Gameweek 2 gets us up and running earlier than usual tonight, as Villa welcome United to the midlands.

Both sides opened their seasons with 1-0 wins and Tim Sherwood will be seeking home improvements, having managed just one home clean sheet at Villa Park since taking the helm. Captain Poll favourite Wayne Rooney, meanwhile, looks to improve upon a record that saw him score just once outside of Old Trafford in 2014/15.

United roll up to Villa Park for their first away game of the season having struck just 21 goals in their 19 road trips under Louis van Gaal last term, registering a shot on goal every 8 minutes. They’ll be up against a Villa rearguard that kept just four clean sheets in front of their own fans last term, shipping 25 goals – only Crystal Palace kept fewer shutouts than the midlanders.

Having failed to ignite against Spurs, Van Gaal will look to his attacking players to perform tonight, providing a test to Sherwood’s rearguard following their opening day success at Bournemouth.

        14 goals last season, 17 the season before largely played out of position in a team thats been transitioning is hardly garbage and his record for England is second to none 10 goals in 17 over that period.

            He's not the player he was I'll give you that but theres not a better option in that United side going forwards for us to choose from and most fancy them to be right up there this season. At moment it looks like investing in defence for them was way to go but I'd still fancy Wazza to reach 15-20 goals by season end at least he just needs to find some form

      He's cat. If the first half is anything to go by LVG will need to get the chequebook out. Seriously thinking of shipping him out. His touch is off and everything. Delighted to see Januzaj get a run and do well, always liked him. More of the same from him second half.

    Rooney will be first name on my teamsheet next season when he is classed as a defender. Until then so glad I don't have him. Depay hasn't done much mind you but at least he can move around the field.
