I prefer Silva in my side, but Yaya does free up some cash. With Aguero and Gomis which would you rather have?

    A) Yaya and Pelle

    B) Silva and Diouf

My 15 year old brother who hardly watches football joined gw2 and is beating me, he randomly captained Lukaku of all players this week!

        Haha that must hurt
I still remember the feeling going into gw 1 with a badass team nobody could beat ... I thought
58 points overall, would be 50 if it wasn't for my transfer this week 😀

Haha its all about those small gains at the moment! Part of me is actually enjoying this random start to the season, I lead all my leagues last year from the first week which was well boring, a lot more fun coming from the back!

I don't really enjoy it actually, it's like everyone is scoring expect my players.
Was watching Liverpool tonight, all my competitors except one had Benteke (C) and all had a Liverpool defender, both got undeserved points ...

The trick is just to stay patients with your picks and not to chase points, I always feel that when my team lets me down one week thats its highly unlikely itll let me down again the week after, (unless you have a rubbish team of course 😉 )

      Stoke Midfield = Minefield.
      Look at their roster now...
There's only 3/4 spots, so rotation is a foregone conclusion.

Seriously considering wildcard, current team is this:

    Cech / Schwarzer

    Azpi / Huth / Cedric / Gomez / S Taylor

    Mane / Yaya / Hazard / Mahrez / Fletcher

    Rooney / Benteke / Deeney

Wildcard needed?? I'm not happy with keepers or defence. Also need to get Sanchez & Aguero..

Folks, has anyone figured a work around for the FPL blocking us / the 3rd party apps from accessing the mobile version of their site?

Or are we just doomed to spend the £1.50 on the awful FPL app?

Sterling dropping this week? I wanna sub Coates with Francis but just saw that Francis may --->4,4 this week too so any suggestions?

      • 16 Years
      10 years, 6 months ago

Ive got Francis, its not important to me that hes dropping as Im going to hold anyway due to how good Bournemouths fixtures are, it only becomes a concern if he gets dropped. I also have coates who i just took out for Richards 30 minutes ago

          • 16 Years

I wouldnt wait for the drop as Francis may get away with not falling this week whereas Coates is certain to fall,

Remember we only ever lose TV when we sell our players.
So, if we've got faith in Sterling then, a fall won't matter.

            • 11 Years
            10 years, 6 months ago

Sorry, I CAN get Kun next week but he will be 13.1 and Sterling might fall so I would be really not in a good position:(

              Hold on.
We're getting our wires crossed here.

The ONLY point I'm making is this:
If we don't sell Sterling we won't lose any cash.

So, if you believe he'll come good then keep him because, his price in the short-term is irrelevant.

      Your rotations are still good.
Your attackers have a decent slate of upcoming fixtures.
Save the FT & have 2x coming back from the Intl Break.

Just caught up with this night's Scoutcast, god damn you Jonty and Granville. You've put questions in my head about WC'ing now. 🙁 Brilliant as usual btw.

My team as it stands -

    Ruddy (McCarthy)
    Toby - Richards - Cedric (Francis/Taylor)
Haz - Ozil - Mahrez - Mane (Fletcher)
    Aguero - Gomis - Sakho

I guess you could say it's fine but like Jonty/Granville said, I too, wouldn't be sure when to play it anyway.

I took -4 this week already to do Rooney > Gomis, Coates > Richards (now on the fence about it, I came in drunk and went for it but I'll have gained £0.1m off it soo... Exact same goes for Gomis. I've had Kun/Mahrez from GW1.

I'm currently 281k rank, not sure what I'll be after tonight. I'm 12 pts off two mates in a ML (3 mates in it, one has played his WC this week who's above me, I'm 3rd) and 9 off another in a one v one.

What's your guys views on it? I'd appreciate it. Cheers. 🙂

Henderson might be injured so hold off on looking for 5th mid until there's an update on his fitness.

    A) Ozil + Mane
    B) Sanchez + Mahrez

Why am I leaning towards A so much?

Because Mahrez plays for Leicester and they have only played two games. Still a punt imo.

Now Sanchez and Mané, that would be something...

Everyone else feel bad bout shipping rooney out this week? (since they've got newcastle next week) Need a way to get kun in and don't fancy like giving up tekkers or gomis.

    Thoughts?

Im holding this week but only as I already have Aguero, if I didnt then he would surely have to be the player this week to make way,

Felt like i had to to avoid price rise in Aguero which would just price me out of him
