I can see Arsenal progressing well over the next few years, but a little disappointed over what happened to their homegrown lot with lots of potential.

Can only see Ox and Ramsey being locked in the first XI in the next two years. Walcott, Wilshere, Welbeck, Szczesny and Gibbs will all go or be on the fringes.

            Haha 🙂

But in all seriousness, I don't think he should. Klopp is, a popular on paper, choice. But Arsene, unless he wants to go, should stay. Is really putting a solid team together, and the injuries finally seem to have stopped.

I want him to stay one more season honestly, the new team he has built over the last 3-4 years is up for a title challenge now, and would like to give the man one more chance to end with a bang.

If you care about Englad - and decades of rubbish has mainly meant I don't any more - there is the potential attacking spine on an England team in Wilshere, Walcott and Ox, stuck on the Arsenal bench.

Of course CL teams need big squads, especially Arsenal, who pick up casualties faster than World War 1 fighter pilots.

Walcott had 1 and 1/2 massive seasons before getting injured. He looked world class for a while.

Of course he looks nothing like that now, and wouldn't be the first player relying on speed to never be the same after knee knack.

For certain brief periods, he was. Sometimes, there was no defender who could handle that pace.

                World class is very bold.

You have to consistently deliver to be deemed world class in my eyes.

Would you put him as good as Hazard, this season?
                Robben? Messi, etc.

2012-13 - Walcott had 21 goals from 43 appearance in a rebuilding Arsenal team.

(Bale managed 26 from 44 the same season before moving, and he was definitely considered world class).

Wilshere can still be good again, but as an Arsenal fan, I honestly say he is nowhere near what he could have been.

On the other hand, look at Coquelin. Everyone including the manager thought he was rubbish, but he is up there right now only because of merit.

          Reading didn't do much.

Arsenal were well off their best, but won 2-1, hit the woodwork 3 times, and had their own dodgy GK moment (albeit not in the same league as Reading's).

Thinking about this WC team for GW 34

    SHCMEICHEL (Pantilimion)
TERRY - IVANOVIC - SKRTEL (PvA, Vlaar)
    HAZARD - HENDERSON - STERLING - Silva - CAMBIASSO
    Aguero - VARDY (Giroud)

It also leaves me 1.5 in the bank for bringing two of Sanchez/Ozil/Ramsey and one cheap defender instead Ivanovic, Sterling and Henderson until GW 37...

How it look like to you?

On my wc team, I have both keepers, Terry & Cmaeron, Haz, Sterling & Coutinho, and your front line. So, we are pretty aligned. I went with Ivan (who is a hold for me), Schlupp and Duff as my other defenders, and have Henderson instead of Fabregas. I feel that Chelsea are not playing for goals, so I went with my plan B team instead of my plan A team (which had Fab, like yours).

    Schemeichel
    Ivan, Alderweirald*, Skrtel
    Hazard, Fabregas, Silva, Sterling, Henderson
    Aguero, Vardy

    Ospina, Kane, Duff, PvA

See my post above. We also have similar teams. On my wc team, I have both your keepers, Terry & Cameron, Haz, Sterling & Coutinho, and 2 of 3 of your front line. I ditched Kane though given Spurs form, fixtures, and the fact that Vardy's DGW and Boyd like price seemed to fit better with my strategy. It was hard selling Kane! and eating those gains. I will bring him back GW 36 or 37. I have did not go with Fabregas as I feel that Chelsea are not playing for goals.

Cambiasso is good for the bench after DGW... you can have problems with that with your front 8

Well, a Southampton defender is. I could keep Bertrand but that won't leave me with much in the bank. I already have Schmeichel so I won't be doubling up.

I have said goodbye to the saints defenders. I think that is past time. However, there are many different views on this, I'm sure...and I may revert and grab Yoshida if Toby is ruled out.

I'm glad that around only 20% of payers have there WC because some of these teams look scary, especially those who have planned ahead for the final games as well.

Us none WCs will be put to the sword, sure we can match some of the teams for GW34 but points hit will hurt us more if they don't pay off.

it's quite possible that some of the DGWers will fail horribly and those keeping regular single GWers might actually excel this week. the fact that the DGW from a couple of weeks ago proved so fruitful, might be clouding people's judgement.
