Our attentions turn to the weekend’s matches as we delve into the data this evening. We cast an eye over Villa’s in-form duo, assess a couple of Sunderland prospects and analyse the goal threat of Hull’s weekend hero and Liverpool’s little Brazilian as the two go head-to-head at the KC tomorrow.

    Good morning everyone!

Today I am mainly going to be dreaming about goals from Skrtel, Coutinho and Henderson.

So 1-0 Hull it is then.

Depends what we get from Hull, I think.

They could press on from their weekend win, or they could fall back into the poor form they have been showing.

Might depend on the crowd - if they get on their backs then it can be worse than playing away!

Play 3 for the next week.
    A. Terry,
    B. Moreno,
    C. Alderwield,
    D. Kolarov,
    E. Stones

Now on Terry, Moreno and Alderwield.

    Repost-Totally bottomed.
I watched the live scoutcast last night and thoroughly enjoyed it thanks to all the team. (Mark stop picking yours ears!)
My missus asked me what was I watching and I explained to her that the Fantasy scout team were now doing a live cast. She couldn't get over it she knows I'm online chatting to you guys but didn't realise the level it's at here she thought it was a bit of a skit beforehand, but on seeing the cast her view has changed.
Well done to all concerned for continuously bringing scout to a more and more professional level.
You've broken down more barriers to non believers and showed what a real online community can be like in this difficult world of Social media.

yep. Gf doesn't at all understand the joy in watching three middle-aged men from another country, talking about the one game she doesnt at all understand why I'm enjoying... Mostly when i watch a scoutcast she gets curiosed why I'm so quiet, and goes over to see what I'm doing, but when she sees it, she just rolls her eyes, and goes back studying...

For some reason Fantasy football and the likes seems to have a bad rep with the women,(maybe not all) it's like they think we're wasting valuable time.
Nothing about them and f/b,hairdos,shopping etc.

I guess its the same reason why some don't appreciate sport (my GF certainly doesn't). Except its even worse when its a game about sport. Don't get me started on FFS UEFA games

Yes but watch if per say ye had kids(hope I'm not speaking out of turn here but speaking from my experience) she will want he/she involved in local sports to improve social skills, Athleticism and general well being.
It's only then that some women appreciate the positive effect sport can have on society.

Fair comment. I suppose were going off on a tangent now, if scout is classified as 'me time' for some then wives/Gf should accept it the way men accept their partners personal interests.
The likes of last nights scoutcast puts a face on this site and I think it's excellent way to break down barriers.

Anyone else agree with Mark that Danny Welbeck might be worth a punt as the third Arsenal player for the run in?

Likely to start one of the GW37 games and probably 38 with Giroud rested 38 for the cup final?

    Current team;
    Davis
    Terry - Ivan - Skrtel
    Hazard - Silva - Sterling - Henderson
    Kun - Giroud - Vardy

    Schmeichel -- Albrighton - PVA - Duff

    GW 35: save FT
GW 36: Ivan and Sterling to Toby and Sanchez
    GW 37: Silva to Ozil

Leaves me with £1.5 left over.

Is my plan right or should something be changed? Perhaps make a transfer this week?

Ok trying to plan for GW37 double, and I've come up with 3scenarios - which seems most sensible!!
    my team is
    pants schmeichel
    alder skrtel duff schlupp terry
    fab haz sterling hendo bolasie
    aguero vardy murry

    a) GW35 - murray > giroud
    GW36 - fab & henderson > sanchez & ramsey/ozil (-4pt hit)
    GW37 - duff > PVA
    Giving me 3 Arsenal & 2 sunderland

    b) GW35 - murray & fab > giroud & sanchez (-4pt hit)
GW36 - henderson > ramsey/ozil (no 4pt hit this week as I'm playing rival in head to head)
    GW37 - duff > PVA
    Giving me 3 Arsenal & 2 sunderland

    c) GW35 - murray > giroud
    GW36 - fab >sanchez
    GW37 - hendo > ramsey/ozil
Giving me 3 Arsenal & 1 sunderland - this means no hits, perhaps 1 sunderland is enough

    any opinions would be great

    cheers

More likely Sunderland in midweek. However a lot will depend on their league position and his form. If he keeps up his performances I think he'll play every game between now and the end of the season.

thankfully I'm on 56 without him so doing fairly well anyways. hopefully Albrighton returns the favor on my behalf then because he's coming off the bench.

