      Shaw an injury waiting to happen. Gomez looks very droppable in that Liverpool team, Targett is on borrowed time and hard to replace being 4.0

      I'm keeping Wilson until GW8. How many goals would have you guessed Wilson will get during the season maybe ten right? So that is a goal per 3.8 games if he plays them all.

    Re: People getting Silva

    Yes, he's awesome. But I think his points are slightly inflated with the 2 Kompany goals. I don't think he's going to assist a set piece every week. Remove that and his score is good, not awesome. Plus he created 'only' 3 chances vs Chelsea (and got 2 assists) - slightly lucky I think.

    I dunno, just a few thoughts - I still may end up getting him.

      You can't remove points haha. But if you want to do that you have to add in his goal in GW1 and get rid of Yayas which would put Silva on a higher total score.

      is he lucky with assists every season? pretty consistently lucky if u ask me. you have to remember each season his overal score is affected by the gametime he misses usually cos of his injuries

          100% goal conversion by Kompany on the other hand isn't such a sustainable asset. I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is and say he's not going to get 38 assists to Kompany this season.

              My point was simple, he is on 3 assists - if he continues at this rate he will end up with 57 assists for the season which beats Fabregas from last season with 19 & the current record holder Henry with 23.

              I just expect a regression to the mean.

      Tbh, I can't help but think you're only looking at what you want to see if you think that Silva isn't a reliable assister.

      I think more what you are talking about is something like Utd going forward, winning 2 games 1-0, with a combined total of 3 shots on target. Those are unsustainable figures. Not Silva's.

      Not jumping on Silva early can be dangerous IMO as I found out last year. City look like they will continue to destroy teams and hes bound to be in the think of it.

      Plus a lot easier to downgrade him if it doesn't work than draft him in if he be comes essential, especially with the pace of these rises.

    For me the difference is atm:

    Azpi,Kolarov, (withouth Hoolahan)

    Williams, Kompany (with Hoolahan)

    Rest of my defence is Gomez,Darmian,Richards

    Anyone captaining Rooney??

    I have Rooney and Aguero. The popular choice seems to be to captain Aguero away to Everton but I am wondering about giving Rooney the captain at home to Newc.

    Yaya vs Silva
    I was reading some tables on Squawka and found that last season Yaya was better than Silva in terms of both goals scored and performance rating. Also Silva's 5 goals game in the second half of last season when Yaya had to go in the AFCON. Lampard also scored 5 goals last season (which I consider could be of Yaya's share this season. And even after all this, Yaya managed 10 goals in the EPL.

    So my first question is that whether the myth of Yaya being better in the away games than Silva really true?
    And would Yaya score another 15+ goals this season considering there is no AFCON this time and Lampard has gone too?
