The Scoreboard presents the Fantasy Premier League information you need from the day’s matches all on one screen, including the current top five BPS (Bonus Point System) standings from each match (potential Bonus Point earners are in bold). Actual Bonus Points will be shown when added – all points are provisional until then.
Man Lescotts 10 pts on the bench hurts! Especially with Terry sitting at 1.
What is the current points to be top 10k?
I've 2131 and on 10,497
https://fpldiscovery.wordpress.com/
Here you can see every gw and it´s averageThanks. I meant overall. Found out atm it is 2226pts. Too far away for me to achieve it unfortunately.
Does this average score gw37 take hits into account? I'm in top 10K 47pts -4
It will probably eventually also be adjusted for bench points.
The hits are mentioned below. The real net average is the average - average hits.
Thanks Torres, I did see that however wasn't sure if changed average gw score or not .
I was looking for this classic LVG moment to send to a friend (you see at end of clip ) and I wondered what the hell is Norris off coronation street doing as a Dutch TV football pundit
https://youtu.be/u8OfYRt2jeMI think I have my move for next week..now to just await pressers and the Wednesday result..
Rambo + Giroud > Mata + Lukaku for free to give me:
...............Schmeichel
.......Terry - Smalling - Morgan
Albrighton - Mata - Silva - Sanchez
......Lukaku - Benteke - Aguero
Panti; Hendo, Skrtel, PvAYep good moves me thinks, I'm also looking at Mata transfer in
Do you think if Ramsey plays v Sunderland he'd be rested last game? Or if rested for Sunderland plays WBA?
I think he only plays one..
quality
Worth getting Costa in for the final GW?
Not on the performance last night.
I don't think so. Maybe if Chelsea had something to play for and Sunderland didn't but it is the other way around. I think it could be close
Cheers guys.
Riser : Morgan
Faller : HendersonHendo 🙁
Cheers TM
Hey everyone, missed the all the games this weekend as have been decorating...
Just wondering how yaya played yesterday? Is he worth looking at for the final gw?
Cheersbeen decorating the baby 🙂
Top decorating tip. Buy the biggest roller brush you can find to make quick work of the walls/ceilings.
Looked good - him and Costa could be the best differential punts for GW38
24 points.
What is the amount lost by doing foster to courtois?
😡Unlucky mate.
I brought in Migs a couple of weeks ago rather than relying on Myhill and its cost me about the same 🙁Expensive keepers are never worth it.
This. Said it to you a few weeks ago Champ!
Currently on 77,075 Overall Rank.
Need some lovely punts to attempt at clutch top 50 push in the final GW. Already have Mane, Ozil, Cout and Benteke.
Any suggestions? Cheers. For last gw of the season!
A) Siggy + Gomis or
B) Young + Benteke?Of those options B
B
I was actually thinking of doing A myself. Benteke seems like a rest prospect.
Giroud to Lukaku or Sterling to Silva? Which transfer will bring about the better returns next week bearing in mind I will be left with the other player in my team.
sterling to Silva
sterling has been crapHasn't he just. A terrible purchase. Giroud hasn't exactly been storming since I got him either though.
Sterling to Silva unless the Arsenal presser confirms Giroud will be rested
Cheers!
Myhill as keeper has turned out very well 😎
It will have! I somehow regret going down the Davis route
hey guys anyone thinks rvp will start this weekend or would lvg go with wilson.. originally wanted to do kane to benteke or vardy to benteke but the guy im behind by like 10 points i feel is going to make that move .. also wanted to do ozil to silva but he has silva as well so need that differential. any recommendations or thoughts?
How about Lukaku?
well currently im wondering if to bring in mata and lukaku as differentials, but if i know rvp starts that will be tempting.. to be honest im not so confident in mata and lukaku just dont know what to think..
No idea tbh. Have you considered Lukaku as a differential? I somehow fancy him this weekend
well im beginning to consider lukaku now, but then that means i sell either kane or vardy? and to get mata in i need to sell sanchez, unless i sell ozil and get young in instead orrrrr completely forget manu cover and buy a leicester mid.. thoughts?
BTW this may sound funny but even considered leroy fer..I quite like Fer in general. But he is hardly likely to get much of a score this week. The Leicester defence has been pretty good recently. At a different club next year Fer could be a good buy. I am wondering about reducing my Arsenal exposure for next week West Brom seem to be solid in defence too.
yup same thing im thinking. look at my post below. thats what im wondering to do.
I'm thinking of losing at least one of Ramsey or Giroud for this week.
It is the only thing which is making me consider keeping Sterling for one more week. Giroud to Lukaku just seems so tempting. Then I only have Sanchez amongst Arsenal attackers
I'm seriously considering a gw38 hit to get rid of both if Arsenal beat Sunderland on Wednesday.
If you can afford to bench Sterling then Giroud to Lukaku would be great but I already have Gomez on the bench and am worried about not getting a full team out.Your team sounds very similar to mine. I feel for you.
welbeck may play so i would lose giroud if i were u.. i think ramsey and wilshere starts.
