    So I came from the future, bookmark this... (btw i have mahrez, coincidince? I think not!) so tomorrow, Arsenal kicks off against west ham. Walcott starts up top, and scores a goal in the opening 30 minutes. Assisted by Caz. Halftime remains 1-0. First 20 minutes of the second half ozil bangs in a shot, Walcott assist. It remains 2-0, Giroud then takes off Walcott in the 67'. The score remains 2-0. Walcott 3 BPS, Ozil 2 BPS, Caz 1 BPS.

    While this is taking place, Southampton are playing Newcastle. In the 22' Saido Mane fires in a rocket! Assited by Clasie. 67' cisse blows by our defence and levels the score. In the 87' Mane serves in a cross and Pelle bangs it in for the win.

    Later on, Liverpool kicks off against Stoke. Milner finds the net from a Henderson pass and makes it 1-0 min the first half and that is how the match ends.

    Pretty gutted that I chose to go without an expensive defender in the end, especially after all of my efforts into persuading people that Azpi is the best pick from the Chelsea defence. Pretty ironic that he was the one to get attacking returns 🙂

            I remember, destroyed him.

            I'm fine with him being out paced but it looked like some basic positioning at corners and body positioning to turn etc was poor, the stuff preseason was for sorting out.

            There's a sense of overreaction to GW1.

            Just like when Tekkers beat ARS a cpl yrs ago.
            And, very similar to United losing to Swans last year.

            CHE are a quality club, with a deep bench & with (one of) the best managers in the world at the helm.

            I despise Chelsea, but come GW38 they'll be in the Top 2 of the table & Top 2 for CS as well.

            I'd be happy to put a 20 on that... 🙂

              Well I'm not interested in a season long deal. I'm only interested in the short to medium term and Chelsea have some tough games. For that reason there will definitely be better value elsewhere.

          I was tempted by that myself. In the end I stuck with Azpi and Chadli over Mane. Think the rest of our attack is the same.

          What Im gutted about is I ended up switching from having AGuero to dropping him and getting Haz. The mid to lose out - Mahrez 🙁
