It’s here. The new Premier League season is upon us and begins within the fitting confines of the “theatre of dreams”.
Old Trafford hosts the season opener, as Louis van Gaal’s freshly sculpted Manchester Untied lineup host Tottenham.
It’s a lip-smacking, sun drenched prospect, played on a billiard table of a surface, with an array of Fantasy talent on show.
Immediately we hope to assess the prospects of both Wayne Rooney and Harry Kane – two protagonists who will surely play some part in our seasons, if not our Gameweek 1 lineups.
Following that, we’ve a quartet of three o’clock kick-offs and a tea-time date with the champions.
