Gameweek 2 gets us up and running earlier than usual tonight, as Villa welcome United to the midlands.

Both sides opened their seasons with 1-0 wins and Tim Sherwood will be seeking home improvements, having managed just one home clean sheet at Villa Park since taking the helm. Captain Poll favourite Wayne Rooney, meanwhile, looks to improve upon a record that saw him score just once outside of Old Trafford in 2014/15.

United roll up to Villa Park for their first away game of the season having struck just 21 goals in their 19 road trips under Louis van Gaal last term, registering a shot on goal every 8 minutes. They’ll be up against a Villa rearguard that kept just four clean sheets in front of their own fans last term, shipping 25 goals – only Crystal Palace kept fewer shutouts than the midlanders.

Having failed to ignite against Spurs, Van Gaal will look to his attacking players to perform tonight, providing a test to Sherwood’s rearguard following their opening day success at Bournemouth.

    I had Shaw Mata and Rooney(c) today. Guess I should be happy with the first 2 but all I can think about is the number of times I changed captain!

    I don't want to end the risk/reward convo for selling Wally tonight.

    The 0.1 is really nothing, yet the risk of wanting him back/injured replacement/other bandwagons emerging can cause you a much bigger headache if you move tonight.

    Just my two cents.

      I think who you're replacing him with also matters.

      In my case I'm not looking at Aguero like you said before. I have two free transfers and was thinking Walcott and Rooney to Sanchez and Pellé. They're good transfers but I'm not sure I want Sterling as my city coverage.

        And if you wait you get to watch all the games this weekend, see the stats , and have twice the data to make the right move.

        Yeah it would be frustrating to be short of 0.1 from your dream move , but maybe some cheap option will emerge ?

          Well Sanchéz and Pellé are 0.5 cheaper so I could still do it, which is the main reason I haven't pressed the button yet. I think I'm going to hold. Losing 0.1m really isn't as big a deal as people think, especially when we're yet to see the other 9 matches.

      I banked my transfer to make the decision easier. I've also gone to Sanchez which is about the only player I'd see as an upgrade. Without those two factors, I think I'd probably hate getting rid of Walcott on the eve of him probably starting at Palace.

    We tend to deal in extreme scenarios here.

    In all likelihood, Theo starts, gets a goal or an assist and we're all left wondering if he starts v Pool next week.

    And that's one of the better scenarios.
