It’s Jonty’s time to curry sympathy this week and he’s on the receiving end of a barrage of cyber-bullying from co-host Granville.

Determined to the belittle Jonty’s Wildcard performance following Callum Wilson’s hat-trick, Granville takes to Twitter before roasting him live on air on the ScoutCast. He seems to have totally missed the fact that I too sold on Wilson as part of my own Wildcard; I’m quite happy for Jonty to play Patsy on this one.

Jonty rolls with the virtual punches to join us as we look back on the Gameweek that saw all three of us refresh our squads. We score our Wildcards out of ten, before scanning the community for Gameweek tales in “Rough with the Smooth”.

We then take on your questions, as we assess Pedro’s pedigree, the lure of Aleks Kolarov and the merits of a well-rounded squad in the light of the FPL chips.

This ScoutCast was first broadcast live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday. Be sure to subscribe to our channel for news of upcoming live Casts. You can view the broadcast in full via the larger player below but, if you prefer the edited audio version, you’ll need this link or the smaller player.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Love the frontline, couldn't be better.

GKs good also though I'd prefer Myhill/McCarthy myself.

Defence very good apart from Taylor.

Midfield excellent but is the Liverpool double-up wise?

I think I'd downgrade Coutinho to Sigurdsson or Chadli and upgrade Taylor to a 4.5 (Muniesa would fit well for rotation).

Looks about 8 or 9/10 overall. Just make sure to leave Ritchie out until he falls. 🙂 He should go before the weekend hopefully.

When is the best time to play all out attack? I understand tripple captain should be when a player has a double gameweek, possibly same with the bench boost.

But what about all out attack?

It has very little value as a chip, imo.

I'll just play mine if all my attackers have great fixtures, or I only have 2 playing defenders.

But it's not something I'll bother planning.

    Controversial..

Internationals should be scrapped. The multi national leagues mean that a players nationality is less relevant and the majority of 'big club' fans come from over the world. Players, managers and fans are far more interested in domestic football. The Champions league is seen by most as more important than internationals and the British national anthem is shite. As is the team.

Most countries have to support a domestic team from another country because there are no good domestic leagues in their home country. What's better than getting behind your countrymen! People who normally don't follow football watch. International football is great for most countries, although the standard is much poorer.

can't deal with this point of view - everything that is wrong with our attitude as a nation to international football

all fuelled by the PL and its mind-numbing bent towards the bottomless pit of global $$$

you think friendlies are a waste of time? i'm guessing you also think pre-season is a waste of time too. worked out for chelsea so far hasn't it

Your going to get a lot of mixed answers on this one. Opinion really is divided, if you have a plan of what to do with the money go for it, if you don't then you might as well stick. I'm currently in the same boat mulling over the same decision

Don't do it. Gomis is 3 in 3. Wilson hat trick do very much to West Ham's horrible defense

think i'm going to go for it...Wilson is alot cheaper and a nice run of fixtures...Gomis has some tricky fixture coming up. plus the 2M could mean i could do Benteke -> Rooney if rooney really has found his shooting boots.

£8.6m? Arsenal have a decent selection of mids for £8.5m and a good fixture against Newcastle although accept you may not want to double up.

Without thinking too hard i'd suggest Payet, Ayew, Barkley, Shaqiri, Redmond could all be options. Most would leave you some more cash to invest elsewhere
