    MIND BLOWN MOMENT: SOMEONE HELP

    so i just tried to work out the difference in captaining the wrong player

    difference between aguero and martial points this week = 3

    a) captain aguero and play martial = (2x2) + 5 = 9
    b) captain martial and play aguero = (5x2) + 2 = 12

    the difference is still 3!!

    so how does captain choice make a difference? i thought the whole aim was to captain the player who you think will score highest

          You're getting 3 extra points for captaining Martial over Aguero, ain't you?

          Martial(C) + Aguero = 12
          Aguero(C) + Martial = 9
          (If you captained someone else then Aguero + Martial = 7)

          Your team is getting 12 points instead of 9 to its total because you picked the correct captain. If you captained Kolarov then you would have only gotten 7 points today.

      Yeah.... So you get an extra 3 points for making the right captain call. If you have both in your team you're 3 points better off. Do the math with someone like Sanchez and you can see it more clearly.

      If you play both = 7pts
      If you captain aguero and play martial = 9pts
      if you play aguero and captain martial = 12pts

      Thats where the difference is

      c) captain neither martial or aguero: 2+5 = 7. So, in your example, captaining the higher scoring player gets you 7 more points than captaining neither.

      Consider my captain this week, Sanchez, and VC, Aguero:

      Captain neither = 22 points
      Captain Kun = 24 points
      Captain Sanchez = 42 points
