At the moment Coutinho probably seems the safer bet. He has consistently performed and looks less of a rotation risk with Benteke and Sturridge in the picture.

Though if Klopp prefers Firmino over those two he could be a fantastic little OoP prospect

I have considered number of games that Liverpool (under Klopps) have scored more than 1 goal, then I think it's a little overkill.

Coutinho still my preferred option as he has more experiences in EPL, especially the busy December.

Personally, I prefer Firmino atm. This is two reasons: 1) more important one is his historical efficiency in goal scoring and assisting, anybody who's seen him play knows he can do the thing in attack, which I can't say of Coutinho; 2. for his potential to play either at no. 10 or no. 9 position, so more central more likely to get good scoring chances.

Not sure there's really enough data to compare the two so far... but comparing last weeks stats you'd probably go Firmino. He shot more, and had better shot accuracy as well, and he was also a lot more involved in in attacks, with more touches in the attacking third.

Surprisingly (for me at least), Coutinho was the more creative of the two, setting up more chances, and with much better pass accuracy in the final third.

I think both are decent options, Coutinho probably a little safer as you know he'll get game time and has been playing well under klopp, but I think I'm going to wait and see on both.
