Sunday’s football feast continues apace with two main courses. Bournemouth will try to put an end to Tottenham Hotspur’s eight-match unbeaten streak when Mauricio Pochettino’s men pay them a visit, while the Manchester clubs do battle at Old Trafford.

Despite conceding fewer shots (44) than Arsenal (55) across the last four Gameweeks, the Cherries ranked joint-top for big chances conceded (15), promoting investment in Spurs’ attacking recruits. The Lilywhites, however, have established a resolute last line of defence, conceding the fewest goals (three) and big chances (three) since Gameweek 6. In fact, no side has watched their net ripple on fewer occasions (seven) than Tottenham this campaign.

If the form of both sides is anything to go by, the Manchester derby promises to be a high-scoring affair. From Gameweek 5 onwards, Man City (14) and Man United (12), place first and third, respectively, for goals scored, with the former carding a whopping 11 goals in their previous two outings. Notwithstanding their dominance from an attacking perspective, the Sky Blues rank joint-fourth for goals conceded (eight) over the last four Gameweeks, casting doubt over their clean-sheet prospects.

Yes, I cancel him for my Fonte coming off the bench for Prödl.
Unless he scores again… or Cedric assists or even picks up a yellow 😉

I like Martial and think he'll be a top player, but until he's playing uptop instead of Rooney, I can't see him as a credible option in the attack.

    Martial to Lukaku it is.

    1. TheSteel
      11 years, 5 hours ago

      What about Kane

      1. Cruicky
        11 years, 4 hours ago

Haven't seen the match today but looking at it, Pelle at home to BOU, Lukaku at home to SUN & Kane at home to AV all have the potential to put up big numbers.

Difficult to decide on which 2 of those + Vardy for the front 3.

Had Kane since start of season. That's meant some disappointing game weeks, but I'm enjoying my day in the sun.

Who to get next week for Gomis though? Front 8 =

Sanchez, Ayew, De Bruyne, Mahrez, Wijnaldum
    Vardy, Kane, Gomis
    £1,0m in bank

Who though, for max. £8.0m? Am a bit short for the likes of Pelle, Lukaku.

They have ever been relegable (is that a word? it is now), but to lose to Spurs less than 3 days since their loss at Belgium with first team... well, when you look at the shot charts, you know that was never a 1-5 match. Not as crazy as Newcastle's 6 goals last week, but not far.

      1. Somalion
        11 years, 4 hours ago

Aye. I think the blitzing tactic is admirable, but really a Championship group of players trying to go full tilt at PL teams ends in tragedy. Reminds me of Blackpool a few years back.

    Here's team for next week.

    Gomes

    Alderweireld | Kolarov | Monreal

Sanchez | De Bruyne | Mahrez | Payet
