It’s time to turn up the heat on Granville. After Harry Kane obliged with a 26-point armband return, I’ve clawed back the gap on my mancunian rival, who now sits just three points ahead in our “very personal” battle.

With the flame lit on our age-old duel, the ScoutCast is revived to resemble the days gone by, with Granville wriggling uncomfortably as we spar throughout. Jonty is on hand to mediate, taking a few blows of his own, with Granville lashing out blindly.

Around the melee, we take in another round of “rough with the smooth” and digest a slew of community questions. We chat Aguero Vs Kane, consider the merits of showing Sanchez and De Bruyne the door, and scribe our Christmas Fantasy Football wishlist.

      A player who is less likely to get rotated and if he is it will be a huge shock. (Example would be someone like Lukaku or Kane)

    Thought to spice up the forum. Coloured font on usernames for members who link their teams based on HOF ranking. Maybe Top 100 (gold), top 1000 (silver), top 5000 (bronze). Or badges of honour next to username for achieving a variety of accolades (a top 1000 finish/a top 10000 finish/multiple top 10000 finishes/consecutive top 10000 finishes etc) It would be like Scouts but better (no pun intended)

    Is it too clever to be looking at Ramsey over Ozil?
    Is anyone mentioning him?

    The numbers he was posting pre injury were so ridiculous he stuck around in the top 5 goal threat mids and he wasn't even playing for 3 games.

    My feeling is that a firing Ramsey > the steady returns of Ozil.
    And that picking him early could pay off

          While the performance in thenlast game supports your assertion, the evidence of the previous two home games makes it less clear cut.

          Up to you. Depends on whether you could ever bring yourself to bench Kolarov or whether you really want to double up on the Spurs defence.

          Hart and Kompany injured is a massive blow to Citys defense. Spurs have a nice run of fixtures. I have Rose and he had been very attacking since when I got him GW 10. But Toby is a good pick too.

    1st - Kopite65 (83pts) [3pts]
    Top 4% - Arvin-ation (72pts), OgHash (71pts) [2pts]
    Top 10% - The Fantastic Mr Fox (70pts), IanP1970 (69pts), Nivz, Jazziihd (68pts), Torres Love, Hearts of Olofinjana (66pts) [1pt]

    with SH@KTIMAAN, Barry Woj and Reedy closeby with 64pts!

    Got to say, I'm not sure I've ever seen such a commanding lead in this competition, well done to Kopite scoring a mammoth score!

    While the FFS Scout Picks had a shocker, the Differentials were Aguero, Eriksen and Joshua King (ouch!) - scoring a combined total of 72 points. Therefore only Kopite65 was eligible for a bonus.

    The top three haven't changed, but Mr.Robot and Dusan will be looking heavily over their shoulders as Kopite65, IanP1970 and Hearts of Olofinjana have all got themselves up to 9 points now! Looks like the race for the top spot will start heating up very shortly...

      Thanks for organising this OC. It certainly is a bit of fun.

      You can't accuse me of taking this lightly but I think you may have made an error in GW11. Either that or I haven't understood how to calculate the bonus point. According to my calculations, in GW11 the scout picks including differentials totalled 61 points not 68, so there should have been more bonus points.

        I've just had a look at the spreadsheet from that GW to double check! From what I have the Picks scored 52 with the following team;

        Howard
        Janmaat Dier van Dijk Kolarov
        Sanchez Mane de Bruyne
        Bony Lukaku Kane

        Plus the differentials that GW were Giroud (6), Dembele (9) and Schlupp (1), which is 68?
        Let me know if there's something I missed, want to make sure I'm not missing out on anything!
