After revealing that one of our members, Simon March, walked away with the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) crown, we’re also delighted to announce that Geoff Pryor has emerged triumphant in the Sky Sports Fantasy Football game.

Geoff’s team, “Right Doesn’t Know”, finished 30 points ahead of his nearest challenger and wins him a cool £30,000 for a season’s work. As evidenced by his performances in the Sun Dream Team game last season, when he finished fifth overall, Geoff clearly is something of an all-round Fantasy Football expert.

Fantasy Football Scout supplied three of the top five managers for the Sky game. Katie Burgin took fourth spot on 2440 points, whilst John Eaton finished in fifth on 2432 points. Katie and John earn £1,000 and £500 from Sky for their performances.

Thanks to their endeavours, we successfully defended our crown in the “League of Leagues”, which comes with a £2,500 prize – the top five managers in the FFScout league will receive £500 apiece as a reward.

Our FFS Contributors and Moderators league will be hoping to challenge for the title next year after finishing tenth this time out, with our resident Sky expert Disable and myself earning a place in the top 100 overall.

Look out for an interview with Geoff later in the week as he discusses his successful campaign.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Now we know the lineup for next season I can't wait for FPL to restart!!!!

Quite excited today, maybe because I remember a year ago when I was celebrating our return to the Prem. Regardless of how bad this season went that was still a most unbelievable feeling.

do you think Austin would suit Norwich?

I reckon they need a CF

We stunk and deserved to go down.

To answer JK's question, I think Austin goes to either Southampton or Newcastle. I think he'd prefer to go to Saints but now that Newcastle have stayed up and Ashley says he will invest in the team…..

If they get McClaren then Austin could well go there and it could be a god move for him.

He's worked with McClaren before so there's familiarity there and, let's face it, other than Cissé the rest of their strikers are crap.

Austin would be a massive hit at St James Park and he' be playing in front of 50,000 fans every home game.

You only stunk in defence, you punched well above your weight in attack If you really want to talk shite then we'll talk about my Rovers when they went down...shocking.

Punched above their weight because of one man for most of the season, until Matt Phillips joined the party for the last few weeks

To think Redknapp was on the brink of sending Phillips to Wigan on loan in January too.

If it wasn't for Austin we'd have given the 2007 Derby team a run for their money.

You beat United at Old Trafford the season you went down. We did eff all against any of the top 7 clubs.

Not that I wish to get into a 'my team is sh*ttier than yours' debate, but we really sucked big hairy sweaty donkeys balls this season.

On a separate note, in Turkish league Fenerbahce just drew 2-2 with Basaksehir which resulted arch rivals Galatasaray to win the title

Fenerbahce ended the game 4 players sent off.

    Interesting read.

In summary : Sterling actually DOES stack up stats-wise VS some of the best ever players at the age of 20. Although this doesn't take into account attitude.

Plus we'll get a nice sell on wedge when he goes.

Should be able to get Austin's replacement with that.

      Mmm, not convinced by that.

Sterling was playing cf at times for liverpool. No one criticised him for not getting into positions to score, it was for his horrendous end product.

The likes of Ronaldo didn't play cf, more like a wingers so for them to have similar chances and scores would suggest thy were better?

Sterling has potential. It now comes down to his attitude and how hard he wants to work or if he just wants to collect an astronomic wage. I have my doubts...

It always difficult to fit all the players you want at the start of the season.

Apart from Aguero, there are no real 'stand out' strikers.

Given the points above I might go with Aguero and two budget strikers at the start so I can afford Hazard, Sanchez and Silva in midfield. Unless they reclassify Sanchez as a forward.

There's always something to get in the way of FPL!

Getting that 3rd forward spot is important IMO, that's why I invest so much time pre-season

My one this season was Austin. If you'd put him in and left him there you'd have done pretty well out of this season

Finding the next Austin as opposed to the next Ebanks-Blake will be critical

Might as well accept that you'll probably get it wrong and look to correct it once the right answers emerge. This year quite a few budget strikers turned out to be good including Kane, Austin, Ings, Berahino, etc

That's like finding a Unicorn, twice.

But, that kinda speaks to my point.
It's pretty rare to find these guys, right?
I mean, I've played 4 seasons now & that's a total of three & two of them came along this year.
Maybe a *veteran* of the game could let us know if there were any other sub-6mil no brainer every week strikers?

There;s always one or 2 out there and I always try and identify them

sometimes I get it right, sometimes I get it wrong, but I always look for them

For example if he's on loan somewhere and is nailed, James Wilson could be worth a look

Who would rate better Dimaria or bale ?
I think dimaria because has not started many games yet he high up on assists table and being his first year he will take time to adjust overall I think he has more quality than bale but just edges it .
If only bale played like played with spurs

As someone who has watched adm closely he seems to have shown quite a lack of guts. Some of his latter displays have been embarrassingly poor. I think you combine their madrid performances with utd/spurs you'd have to go with bale