It's going to be an exciting window, I reckon. Liverpool and United are expected to be busy. LvG is given another £150m to spend, so Old Trafford is where most of the excitement will be.
Muller falling out with Pep may reunite him with his dear LvG, who gave him his first senior contract from the Bayern youth squad.
"It's no secret that Louis van Gaal and I have a relationship that goes a little beyond the normal relationship between coaches and players." - Muller
He could take up the RW, leaving Rooney as ST, and simultaneously act as cover for the striker spot. He is expected to be available between 30-40m.
.
Khedira's contract expires in the summer. Obviously lots of teams interested, United rumoured to be amongst them.
.
Clyne wants UCL football, and is not signing a new contract. His current one expires in a year so may go for £25m. Hernandez could sweeten a deal there.
.
This could be United's realistic 1st team, with a very strong bench:
http://www.footballuser.com/formations/2015/05/1258623_Manchester_United.jpgIt feels like wishful thinking tbh but it would be great. It's a struggle to get top players to come to Manchester rather than London and I would be very surprised to see Khedira at OT rather than Arsenal. Didn't realise he's out of contract this summer.
City will spend as much as United and Jose always makes a few big signings despite pleading poverty too 🙁Really do not want ddg to leave this summer .All the targets you mentioned are achievable though I don't trust khedira.
Man U will need to spend big right enough.
Maybe Liverpool will be a bit more careful with their spending this year after they proved they weren't very good at it last summer.Another 150M for LVG? Might get them 3rd instead of 4th.
What about Shaw? Waste of money.
squad for gw 38
Pant
jag terry rose (pva, clark)
sanchez ramsey ozil hazard hendo
kane vardy aguero.
i want to bring in lukaku and mata OR young OR another 5.5 mid
to buy mata means i must sell sanchez. to buy young or someone else i can simply sell ozil hu is doing nothing for me. i also have to decide if to sell vardy or kane. thoughts?Kane is bang out of form and expendable imo
Kane and Ramsey to Cisse/Austin and Mata would be worth checking out
with leicester defense i dont think i can trust austin. also cisse may be a risk if somehow carver doesnt start him.i was tinkin kane to lukaku and sanchez to mata OR ozil to young. i expect arsenal to rest certain players gw 38
Not the best of GW especially with making the ultra dumb decision of selling Phillips -> Larsson...
Is there any shot of me beating Faux_C in the semis?
Both tied on points with Giroud, Sanchez and Pva similiar
He has Carzola and Panti while I've got Ospina and Larsson...Arsenal win 1-0 with nothing for Cazorla and you should be ok.
Yeah I really hope so. Would love something from Giroud and Alexis though. Panti's saves are the key swinging point for the entire tie as he might just have more on his plate as compared to the Leicester game.
Oh well it has always been a blast to have made it so far in the cup!
Hey all.
Obviously a lot rides on tomorrow's game - but first instinct: keep Gru or Rambo?
A) Giroud + Hazard + Kane
B) Lukaku + Rambo + Kane
C) Lukaku + Rambo + Gomis (-4)My gut says lose Gru
And I wouldn't take the hit so B
thanks mate, that was my thinking!
my MLs are tight - reckon Haz will light up in GW38 for a final hurrah? worth the -4?I'm changing my mind on Hazard for a last week blowout. I'd sold and intended to take a hit to get him back. Not bothering now.
I think Chelsea will try to rectify that embarassment..
Everyone talking about Wenger resting players. The FA Cup is a week away and they're playing for runners up spot. I think they'll play a full team.
But of those options... Athanks SD! so you'd potentially lose Kane and keep faith with the Gru + Rambo combo with no hits for Haz and co?
Arsenal 0-0 Sunderland. Got this feeling
I'll hate that if it happens. But if you do throw in an Ospina penalty save why not 😛
It is actually wishful thinking. I have triple Sunderland defence haha
That is fine. Hopefully Ospina will get sent off Bellerin will be put in goal because Arsenal will have used all of their substitutes he gets the resultant penalty save and it ends 0-0. That will be fine.
Lol. Oh how we dream
I guess I may be pushing it.
What is the worst decision you have made this season. Mine was taking a punt on Sturridge when he wasn't fully fit just because of the promise of a DGW. Must learn from this.
Selling Costa ahead of 5 goals in 2 games because of "injury"
Yup I did that one to.
Mine is probably walcott. purely my fault in that
I think that is what makes it a bad decision (like mine). A lot of stuff is really bad luck
Yeah. Many decisions are bad luck so i would not really blame myself for that!
Costa will be interesting going forward. Injury prone players who are reliable (when they play) are the toughest
Yeah might start with him next season if chelsea good fixture! Aguero costa sturridge all good players just injury prone
too many to mention 🙂
Naismith.
Ignoring Benteke and Austin in a DGW.This, ignoring Villa/QPR completely backfired so badly
Almost a season ender for me and many. Luckily I crawled back.
Nice, unfortunately I've been less lucky.. been slowly going down and down after that GW
This
Kun->costa?
