Looking to WC, what option do you prefer?

    A)

    Fabianksi, McCarthey
    Kolarov, Shaw, Lovern, Francis, Muneisa
    Shaqiri, Sanchez, Mahrez, Chadli, Silva
    Aguero, Gomis, 4.5

    B)

    Butland, McCarthy
    Kolarov, Naughton, Coates, Francis, Olsson
    Pedro, Sanchez, Mahrez, Chadli, Silva
    Aguero, Diouf, 4.5

    Cheers 🙂

I was tempting to put in Haidara or Ward, not sure why but it seems it could pay off. And for 5.0 Cedric could be an option cause Southampton can still come up with CS against teams they're facing in upcoming weeks

    Panti / Schmeichel
    Cedric / Huth / Kolarov / Darmian / Bellerin
    Chadli / Mahrez / Silva / Sanchez / Payet
    Fletcher / Aguero / Deeney

Woth WCing this team to get in Pedro, Wilson, Francis and Diouf ?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

As a Watford supporter, might I just point out we have the 3rd best defence in the PL so far, in terms of goals conceeded, by teams who've played all 3 matches so far!! (Liverpool have conceeded fewer too, but in 2 matches)

And in our only away match so far we scored twice!

I'm not for one minute under any illusions that next Saturday will be a very tough match for us at the Etihad, and most likely we'll get beaten, but I'm not sure the stats point to it being the cakewalk most on here think!

We played at the Etihad in the FA Cup two years ago and led 2-0, until an Aguero hat-trick turned the tie round. So I'll most likely captain him too with the masses. But I think anybody expecting a total Man City points feast may be slightly disappointed.

    Just saying 😉

Yeah, it wasn't great tbh, but should have won had Capoue not headed over. Flores seems to be a safety-minded Head Coach, making us tough to beat first. Hopefully the attacking side of things will improve with time.

Ighalo was poor today, but missed his kick 3 yards from goal when Anya crossed. Fine margins. Could have been a 6 point gameweek.

And I think. of the team who played in the FA Cup tie 2 seasons ago, only Deeney will start next weekend!

I kinda agree. Well the 3rd best defense won't be sustainable but I am hoping you guys to do a decent job. Have picked Cathcart over Francis on WC (and benched today 🙁 ) , but in long run, I am expecting decent things

Unfortunately he's looked isolated and not (yet) comfortable as the lone forward. He was so much better with Vydra and Ighalo up top with him last season.

That said, had Capoue not headed over from 2 yards today, he'd have had an assist. Fine margins.

    I have 1.6 ITB to potentially have a 6.1M 5th MF.

Is it worth adding depth - eg Redmond, Morrison, Stoke MF- but risk choosing the wrong person to play? Or do I just stick with a non-playing 4.5 and money ITB?

I've not picked a 4.5m bench fodder midfielder this season. You can still get a great first 11 with a bit of depth on the bench. Lens was on my bench this GW and he's 6.5

How did Hazard look today? Keep one more week or make him to Silva a priority?
    Options are:

    A) Coats & Mane -> Kolorov & Mane (-4)

    B) Mane & Haz -> Silva & YaYa (-4)

    C) Coats, Mane, Haz -> Kolorov, Mahrez, Silva (-8)

    D) WC

Ayew but you really need to play both. Benching attacking players always ends in misery.

Some chap went and benched Wilson I see this week. That's a big No No.

Only bench defenders and your cheap 4.5 mid.

      1. Jet5605

        Mahrez is my cheap mid.

I don't really subscribe to the idea of having to have a 4.5 mid. I buy based on form and fixtures.

The difference is that Mahrez actually have been unplayable, not just scoring points. Wilson did well, but he was very effective and the goals were a bit random.
