          Ah smeg, didn't realise autosubs weren't counted. I should be safe anyway but may have to revisit my keeper tactic. I currently have two from the same team and play the back-up in case of a sending off. If I don't get autosub points I'll miss out on keeper points most weeks.

      As a non Hazard owner, I'm just so thankful that he did jack all in the first week. However, my goodness is he dangerous. I have Ageuro and Rooney. Might be severely downgrading Rooney if he does nothing... which is entirely possible after watching today's disaster.

    Hmmm...what to do with Courtois?

    Could be banned for the next 3 games, but I have McCarthy. McCarthy faces ARS, AVL, che in the next 3 though...not very assuring.

    Do I spend a transfer on Courtois? I'm sure his price will plummet, therefore leaving me with a lower TV.

    I also plan to WC come GW 8, so if I keep him the only CS I'm lookign at is Newcastle away GW 6.

    Wow, I'm a little surprised at how low the price prediction sites think the NTI threshold will be for a rise. I would have though it would be at least double that at this time of year. Maybe they're just going off the end of last season? We'll have to wait for Cech or one of the others to rise to find out I guess.

      They're just making it up at this point. Until someone rises they have nothing to zero in on... Won't even be remotely accurate for a couple of weeks, and last year they never as accurate as in past years due to the rule changes...

        I know, but at this time of the year the threshold is usually more like 60-70,000. I guess they're just hedging until we get a riser, but I wouldn't be surprised if the first goes up at more than 200%. Folks on here will be scratching their head going "Why hasn't Mahrez risen?" and others will say: "They must have changed the rules again this year."

          so far as i know it depends on the number of active players...so it goes gradually lower through the season as people give up

          I don't think it was last years rule changes that caused the sites to be less accurate...it was because they were blocked from accessing some data from the FPL site that was previously accessible

    i guess its pretty good that my only lament (so far) is that i chose Bentaleb over Westwood. It could Boy that was an awful pass (sorry, "pass".) i worry about his playing time.certainly be worse. like as of tomorrow.

          I missed it for similar reasons. He's still cheap and there are other options at the same price you can jump to if needed, but I doubt he'll drop too quickly in price if he is benched because people will have bigger fisher to fry.

      Could easily have scored at the end. Probably would have returned some points if CFC weren't down to 10... Still essential (not least because if you have him, get rid of him, you'll spend the money somewhere else and it'll be hard to get him back without hits / wildcard).

      Sometimes people know fixtures are about to turn, or they are fed up with them and want to make a change before a price fluctuation makes it impossible. But I really don't think those should be factors tonight. I doubt anyone will change price before all the games are played this gameweek.

      Agreed. Last year was my first time playing EPL and picking my team like a total idiot I managed to get the best score I would have for the whole first part of the season. In retrospect that first team I put together was actually pretty great. This year I started playing around on FPL the minute the game launched and my team has just been a letdown. 🙂

    Gutted. In a draft league where I took Baines with my 1st round pick.

    I know, I know, he may not seem like a 1st round guy but in this scoring system, even in a down year last year, he was a top 5 overall player, outscoring Ivanovic. Figured Toffees could only improve on last year's showing.

    Anyway, to lose a 1st round pick in any fantasy game is a death blow. Never even earned me a single point. ughhhh

    What are people thinking of Mahrez? It's nice to see Leicester looking so promising after the great run at end of last season. At least of all the tragedies last night afforded me, I managed to stay in my Last Man Standing game by picking Leicester 🙂
