There are a quintet of mid-afternoon match-ups for Fantasy managers to keep tabs on this Saturday, as Leicester City strive to prolong their purple patch at home to a Watford outfit that’s earned back-to-back clean sheets.

Over the last four Gameweeks, no team has tallied more attempts (68) or big chances (14) than the Foxes, while Arsenal are the only club to muster more shots inside the box (48 compared to 44). Nonetheless, the West Midlands outfit have just one clean sheet to their name this term and possess one of the worst home defensive records – only three teams (who’ve all played one more home fixture) have shipped more goals (10) on their own patch – which plays into the hands of the Hornets’ resurgent attack.

Southampton will hope to stage a repeat of Everton’s scoring spree when they make the trip to Sunderland. Saints place in the middle of the pack with regards to goal threat over the last four Gameweeks, chalking up seven big chances, 45 attempts and 15 shots on target. Despite conceding just four goals over that stretch, the south-coast club ranked joint-fourth for shots inside the box conceded (36), which will serve as encouragement for the Black Cats’ forward contingent.

West Ham play host to an Everton side that’s buoyant in the wake of their resounding 6-2 victory over Sunderland. The Hammers chart third for goals scored (22) this campaign and boast the best shot-conversion rate (15.1%) of any team in the league. As for the Toffees, only four teams carded more shots on target (20) over the last four Gameweeks, yet they also allowed the most shots inside the box (44).

Manchester United have failed to score in three of their previous four outings ahead of a home tie against West Bromwich Albion. Goal threat has been the major issue – the Red Devils rank bottom for shots inside the box (56) across the whole campaign. Finally, Norwich City go in pursuit of their first win in seven matches when Swansea City arrive at Carrow Road. The Swans have flattered to deceive since their steady start to the campaign, posting just one win their last seven fixtures.

Why would you want to do that? That would mean one less point, in a game where every point matters. It also means in future weeks, where you might need your bench, you will be a player short.

Mahrez (c) was such a big differential this week - gutting. Still don't own Vardy either.

    Benched Betrand.

Not looking like a good week here.
