After delving into the Gameweek 5-8 data for Defenders yesterday afternoon, we now set our sights on the midfielders. Arsenal’s in-form duo arrive under analysis, whilst we also cast an eye over City and West Ham’s summer signings and analyse the recent displays of Southampton’s wide men as the fixtures turn in their favour.

When do i ever learn. Not to do early transfers in an international break
Already did Martial --> Pelle.
Now have to deal with Kun injury amd a crap defence. (-8) hit incomming-
LOL I did exactly same thing. Stupid price rise websites dictating my moves.
-
I'll be taking a -12 🙁
-
-
Are you all likely captaining Aguero vs Man Utd in 2 GWs time or will you try and find a differential?
-
Wait, when did he get injured?
-
lol
-
Around 20th minute.
-
Did it look bad?
-
Check links on last page or 2.
-
Thanks TM.
-
-
Could be nothing!
-
-
-
-
-
OH come on Augero, just when things started to look nice again.
Already used my transfer on Gomez, Augero --> Pelle (-4) looks inevitable doesn't it? -
Quinonez injured
-
😯 Hide your children, hide your kids.
-
-
Thoughts here?
Butland
Kolarov - Dawson - Prodl
Sanchez - Mata - Payet - Wijnaldum
Aguero - Pelle - Berahino
Mccarthy; Francis, Westwood, Lovren
0.4ITB + 0FT
Already used FT on Shaq > Wij, thinking of potentially shifting to 352 if Kun is out for a while. To do this I'd go Kun + Westwood > Ighalo + KDB (-8), activating AOA and benching Prodl. This leaves me plenty in the bank to go Bera > Lukaku in a couple weeks.
Any other recommendations? 🙂-
Looks good. Decent plan.
-
Cheers. Just thinkin out loud.
-
-
Good plan ... stick to your guns!
-
Thanks. This season is full of surprises!

22 in Mods League
Already 3 x -4 and 1 x -8 (Demi)-

A few more injuries would make it a disaster.
-
Any more and WCs are go!
-
some are gone
-
That's unfortunate for those concerned
-
yep, always a way round though
-
-
-
-
-
-
Oh dear ... lots of broken keyboards incoming!
-
They wont be happy
-
Unless they used the transfers to get Agüero in, I don't see a huge mistake here.
-
-
scenes when pelle is being stretchered off Saturday
-
@TestEagles are you running a league called Community H2H?
-
No sir ... I think that's Innsie. I'm running the Classic Dead Zone
-
Hey TE, are you still accepting people in that?
-
Sure Zasa, would love to have you onboard: 63239-69708

Sweet, thanks 🙂

I knew you were running one but I guessed wrong-
Team name?

Rudy, Gestede, Go!
I'll join shortly.-
Ah nice, right up the top i see 🙂
Looking solid, the Aguero injury will be an interesting opportunity for the discerning manager now!-

At work so not watching any games - did Agueros hammy look bad? Was he limping a little or totally down and out? I hate the international break...
-
Chile are easily the best team in South America
-
Right now, definitely.
-
+42
-
-
Oh Ffs
Brought aguero in for studge-
130,000+ have brought him in this week.
-
Owned him for 6 weeks, sold. Missed 50 points.
Take a hit, bring him in for studge...-
Omg. So sorry. Terrible luck.
-
-
-
😀 been awaiting your arrival!
-
😆
Studge could go mental too
-
-
So did Doosra.
-
3 transfers this week after WC last week (Against me in H2H).
-
Ha! Game set and match 🙂
I've already made 3 too 🙁-
I will make 3 now. Beat him by 6 pts. lucky he took him out.
-
-
-
Oh wow. I would say great minds think alike but i dont feel too great right now 😆
-
-
-
Ecuador 1 nil
-
Bony looks like a very easy captain choice this week.
-
Hazard
-
-
Cry for me Argentina
-
Espanyol's Caceido 2-0
-
Not been a good day out for the Maradonnas
-
No Messi No Kun & two shitty Full backs
-
-
-
Ecuador 2-0 Argentina
-
No Messi, No Aguero, No Cry.
-
No woman, no cry.
-
-
Well the Kun injury is chaos. Already made transfers so will have to hold him till after deadline.
Front 7 ok?
Silva Payet Sanchez Mahrez Mane
Vardy Ighalo-
Yeah very decent indeed, you'll be absolutely fine with that 7
-
Yeah. Ighalo has a bad fixture but you never know!
-
-
Lol 0-2
-
Terrible.
-
1st ever loss to Ecuador at home in a WC qualifier
-
Wow. Love the depth in Sth America.
-
-
-
-
The 130,000 people who bought Aguero in this week will be disappointed by the sounds of it.
-
Costa anyone??
-
Like tea more.
-
Boom tish! 🙂
-
-
I was 0.3 off of being able to bring him in 🙁
-
5.2% ownership mostly dead teams
You mean Costa (c) 🙂-
Could be gold! Hungry to pay back his team for his absence.
-
-
Possible, it's just the length of the next ban that worries.
-
With any luck Aguero will be fit before he gets banned again we can just buy Kun back then
-
This ^. Can't see Chelsea staying down the ladder for long.
-
Only out two weeks then?
-
Probably 😉
It's a win for the casuals!
-
-
-
-
-
I hope Agüero's injury is only a minor one. He's the only player left from my GW1 team so I'll be sad to lose him.
-
That's some good turnover! 8 here pre WC
-
Good inital picks I presume?
-
Hennesey, Huth, Targett, Bentaleb
Myhill, Kolarov, Aguero (C), Pelle
😉
-
-
-
Just Francis & Butland left myself
-
Fpl is no place for nostalga
-
-
Sooooo many options if Aguero out for a while!
Costa
Sturridge
Pelle
Martial
Lukaku
And who ever you pick can turn westwood into 7.8.9mill mid-
True but I hope he is ok as I like the diversity in teams at the moment.
-
There is very little diversity in teams at the moment.
-
The diversity will come in GW 13 when EVERYONE has good fixtures viz. Ars, United, Chelsea, Liv, Everton, Southampton.
-
-
-
Hail Mary!
-
Touchdown
-
...full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, for thou hast given birth to the Saviour of our souls.
Amen.
-
-
Front 7 without Aguero :-
Sanchez, Payet, KDB, Mahrez, Morrison
Vardy, Ayoze
1FT 2.1ITB
A) Kun > Pelle & bench either Morrison/Ayoze
B) Kun > Pelle & Morrison > Hazard for -4
B) Play as above and save a FT -
ben davies vs ward?
who is better for the longt erm? -
If out for a bit, I am inclined to sell Aguero for lukaku and then upgrade Westwood to Wolcott. I'd do Silva, but am 0.5 short. I have Alexis and KDB already. This would for minus 8, given that I've already used my FT. I do have my wc, but would prefer to hold for gw11 or kun return week.
-
I also hope he's fine too as I'm happy with my team right now . Aguero out makes it messy
-
Lol @ me for knee jerking Coutinho>Mane
-
Man, I did the very same move.
-
He didn't play for Brazil today.
-
Solid move. Mané will score a hattrick in every game.
-
