Forget two fat ladies, in ScoutCast Bingo it’s all about three men with paunches chatting Fantasy Football fortunes, rattling out a few familiar clichés along the way.

Thanks to Numb’s witty community contribution, this week’s episode finds us gripping our dabbers in preparation for mispronunciations, dropped connections and a regular helping of “blimeys”.

Around those fun and games, we tackle the serious matters – assessing the merits of Sergio Aguero, Callum Wilson’s replacements and my range of Christmas jumpers.

All those hard-hitting issues are addressed via another round of community questions, following on from our review of Gameweek 7 as Granville fights the urge to gloat having opened up a 40 point lead over yours truly.

This episode of the ScoutCast was broadcast live on our YouTube channel on Wednesday evening. You can view the full Google Hangout on the larger player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Looking at A atm. But I'd like to hear some opinions.
    A. Lens to Silva (0.1 short for KDB)
    B. Ayew to KDB
    C. None

I've done that all season. I mean never got a City mid and tried to figure out who's best. Newcastle at home looks too good to miss and the follow up as well. I'm willing to gamble now.

I've got some real issues... Which one would you address first?

    A) Wilson
    B) Kompany
    C) Gomez
    D) chadli
    E) targett

I know... A lot of rubbish in there...

I've got 1.2 in the bank, one FT and this is the rest of them...

    Butland, McCarthy

    Zouma, Richards

    Sanchez, silva, shelvey, mahrez

    Martial, aguero

Wilson due to price dropping fast, but would defo consider a hit and remove one more and/or could play AOA chip if Kompany confirmed out

It's very template, but Wilson has to go first and Vardy looks the best replacement (it's what I've done also).

      Possibly Kompany -> Kolarov (-4) or Gomez/Targett -> Dier/Aldy (-4) also

    McCarthy

I'm try this one again, as I got not response the other day. I'll give you some more detail...

I need to put out a Huth or Gomez fire in my defence (and I'm not particularly keen on keeping Richards either).

What do you think about taking a -4 hit to do Gomez > Francis, then play him instead of Richards? Suppose he needs to outscore him by 4. I reckon there's a reasonable chance.

I could wait till next week, but I don't really want these future transfer plans building up, as I feel both a set to drop again soon, and I can't afford to let that happen.

        What's everyone think?

A Bournemouth defender for a hit is not a wise decision. Look at Swansea or Watford

I think if that are must have transfers due to injury, you can justify them also if francis outscores him with less as 4 points aotherwise you have other transfers delaying for weeks later that might give you a better return, too

Don't take a hit for a defender if you can field 3 that can play.

          Fix next week.

Even if you force enforced hits in your future as both Huth and Gomez are heading in the wrong direction ownership-wise, and you would rather spend an FT next week upgrading Westwood > Mane?

I respect your opinion, so subsequent question, how would you rate the chances of Richards v Francis being a points-neutral hit?

Buying defenders there needs to be a semblance of cs and looking beyond one game. Only get Francis if you think you'll get returns for the next 3 games and more.

If you get Dawson, Zumba and Kolorov, you can play them each week.

That's my thinking, and I've wanted Francis since the beginning. In fact, Huth is only in my team because on a WC and held him because we all expected Francis' value to drop and I wanted to make myself that extra 0.1. Been stuck with him ever since, cos there's always something more pressing!

        Wildcard team, need defensive suggestions

        Butland 4.0
        Kolarov Naughton Dawson Alderweireld 4.0
        Sanchez KdB Mata Payet Mahrez
        Sturridge Vardy Ighalo

        0.4 iTB

What if I change Alderweireld to Ben Davies? And upgrade 4.0 def to a playing DEF (Cook maybe) to have 5 playable defs?

Or is it better if I keep only 4 defenders and since I'll only be playing 3 of them, they're good value so can be transferred out easily and if it all goes to hell, I'll use the AOA chip maybe?

I am pretty set on playing Butland till GW18 so 4.0 GK is fine.

Hanging onto Gomis for this GW anyway. Hard not to like the two home fixtures at least.

Are people expecting him to score every game?

          C. A will be a good move in a couple of weeks when both Pelle and Martial have improved fixtures.

        Willian (6.8)

Is he a good option to Chelsea attacking points ?

        De Bruyne (C) + Vardy

        VS

        Aguero (C) + Tadic

Long term and short term both considered (WC-ing to fix my rank)

Don't have Southampton cover, have Kolarov as other City goal, have Mahrez too.

De Bruyne and Vardy for now. But going without Aguero could be risky.

Would you have Tadic AND Manè in your team from GW9 onwards? I would get Pelle instead of one of them but can't afford him upfront

Not personally, i prefer other midfield options... limited strikers so i would rather try and fit pelle in

          Probably not.

I have Mane and really like him. Pelle is a great option too (as is Tadic) - but not the midfield double up will work

I'm on a wildcard and considering losing Francis. It feels like I am only keeping him because he is so popular around here, but Bournemouth have poor fixtures coming soon, and they don't look like keeping many clean sheets.

I can afford a 4.8mil replacement. Any suggestions? Or just keep him for assist potential off the bench?

            Nice options.
I should have mentioned my defence is currently:

            Myhill, Gomes,
            Dawson, Moreno, Francis, Davies, Soare.

Truth be told, I was considering a Watford 4.5 just because they seem a little more resilient. Need to check some stats...

Watford's fixtures aren't great either. I'd play Francis this week and look at shipping him if you don't get any injuries over the International Break

I guess he will mainly be my fifth defender anyway, might as well wait until some other cheapo reveals themselves.

What is your midfield and forwards looking like?? thats a very cheap (but good) defence.

                Myhill, Gomes,
                Francis, Dawson, Souare, Davies, Moreno,
Payet, Mahrez, De bruyne, Sanches, Hoolahan,
                Aguero, Pelle, Lukaku

Fair bit of money pumped up front, but I prefer to invest in forwards until a certain defences start to make a real case for themselves. For instance, this season the logic would have been to buy Chelsea defenders to begin with, but they have been poor. Then City started to make a case for their defence but have looked weak at the back without Kompany and Hart.

Morning. Help needed on my defence.
Have aspi, Sagna, Gomez, targett and Oxford.
2 free transfers. Obviously last three aren't playing so I have to downgrade Aspi to free up cash.
The question is to whom and which of the three non players should I upgrade first and to who?
        Any thoughts appreciated.

I'd be plumping for a west brom defender. There are tons of decent 5.0 defenders you could downgrade Azpi to, but for interest you could go Janmaat ahead of Newcastles nice run of fixtures
