The time comes when every Fantasy Football manager has to react quickly to douse some fires in their squad. The problem is, my team is currently a blazing inferno, without a disco in sight.

At least that’s Granville’s opinion. Buoyed from seeing his canny capture of Anthony Martial deliver a brace at St Mary’s, my cocky co-host is quick to dish out a whipping to my ailing lineup.

We discuss the merits of United’s new teenage sensation as part of another round of community questions, served up once again by Jonty. The three of us also ponder the Chelsea revival, David Silva’s fragile ankles and just how our Fantasy Football managerial styles translate to the dog world: a crunch question that’s been brewing unanswered for many episodes.

Balders, do you find it funny that your bot gets more likes for updating us on the price changes than we did doing it manually? 🙂

I think, its the detailing of the time to the second that the price changes go through that does it 😛

Morning DZ, am i good to go?

    Butland
    Kolarov, Evans, Prodl

    Schmeichel, Francis, Anya, Gomez

      1. Nabs Kebabs
        11 years, 24 days ago

Do you reckon that's really worth an FT? Surely that's a 2ft, nothing else to do move?

        1.
          11 years, 24 days ago

Do you envisage needing 2FT next week?

Always upgrade the weakest link in your starting eleven IMO

          1. Nabs Kebabs
            11 years, 24 days ago

i just don't really think gk's are worth an ft. been trying to save 2 FT's as much as possible for the flexibility it gives. I don't necessarily envisage needing two FT's but this game is unpredictable.

Look good to go for this GW guys?

    Butland
    Richards - Kolorov - Darmian
    Mahrez - Payet (c) - Sanchez - Yaya - Pedro
    Aguero - Ighalo
    ____________________________________
    McCarthy: Gomis, Gomez, Oxford

Bit gutted i've turned into one of these people who have a bench dilemma each week, hence benching Gomis, but could it be worth playing my AOA chip and play Gomis over Richards?

Any feedback would be most appreciated 🙂

Who's more likely to get a CS, Arsenal or Swansea (specifically Mert or Naughton)?

Or Bertrand, but that would mean he starts, which is questionable.

    1. Costa Nostra

None of the above will get CS, except maybe Southampton...but I doubt Bertrand will get more than 30 minutes.

  8. Van Klinkert Delarosa

The highest possible ownership for GW7:

    .................Cech
    ....Clyne - Kolarov - Darmian
    Mahrez - Yaya - Hazard - Ayew
    ...Aguero - Wilson - Gomis

    = 349.3%

    Mine currently have = *211%

    * of course benching Mahrez helps (50% alone).

What is your possible XI ownership for GW7?

    1. Telpuialion
      11 years, 24 days ago

215.8 with Mahrez since he is in my XI 😀

      1. Van Klinkert Delarosa
        11 years, 24 days ago

Nice, you must have at least 2 players lower than 5% ownership.

      1. Van Klinkert Delarosa

        Mahrez on bench?

    3.
      11 years, 24 days ago

212.5 for me. I'm amazed Wilson is up to 30% I might have to ditch him soon

      1. Van Klinkert Delarosa
        11 years, 24 days ago

        Why is that?

Do you not liking the huge ownership or other reasons?

        1.
          11 years, 24 days ago

After Stoke and Watford he's gone, that huge ownership will be an easy way to get ahead of the crowd.

      Why would you bench Mahrez?

      1. Van Klinkert Delarosa

I think he would score less compared to my other front 8.

        Between him and Gomis, really.

So I've been up the walls with work and haven't come on here all week and now realise Martial has gone up 0.3 in a week and Payet 0.2. It's all gone mad.

Is the Martial influx a bit shortsighted with very tough fixtures after Sunderland?

Anyway have 1FT and 2.9m ITB with no injury worries but some rotation risk in Targett/Gomez

    Team as it stands:

    Begovic (McCarthy)
    Kolarov Evans Gomez (Naughton Targett)
Mahrez Yaya Sanchez (vc) Coutinho (Westwood)
    Kun (c) Wilson Gomis

    Should I
    A) Jump on the bandwagon and do Gomis --> Martial even though he's risen 0.3m.
    B) Transfer out Gomez/Targett to strengthen DF.
    C) Save FT to have 2 next week.

    Thoughts appreciated chaps. Cheers!!!

Probably just a boring save. Start Naughton over Gomez too for me.

Looks fine. I'd do Silva to KDB with the free though if Pellegrini comes out hemming and hawing over his availability in the presser tomorrow.

I'd do Butland to Myhill or Ward to 4.5.( if Silva is fit ).

Cheers! Don't you think Darmian is the priority after this GW?

In term of fixture, their fixtures look bad after Sunderland.

yep id probably ship darmian soon - I'm tempted by the WBA triple up (got myhil and evans so far)

The way they are set up to play, ManUtd will get a good number of CS regardless of fixtures.

you think their defence has improved/changed that much since last season?

Fixtures turn ugly after this GW.

True. I might ship him soon myself. What's the scoop with yaya? I guess we'll see this weekend, but I'm thinking KDB upgrade son as well.

yaya seems a decent enough pick for the price -the main problem is he takes up a valuable City spot
