Our latest ScoutCast episode is dedicated to the memory of long-time community member Simon Humber, aka “Absinthe”, who sadly passed away last week.

Granville, Jonty and myself pay our respects by going about our business – just as Absinthe would have wanted.

We overcome Granville’s late arrival to analyse Gameweek 36, while deflecting the latest bout of community posers that have us assess the likelihood of Chelsea rotation, run the rule over Arsenal assets and lament the demise of Sir Leighton Baines. We also take time out to reflect on our season’s biggest errors, while Granville is given the unenviable task of selecting the best Fantasy manager from Jonty and myself – like a sultry temptress choosing between a pair of doting admirers.

This episode was aired on Tuesday evening via the magic of Google Hangouts. You can witness Granville’s unceremonious crash landing in all its glory via the full fat YouTube version below. Alternatively, if you prefer your ScoutCast more refined, you’ll require the edited audio mp3 via this link or the first player below.

Don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel for alerts on new episodes and to get involved in the Hangout live discussion next week.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Hazard / Sánchez / Hendo / Boyd / _____
    Vardy / AUSTIN / Aguero

    A) Keep Fàbregas
    B) Fàbregas >>>>> Mata, Herrera, Fernandinho, McCarthy or Mirallas (-4) and who??

I would have to do a -4 this week and a -4 next week to downgrade Fab (or his replacement) to Gomez and do Austin to Giroud.

    A or B??

That's a sad indictment of UK politics there.

In my lifetime I've seen at least 3 PMs who look like total c@nts, and 1 PM who looked like like an evil crazy old b@tch.

Is that what PMs should look like?

          I agree with you.

Just saying that it's a shame that looking like a total c@nt is seen an a desirable quality to be Prime Minister.

He probably doesn't have the fitness to start a game, so I wouldn't worry too much. Theoretically he could play anywhere in the midfield 5, but I think on the right is most likely whilst he looks for sharpness.

Right more help is needed from the lovely ffs community more than ever.

I am currently 2place in my mini league and chasing down a bitter rival. They are 45pts ahead, and is beginning to put the brakes on by transferring the same players as me to prevent any damage. I won the league last year from a similar position so I believe I can still do this. Just need some strong advice on what to do with my team next.

    My team now:

    Pantilimon
    Terry Ivanovic Bellerin
    Hazard Ramsey Silva Fellaini
    Aguero Giroud Vardy

(Heaton, Alderweireld, Cambiasso, PVA) 0.4m itb

Rival's Team: (he just took -8pt hit to get Silva n Rambo to block me)

    Schemichael
    Okore Koscielny Terry
    Sanchez Hazard Silva Ramsey
    Aguero Vardy Ndoye

    (Given, Henderson, Alderweireld, Bruce)

    So...

3 game weeks.. 45pts.. What can I do?

Get in Kane n (c) him? Berahino vs Newcastle? Need some tips to try and close this gap.

If its a case of make up 45 points or bust I'd suggest Giroud (c), save the transfer, double up on Sunderland next week. Wickham and Defoe for Vardy and Aguero. Benteke in and (c) if Villa not safe wk38

Barca can't buy him, Bayern wont spend that much, Real Madrid are maxed out in CM, United is too much history, Chelsea will be looking at more defensive players, City probably cant afford him.

          That's not true at all.

They need depth - Ramos is playing mid.
Again depth, huge problems with injuries, Schweini and Lahm getting on.
I don't think he will but money talks it's not unfeasible.
Probably unlikely but Iniesta is getting on, would hardly be surprising.
Pogba is better than Oscar and Cesc can play number 10.

Pogba won't join teams to provide depth.

He will join a team where he gets first team football week in week out.

How does he get week in week out football at all those clubs when they have all those players that i mentioned above fit an firing?

He'd have to sit on the bench and wait for someone to get injured.

i'm not in dreamland. Things are falling into place for city.

Because none of those players are fit and firing. These teams play 60 game per season, if Pogba got 35 games it would still be good enough for him as a first season.

City will strengthen no doubt about it and they may buy Pogba. But they may not. Don't delude yourself.

All I'm saying that things have fallen into place for city as all other big clubs have big names in that position.

So other clubs might be very reluctant to fork out such a huge sum for a player to make him sit on the bench at the start of the season and wait for injuries.

Such a big signing has to start games right away and at those clubs that'd not be possible.

Isco, Lucas Silva who they just bought. I can't see Pogba going there, when he simply wouldn't get in the starting lineup. Especially as Ancelotti barely ever changed his team.

If Real Madrid were to sign players, it would probably be a GK, DM and a striker before another luxury midfielder, imo.

..let's be real, if United want him they can get him. Pogba is a professional and everyone involved in that whole 'debacle' is gone now so there's nothing to say he won't go back.

That being said, Pogba screams 'journeyman' to me, so whatever fee you're paying it's for a couple years' service before he moves somewhere else.

And even if he leaves, it'd mean his performances were top notch and he 'd enable us win silverware and then we can also make profit on him when he leaves for Barca/RM/Bayern.

"The truth is that part of me said it was difficult to say no to Barca but I wanted to continue at home for many years at Atletico," he told AS.

"It wasn’t time to leave. This is my home, where I feel wanted and the club didn’t need to sell. How was I going to leave at the best time for Atletico?

"It’s not easy to say no to Barca and their interest was appreciated. It means the work I’ve done has paid off. But I’m at home here.

"I’m just another player at Atletico, a player who gives everything for his team and does what Simeone asks. I’m not the best or the flagship, the banner. The most important thing to me is to make a better Atletico and be a team player, which is ultimately what matters.

"The new signings are great players, they’re all important and I believe they will all contribute a lot to the team. They hope to do things right and that is something Simeone values highly."

          Doesn't sound like it.

Someone would have to put in a phenomenal offer. And by someone I mean Madrid.

Possible. But I hope not as he's my favourite PL player.

      Can't see it happening.

To be honest, even as an Arsenal fan, I wouldn't like to see him leave. Probably my favourite player outside of Arsenal

Ok, Sterling is getting the chop, but for who?

    A. Ramsey

    B. Ozil

    C. Cazorla

My head was saying Ramsey and gut was Özil, now with the Ramsey doubt I'm not sure what to think. Hard to ignore a penalty taker who gets involved aswell. Suggestions? 10 minutes until I retire for the night and I won't have a chance to think about/do it tomorrow 🙂

I personally am going Cazorla due to funds. I'd want Ozil in if no issue.
