      I'm a Liverpool fan, and I can tell you Brendan is obsessed with his defensive results lately. Been working very hard on getting our defense right apparently (and rightly so), and with back-to-back clean sheets there's no way in hell he'll change anything at the back for now. Gomez was really great last night, and I think it'll take a whopping for Brendan to change his defense now - though that can easily happen at the Emirates.

    Was all set on Williams on WC, but then I saw Naughton stats. They're pretty decent to be honest, and he wasn't far behind on BPS this week considering he had a yellow card aswell.

    Nice little differential at 0.4%.

        Don't get the sudden Francis hate. Stats are great, fixtures are great, nearly kept a CS v Villa and only conceded one to Liverpool at Anfield.

    Of all the band wagons at the moment, not too many of them seem like they'll be duds to me which is disappointing. Payet I think is a bit overpriced and Sanchez too, but apart from that there's no obvious Naismith or Ulloa from last year to avoid.

      yea that's a true worry.

      What makes it worse is that non WC teams who had a good GW2 probably also had a very good GW1. While those who had a horrible GW1 probably had a horrible GW2.

    torn over cedric - gomez for a hit. if gomez rises and cedric drops thats a .2 swing. but then gomez has arsenal next up and he's not even nailed. argh. my funds are super tight so the .2 would really hurt over the season

    The GK's/defence rotate beautifully, my midfield/forward(s) don't clash with them within the next 8 weeks or so. £18.8m to squeeze in a mid and two forwards. The obvious debate is - Ayew or Gomis or dare I say, both? If only one, which other two players do I bring in? I'm liking the idea of a 3-5-2 aswell I'm not going to lie as I don't really like the options upfront. Ideally, I'd like the freedom to swap/change quickly if 'x' players fail drastically. I'd say this is quite the template btw but god damn, I love it.

        I'm open to a punt or two on the options left btw. I'm just undecided on Ayew or Gomis. Gomis upfront and two reasonable punts in midfield wouldn't be decent. Someone from Stoke maybe, there's a lot of possibilities.

    Do we genuinely believe McCarthy will keep his place when Speroni returns?

    Torn between him and Butland or 4.5/4.0 from the same club.

    Could play Butland every week, but would love that safety should injury or suspensions occur. Keeper transfers post WC is uncanny.

        He's not getting any younger that Speroni, that's for sure. Wouldn't wanna miss the McCarthy train being stuck with 2x Norwich keepers should he play either.

        Speaking of Palace. I remember you presenting Souare as a decent shout before the season started. He looks very attacking, but the stats has me torn on him and Ward should I go for one of them. What's your opinion on those two now?

      Silva does not have the shackles of defensive duties of a pivot, and can therefore play further forward.

      It's not every week that Yaya is up against a softy Oscar replacement in Ramieres or an opposing attack that fails to fire.

      always been more consistent. injuries each year hold back his overall score. but he has always consistently scored more. even in yayas best season silva would have come real close bar injuries. he only plays 2100 mins that year compare to yayas 3000. plus... i think his even improved.