I wouldn't
Nah
nope
Haha ok thanks! Will not do that
Anyone else with Skrtel and Ivanovic on the pitch and 12pts on the bench? I knew Schlupp had the chance of a cs but even as a Baggie I couldn't play Dawson...
Skrtel and Terry on the bench. Ivan 1st sub.
Duff stuck on the bench for 2 weeks running 😎*on the pitch
Would anyone care to recommend me a good book to while away the footballless summer. I like fiction and preferably something a little different.
Historical novel?
I have read a bit of Bernard Cornwell in the past so I am not adverse to historical fiction. I have read quite a bit of more sci fi recently but I don't really pigeon-hole myself. I just look at a story and if it grabs me I will read it.
A few suggestions from that genre. I won't bother saying anything trite like "it's really really good", suffice to say I mention these because I've read them and liked them. 🙂
CJ Sansom has a series of crime thrillers set in Tudor times, the Mathew Shardlake series. He's also done a one-off called Dominion which is a 'had Hitler won the war' novel.
Similarly, Robert Harris' Fatherland is a N@zi victory reimagining. He has also done a few set in Roman times, like Pompeii and a trilogy about Cicero, an orator in the time of Caesar (final part coming this year).
Set around WWI is Robert Harris' An Officer and a Spy and Robert Ryan's Dead Man's Land, where he puts Dr Watson (of Holmes fame) in a medical hospital.
I'm currently reading Ken Follett's Fall Of Giants which starts in the Welsh coal mines in 1911 and expands out into Europe and the US as war begins.Thankyou for so many options. Just having a look through them on Amazon. Think I will purchase a few from different genres off of Amazon to mix things up a bit.
I'm quite into my history so that's why I'm a fan of them. Hope you try one and like it.
Do you have any scifi to recommend? I find that quite hit and miss - perhaps because it's a blank page for your imagination whereas with the history stuff the background is already there. I've given up on some scifi as I've just not had a clue what was going on. Last one I read that I quite like was Body Of Glass by Mary Piercy (think it's also called He She and It).I was looking at Fatherland as I quite like the concept. I read all sorts but a sci fi author who I really like is Scott Sigler. His best ones all set in the real world, it can be quite violent though. But that does mean that it has a good fast pace unlike a lot of books which spend ages explaining boring made up concepts.
Really straightforward to get to grips with the science part and everything is based upon things which could really happen. So not a lot of made up nonsense. I love the book Infected myself. Works really well as a standalone book but was made into a trilogy later on.Finished this one not a long time a go. I guess it is technically fantasy but mostly just plain odd. I liked it. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kafka-Shore-Vintage-Haruki-Murakami/dp/0099458322/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1432009729&sr=1-1&keywords=kafka+on+the+shore
Will check them out.
David Mitchell?
Just read a synopsis of bone clocks and ten realsied that is the cloud atlas guy. I would give him a shot. Is there a book you would recommend?
Any book by David Mitchell is quality.
Agreed. He does use inter-textual links so starting with the early ones is a good idea.
I was thinking the thousand Autumns of Jacob De Zoet looks interesting. Have put it in my shopping basket at the moment
Non Fiction///Marching Powder
Looks interesting. Thanks
Non fiction alternatives: Carlo Ancelotti's autobiogrpahy. Also those of Clarke Carlisle and Uwe Rösler.
About to drop out of the Top 10 K with my crap 29 pts. This week is not a great one. 3 Chelsea seemed so good with the surprise announcement that the big hitters all wanted to start. And yet I still have faith in them next week. Am I an idiot?
The last couple of games of the season are always unpredictable when teams no longer have anything to fight for.
That's why I feel my priority has to be replacing an injured Gomez, as opposed to vanity transfers. No idea who may be rested or arsed to play. 3 Arsenal, 3 Chelsea, Kane...
At least 3 Arsenal and Pants to go. Another roll of the dice...
which last transfer?
A) Kolarov
B) Milner (bench Kane)
C) Gomis in for KaneIn H2H league and Cup knock out.
I know it goes
Goals For
Goals Against
Then coin toss
1. Is it only players on the pitch ?
2. If for example both the teams goalies didn't play does that count as 0 conceded ?No autosub GK?
11 players for GF & GA.
Ffs Chelsea, on holiday already it seems.
Blame it on Cesc and Costa.
Tts why its not only about hazard starting or not..its more about chelsea as a whole
@James One,
Luckily you didn't take a hit to bring an extra ARS attacker. Looks like it's effectively a single GW for the attackers!Yup 🙂
Have to thank those who advised me not to do so.Surely I'm not one of those. I was torn and escaped with no advice 😆
😆
Survived without any Chelsea player, pheww... 🙂
Also went from 50k to 48k, thats surprising 😛
there goes my chance to be in top 1k 🙁
Still 1.5 GW left, have faith! 🙂
Same, though it would have taken a Hazard hatrick, Chelsea to concede, Arsenal to concede vs Sunderland and only Sanchez, Giroud and Ozil to get points!
