Schmeichel & Huth screwing with my team just by being there. With Mahrez, that's three Leicester, so to get Vardy (as a Wilson replacement), need to take a hit:

    A. Schmeical > Myhill (have Butland)

    B. Huth > Dawson/Evans

He's been scoring since gameweek 30 last season. 15 gameweeks of continued scoring should have converted the doubters by now.

he had 1 goal in the last 5 and that was in a 5-1 thrashing of relegated QPR, it's just this season he's really on a goalscoring run.

Ings was at Burnley not Leicester.. not sure if Ranieri is much better than Pearson either, he's not done much in the past few years and Pearson is the reason why Leicester are a PL club still.

    1 FT ITB:1.6

    A) shaqiri >> ozil/ramsey/cazorla/walcott (lost my patience with shaqiri)
    B) coutinho >> pedro ( tough upcoming fixtures n could see liverpool will struggle in the coming gw)
    C) c.wilson >> ??? (could be out for long n too many option to replace him)

At five minutes to deadline yesterday I almost did Sanchez to Hazard for a hit. Had the transfer set up with my finger hovering over the confirm button, then changed my mind. Would have put me right out of the running for manager of the month in my minileague, which I should now win unless Everton go mental tomorrow night. Fine margins...

Took my first hit of the season last night. Could call them rage transfers, but I needed players before the price changes.

    Shaqiri/Wilson TO Payet/Vardy.

Went with the crowd basically, but going Gomis ahead of Martial this week did not help me either.

I know it's too early for this, but how is this for a post GW 10 WC team?

    Begovic 4.0
    Smalling Coleman Dawson Cedric/Alderweireld 4.0
    Alexis Payet Mahrez Barkley 4.5
    Aguero Martial Lukaku

Will also monitor Mata, Eriksen and Mane.

    Suggestions?

Not bad but triple Everton? I know their fixtures are good but still...

Also, Begovic and a non-playing 4.0... Seems risky given that you'll have to take him out as soon as Courtois is back.

the fear factor of him exploding like sanchez at the week end has also kept me from selling him.

The frustration and irritation is building up for the Kuhn owners...

Feels like he can't score for his life at the moment. Probably strong correlation with Silva being injured imo

    For the season

    A) hazard Gomes
    B) payet sturridge

My squad has no Chelsea Swansea Liverpool or west ham players btw

Is that due to current form or do you feel they are gonna pick up more points

in all fairness Vardy deserves the bandwagon, Martial doesn't...

I can't justify a team with Mahrez and vardy, both great players and cheap as chips but so many other players to choose from

Pity there is no 4.0 defender and useful 4.5 midfielder benchwarmer this season. 🙁

      Agreed.

I actually think FPL should've created a pool of 4.0m defs and 4.5m mids starters. Say 5-10 for each, so to give those who like to play uber cheap def/5th mid the opportunity.

I hate it, at the same time I think it's better without nailed on 4m defenders. Really makes you think about team balance.

So far it's easy cause so much bargain players doing well, and non-essentiality of big guns.

I think those who have used their wildcard and don't have the big guns are going to get a pretty big bite on the backside as the season really gets going...

A Hazard sanchez kun sturridge team could soon be required... All it takes is kun to wake up ( he has the fixs) & sturridge to stay fit!

Agreed and not really good striker options as well. 3-5-2 is way to go.

If Kun goes ballistic next week, the landscape changes.

    a) Ighalo/Deeney or b) Vardy for a hit to replace to Wilson?

    Wilson to Gestede?

Well i was thinking this. My concern is: "is he nailed long term". Sure for the next few weeks after scoring a brace. But with other problems like Muniesa and Gomez in my team, I can't afford another selection worry.

Among all this humdrum of transfer fees and overpriced players, Bayern signed Lewandowski on a free transfer last season.

Probably the greatest piece of business in years...

Thoughts on Berahino as a replacement for Wilson?

(I had the choice of selling Vardy or Wilson to accomodate Martial which obviously backfired spectacularly - don't really want to get Vardy back at a higher price...)

Opinions on sturridge? Do we think he will play well all season long? How did he play yesterday?

he looked rusty & still scored 2.

injury waiting to happen, obviously, but i think that's reflected in his price

Seemed to get a knock in the first half and played on with it so it can't be that serious. But you never know.