    Suggestion for DGW 37 below:

    Keeper
    Chelsea Liverpool PVA
    Arsenal Arsenal Hazard Liverpool
    Aguero Kane (Arsenal/Aston Villa)

Most of us have Liverpool attack and defense for this GW, and Liverpool’s GW37 are Crystal Palace at home. No need to rush them out imo, we can sell one.
Aguero and Kane has a nice GW37 aswell.
Chelsea are tight at the back, and plays WBA away that week.
PVA are basically playing as a winger and has a DGW. Keep or buy.

This leaves two open spots, one keeper and one forward.
I suggest to choose one of these two options:

A: Panti, Giroud (this is my preferred options)
    B: Ospina, Benteke

    Bench one:

    A) Kane (MCI)
    B) Henderson (QPR)
    C) Silva (tot)
    D) Vardy (NEW)

      Tricky one.

If chasing play Vardy and maybe bench Silva, if leading play Silva and bench Vardy. Subject to what your opponent's team looks like.

Leaning towards benching Silva, mainly because I already have Aguero for City cover. But then again, Vardy's injury is worth monitoring. I'm playing more for rank rather then ML.

right now I'd be benching hendo
City's defence I think Kane could have a field day
Keep tabs on Vardy yellow flagged at the moment
Silva might play in the hole if yaya out

you think Mourinho is going to manage him so carefully just because there's nothing to play for soon and take away his shot at the golden boot?

Now that I think twice, it's possible Mourinho opens up after clinching the title and just tries to feed Costa as he chases the golden boot.

Just had a look and when they won the title under Mourinho in 2004-05, they played 3 games after sealing it:

      Chelsea 1-0 Charlton
      Man Utd 1-3 Chelsea
      Newcastle 1-1 Chelsea

In 2005-06, there were 2 games after they clinched it:

      Blackburn 1-0 Chelsea
      Newcastle 1-0 Chelsea

Of course, that's a long time ago and a different side, but that does not indicate to me that Mourinho steps up the attacking with nothing to play for.

in fact why would a manager purposely step up the attacking after they have won the title? i guess chelsea will just do a professional job and prepare as normal.

If anything, it indicates that Mourinho teams surprisingly take their foot of the pedal completely. Two 1-0 defeats to Blackburn and Newcastle last time he won the Premiership. In fact, of those 5 games, you'd only call the Man Utd one a good result.

what were the stats in those games though? though it doesn't look like it at the outset, it's possible they didn't totally park the bus, just didn't attack vigorously

i just went to look up the stats, first thing that comes up from 2006:

Mourinho - "Two penalties, that is 100% - for sure. Maybe a third."

He hasn't changed much has he?

Can't find the stats, but worth pointing out that for the Blackburn game in 06 he made 7 changes to the first 11 after sealing the title.

Anyone tempted with no 3 on the "most SiB during the last 2 weeks for milfs" list?

#4 more interesting than #3 to me... #3 don't have much left to play for except a better contract which I think he's already done enough to earn.

SiB over 2GW's is a bit hit and miss as a statistical guide. I think its a miss on this occasion.

Over a very short period I think total shots and touches inside the box are a better measure. Charlie Adam does quite well in one of those.

Is this a replacement for Mane by any chance! I've been thinking if anything is worth a hit.

Everyone will own Hazard. Kane's price as well as South defenderoos will go through the roof.

Gonna be tough to put out a decent squad.
