Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel and Google Plus page to keep informed of when future ScoutCast hit the screen.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Team is ready for the week! 10/15 players are departing my team next week! 😀

    Davis
    Ivan, Terry, Bertrand
    Hazard, Silva, Eriksen, Mane
    Aguero(C), Kane, Murray

    Panti, Moses, PvA, Naughton

Know I shouldn't be, but was almost surprised to see how few players I have this week.

    My starters are

    Fabianski
    Terry Clyne (Haidara PvA Bellerin)
    Hazard Eriksen Silva (Ozil Phillips)
    Aguero Kane (Giroud)

Clearly I need to do something. I have 2 FTs. Thinking Ozil to Fabregas and Haidara to Morgan to give me two DGWers next week, but that still leaves me light on a starter. Are those even good swaps?

Would you take a hit for someone? Get a cheapie defender in for PvA? Get someone in for Philips? If I do the two transfers I have in mind I'll have 0.6 in the bank.

Really would appreciate help on this, haven't felt this lost since the start of the season!

    C) Kane to Vardy

    What's better....I'm confused...

No keeper this week and roll a FT(play with 10 if Remy is fit)...or get ...

    A) Schmeichel...does getting him justify a hit next week?
    B)Davis

    Which is best...?

    All these numbers!

            Yeah, well it's for free. I have 2 FT's.

I will take a hit next week for liverpool players. In my small potato head it also seems Kasper is the way to go, especially iro the Liverpool hit next week.

      B.

If it was a defender I would've said get a Leicester one cause he can be rotated out after the DGW but seeing as you're stuck with the GK you may as well go with Davis.

Schmeichel has decent fixtures (on paper) right till the end.

Panti my 2nd keeper and he covers DGW 37.

Tough one really cause you wouldn't want to play Schmeichel almost every week. That said, I don't see many cleanies for Davis anyway.

    5. JogaSemmedo
      • 11 Years

      A) It makes the hit more worthwhile next week by getting him in now, he's got a decent fixture this gw plus the double too to make up for a hit in the dgw (that's my logic at least)

he could but rogers has shown he not afraid to rest him plus only way to get him is to dich kun and that doesnt look an attractive prospect right now

A fit and firing Sturridge would be first name on the team sheet, but...

Was my original plan but a good chance he will only play 1 based on all recent history

Don't see how any sane person could be looking at him. BR has said he won't be fully fit this season. He hasn't been in any sort of form and is extremely injury prone. If he manages to start one I'd guess he won't start the other.

Already asked this a few times this week but wanted a last round of opinions before I make the swap. For this GW before I WC, who do you think will score more:

    A) Howard (bur) + Dawson (cpl) - means I play 11
    B) Murray (wba) - means I play 10

    Cheers!

Pfa young usually goes to a young player thats made the biggest jump in his career(judging by who has recieved this award in recent years). Cr7 was not only the best in the league overall but made the biggest progress the year he won them both

Kane definitely made the bigger jump than hazard despite hazard being the better overall. He was already top class

    Seems fair enough to me

Bale won it in 2012-13 (along with PoTY), despite having won PoTY in 2010-11.

I know, bale made a ridiculous jump thay year despite winning the main one is 2011( i still dint know why he won the main one that year, hr wasnt that good)

Also the case of no real other stand out contendors

Yeah I said yesterday, the standard in 2010-11 was very poor. There's no way YPoTY should be up to 24, Bale winning that year and Hazard being eligible this year is ridiculous.

I agree, I don't think of Hazard as a young player any more.

Having said that, if he is eligible for both he should win both. Hands down the best player in the PL this season.

What's Brown Ideye's chance of playing you reckon? Think Anichebe will start alongside Berahino now he has a knock?

If he's not gonna play I may aswell take the hit now and get him out given those fixtures...

Can someone please kindly explain to me the striker situation at Leicester? Looking at Ulloa, Nugent and Vardy's game time is beyond confusing to know who is firs choice, etc. Thanks.

Leicester are in good form and Vardy been playing through that form so logical to expect his inclusion

They have played all 3 in the last 3 games.
      Front 3 at Spurs - Vardy (L), Ulloa © and Nuggent ®
      Front 4 vs WHU - Vardy (L), Ulloa and Nuggent © and MAhrez/Albrig ®
Front 4 at WBA - Vardy (L), Ulloa and Nugg © and Albrig (r)

Best differential midfielder for this GW only (will WC next week), money no issue.
I have Ozil but for obvious reasons I'd like to get rid of him before the blank.

I've been thinking that Mata might be a good shout, or perhaps even Fellaini or Young.
    Thoughts?
