    The real problem with Walcott is that he isn't actually part of Arsenal's strongest eleven. Giroud is a better CF and Sanchez will rightly be claiming another starting spot too.

    If you're sticking with Walcott it means you're depending on Wenger making a poor team selection, which isn't ideal.

      I'd say that is really the problem with Ozil.

        Ozil is 100% nailed though and plays in a different position (usually).

        Second best FPL player, sure. Not sure that translates to real life though. Giroud is a better CF, Sanchez is obviously a better player, Ox could easily start ahead of him on form and Ramsey arguably contributes more overall.

          🙁 First name in my team this year, wishful thinking I suppose. Maybe you're right, time to move him on and get Aguero in.

            He was worth a punt but only if you know when to pull the plug. If Aguero is back then it's a no brainer to sacrifice him for funds.

    Very upset about the performance of Mané and Walcott started from the bench. I captained him! 🙁
    And the worst part is that friday night I swapped Albrighton for Sinclair!

    I'm getting back Albrighton but what about Walcott? Will he ever play? Alexis is back and rumours is that Benzema is set to join as well?!

    Just some early thoughts.. Expecting Coates to be dropped and not so sure if Targett will start(was horrid today!) .. my defense looks like this
    Schmeichel
    Merte Coates(?) Targett(?) (Huth(whm) Muniesa(tot) )

    Would you
    A) Save the transfer and get a 5.0 defender in for Coates next week. Means playing my potential 1 pointers this week
    B) Coates to Gomez
    C) Play 2-5-3 with Ritchie off the bench. Not sure when i'd use that chip anyway 🙂

        Ya.. i've planned for the bench boost and the triple captain(DGWs) . Cant seem to find a strategic boost for the all out attack chip. Only logical time to use it seems to be an Emergency/when you have 8 good attackers and i'm in a position where i have both(though Ritchie vs liverpool may not be a great bet)

    Do I get rid of my doubled up sunderland defence? or is that a knee jerk reaction?

    If I create a new private league (standard format), will people that enter the league keep the points they've already scored this gw or will they start on 0?

    Thanks

      Depending on how you start the scoring .. you could include GW1 scores or you could start from Zero .. You will find that option when creating a league 🙂

      If you create the league, you'll get to choose from which GW scoring will start. If you set it to GW 1, everybody who joins, will join with the points accumulated from the beginning.

      Probably was the language barrier, but Bilic's post-game comments were quite strange. He wanted to praise Oxford, but ended up downplaying his age, then went off on a tangent.

    Ok, thoughts for next week:

    Currently I have in my team:

    -> Sakho
    -> Ozil & Ramsey
    -> Rooney

    I'm uncomfortable owning both Ramsey & Ozil for next GW - would you swap one for -

    A) Payet (double Wham [sakho] )
    B) Depay (double ManU [rooney] )

    Thanks

      Not sure why you'd be more comfortable will double United tbh. I'd probably hold and save the ft.

    The more I think about it, the more I think a GW4 wildcard makes perfect sense - especially this year. Used to always wait until after January so I could tear things up in the second half of the season but, now, it's going to be a matter of pre-planning for DGWs and using my chips then, instead.

    Not to mention a nice bitta team value...

    I thought that, even though he tried to do too much at times, Sanchez was on another level threat wise when he played today....

    What are folks plans about if and when they would buy him? And, how would you create room for him (eg, Haz > Alexis, downgrade a stud defender + upgrade an Arsenal mid, etc.)?

    Thx

    Stekelenburg (Ruddy)
    Williams, Huth, Coates, (Bellerin, Francis)
    Hazard, Ozil, Mane (c), Mahrez (Sinclair)
    Rooney (v), Sakho, Pelle

    Who is most likely to drop in price from this lot? Is it a necessity to make any changes for GW2 and why?

    Any help will be appreciated. 🙂

    Ok so my knee is officially twitching, but it is under control! The WC shall not be used, but after the first weekend of the season it's fair to say Sanchez is the on Arsenal player worth having, hazard will be consistent and essential and Aguero is, well Aguero. So whatever way you look at it you need them all!

    Romero 4m
    Mert azpili bacuna (switched for in form 5m, I'm thinking lescott), targett, Oxford (switch for any 4m playing!)
    Sanche hazard Richie mahrez obertan
    Aguero benteke sakho

    Your covering most bases with that sort of squad how I see it!
